The product itself is great and from a distance looks like a real flame. Perfect for the use I was purchasing it for. Unfortunately the packaging for the product was insufficient and the product came broken. The plastic body split in half. I actually sent it back and ordered another one. Unfortunately that one came broken as well. One of the lights had broken off. I was still able to use it for the one time event since I didn't have time to order a 3rd one, but overall I was bummed because when plugged in it really does look like a real flame. I think purchasing it from a local party store would be a better bet, since the company packaging may not be aware of their packing issues.

In my Table Top Flame Lamp Review I have a few things to say you may be interested in if you want to get one...

I super like these lamps as they give a feeling of a warm fire (visually of course) and I've had 2 so far.

The 1st one was a gift and it had an amber flame just as the color appears in the Amazon ads you see. This is a warm flame and very realistic to have in a room. It adds color and character to your environment all year around, not just Halloween or winter.

However, beware that with some of the news ones, they may ship with not an amber flame color, but a red flame.

This is a vastly different effect from the amber flame. My daughter liked it so I kept it but I did 2 things to it to make it better.

I frayed the silk flame fabric with scissors to add a more realistic flame effect to it and I also added in 2 amber strips of fabric in with the red. You can find it in any fabric store.

Of course, use your own discretion on that as you will void any return policy when you modify it like I did. However, it sure made the red flame lamp look so much better with the mixed flame effect.

I secured it to the bottom of the lamp with a little duct tape strip to the bottom of each added flame. It's a fan that blows the air upward so it runs cool and sticks well and is hidden from view.

My best advice is to contact the seller and see if you can verify which color it ships in but the best of the 2 colors by far is the amber flame color.

Your not going to believe this. Not just one of these table top flame halloween props didn't work but both of them that I bought on here didn't work!! Ugh I have less than 10 days till my halloween party. Bought them to stand on the snack table.im so disappointed. Well that's how the cookie crumbles! I'm sending them back. ASAP. Never again with this company.

I got this lamp for my grandson at Christmas time and there's no off/on switch on the cord, like one that I own. It's dangerous for a child to unplug a lamp over & over. There's hardly any material on top to resemble a flame (it's so cheap they could have put much more) I had to 'add' more to make it look like fire! And the fan that propells the 'flame' was blowing one side well but not the other. Spend more and order a better one. I gave him mine.

I was disappointed in the quality of these lamps given the price. The one shade has a line through it that when lite is an eye sore. The welding of the silver beads on the lamps base is terrible and cheap. I purchased these due to the shape of the lamp to coordinate with a scalloped 8ft leaner mirror and for the round modern black lampshades to ground the reflection off mirror. Simply not happy with the quality of the lamps at all. I would not reccomend these for the price.

This Elvis lamp looks great the picture was exactly what I ordered. There was a problem with shipping however and I left a low rating previously which instead I should have contacted the seller. Since then I have re evaluated the situation and realize that in this case it was not the seller's fault that I received my order much later than I specified, it was the post office who messed up this delivery. My teenage daughter loves to ride with her dad on his Harley and we just redid her room lime green and hot pink. I was going to buy her a cute lamp with a frilly lampshade but she takes the shade off to do makeup. This lamp isnt too big for her dresser and she can adjust it to do homework (right!) or toward her face for makeup. We love it.

Just what i was looking for, slim design, and a bright light!.. The light dose have one slight flaw, the bulbs are clear, which creates a glare on the glass of the picture,would have givin it 5 stars if it had a frosted lense.

Pretty shade but its' size was wrong for us. It is quite wide, but short, in relation to its diameter. It requires, in my opinion, a large lamp with a wide, shorter base. I am obsessed with a blue/green combination right now, and was ecstatic to come across this unique Tiffany lamp. It's beautiful. Some Tiffanys look very different than in the photos, or they look very different lit up vs. turned off, but this one does not, and there are no surprises. It looks great on or off. The colours online are accurate (predominantly blue and green, with the addition of orange cabochons as accents). The dark blue ceramic base is slightly speckled and beautiful. There are two cons the black paint on the soft wood base does chip off quite easily (some came right out of the box, but I touched up with a black marker so it's not noticeable now), and the metal threads on one of the two bulb fixtures was a bit bent (my husband easily bent it out and back into place). So I wouldn't say it is of the utmost and highest quality in every way, but it's certainly worth what I paid and I love it and am very happy I bought it. With the blue and green velvet pillows on my sofa, it looks fabulous. I'd definitely recommend it. Just keep a black marker handy.

For the price, this lamp is a great bargain. It is a solid lamp, rather than the flimsy plastic ones I've been seeing recently. My daughter is using it in her dorm room. The lamp not only gives off bright light, using a standard 60 watt bulb, but has two additional outlets built right in! After it's all together, it looks amazing. We put two of them over our dining room table and we've had sooo many compliments. Why did I rate it 4 out of 5, you may ask? It comes with barely any instructions. You need to use your handyman skills and, like us, go back once or twice and correct what you've done wrong. But if you are looking for step by step instructions how to put it together, you won't find it.

On the positive side, there are soooo many extra pieces of crystals included that you won't worry about what if one breaks or gets lost.

All in all, looks great and now that I'm an expert in its assembly, will definitely order again. Packaging was perfect and delivery on time.

First, let me state, these lamps ARE cute but if you are looking for something substantial or well made they are not for you. I was as well, and while I was originally going to return one of them for exchange (lamp shade has a small dent in it and the silver is scratched in a few places on the one), I have decided since I was going to "funk up" the shade anyway, I might as well keep them. The seller of these was awesome when I told them they were damaged but they need to advise the manufacturer, while cheap is good, cheaply made is NOT.

Not only was the one damaged, but the bottom of the one whoever glued on the felt base needs glasses. It's on lopsided, causing the lamp to wobble. Where was quality control check for these? Again, since I decided to keep them, given my time constraints for company I have decided to keep them as they are cute and what I was looking for in style but I will be filling the base with some type of heavy material and regluing the bottom. The shades will be perfect for covering in fabric (although originally was going to do paint but given the dent, I cannot).

I'm giving them 3 stars only because the shipper on these was A+++++

I purchased this lamp from Lamps Plus which was a mistake. The lamp base was reasonable enough but the shade is of very poor quality. The shade that came with the lamp was stained and had bad workmanship around the edges making the lamp look very cheap. I emailed Lamps Plus and they sent me a shade replacement which was in worse shape so I emailed them again and they sent a third shade but unfortunately this shade was for a totally different lamp (shade was made out of glass, square in shape, and in no way would fit this lamp). I emailed Lamps Plus again and they have not responded so I may have lost my money. I wrote a review like this one on the Lamps Plus website and they did not publish it, perhaps because of my one star rating. I would not purchase from this seller.
