I first saw this lamp in a consignment store but it was way over priced. I was so happy to find it on Amazon. This is a great Tiffany replica. You have to actually touch it to realize that it is not glass. It is perfect for over my kitchen table. It was packed perfectly & arrived without a scratch. I absolutely love it!

We just purchased this for $199 from . It weighs 11 lbs and feels like plastic, so I really doubt it's glass. Also the dragonfly wings are stuck on over the top of the panes. Regardless of materials, it's really, really pretty and the hardware that it came with is nice. We've installed it and it looks good.

Yes it is a lamp and it indeed functions as a lamp. So if you're looking for a stylish looking lamp then this is the one for you. The only problems with it is that when you're slightly intoxicated and attempt to yank the cord down on it the lightweight base will cause it to tip a bit. There are also visible bubbles in the glass work but you don't really notice them when your vision begins to blur and you lay your head onto the desk for a nap. If you're looking for a budget bankers lamp to see the suicide letter you're writing then this piece of equipment is for you. Thanks.

My old "goose neck" desk lamp finally gave up the ghost and I needed a simple replacement for it. What I found out in my search for a new one is that many desk lamps sold at lighting shops, and even at home improvement stores are way, way overpriced for what they are. The Banker's Lamp I purchased on Amazon.com was just what I needed.

The green shade, as some have pointed out, may be lighter in hue than traditional banker's lamp shades. But because I have never owned one before, the shade of green seemed just fine to me and didn't appear to be light at all. The unit is solidly built, and it only took a few minutes to assemble the unit. I like the way the pull chain works--it feels solid and will be able to take a lot of heavy use. Some have reported that the chain sometimes gets stuck and cannot be pulled down. This problem seems to be intermittent and can easily be fixed by just pushing the chain gently back into the hole to "reset" it. Add a drop of oil and the problem is solved.

I used a 15 watt CFL bulb in this lamp and it works great. You can rotate the shade to direct the light's intensity away or towards you.

Overall, for under $20, at the time of this writing, this is an excellent desk lamp.

I bought this to use with a dimmable LED PAR20 bulb from Lighting Science (sold as Home Depot 866623) that I put in my reading lamp. Initially I was using my old incandescent dimmer, which worked well to dim, but caused the bulb to make a loud buzz, even at full brightness, that it didn't make when plugged directly into the wall. I bought this Lutron dimmer hoping it wouldn't cause the bulb to make noise, but the identical buzz is still there. Still, I can't really fault the dimmer, because maybe it's the bulb's fault it makes noise. But don't expect this dimmer to fix a buzzing bulb.

This dimmer is quite well constructed, and I generally think highly of Lutron products, but I have to take a star off because the dimming range is restricted. That old incandescent dimmer goes much lower than the Lutron. I'm sure Lutron designed it this way on purpose in order that the bulb would always start and never extinguish, but I notice that their in-wall dimmers have a dimming range adjustment, and this one should have it too.

I have started switching from CFL to dimmable LED lights and this dimmer is perfect.

There is no flicker and the quality of light from LED bulbs is better (to me) than incandescent. LEDs beat CFL up one side and down the other in every way including quality of light. I never had an issue with CFL but LED is sooo much better.

This dimmer will work with dimmable CFLs but they do have a habit of buzzing (very dependent on the individual bulb).

I have two LEDs plugged into one of these, one 2.5W in a table lamp and one 8W in an uplight and they both dim from full brightness to barely-there levels; absolutely perfect for a TV room.

Highly recommended product.

Product came fully functional and clean.

I purchased this because I wanted an dimmable desk lamp that was energy efficient. Based on other reviews, it seemed that dimmable CCFL (fluorescent) bulbs could sometimes buzz or flicker, so LED seemed the way to go even though it may be a bit more expensive. I paired this device with a cheap desk lamp and a Cree dimmable bulb. The Lutron dimmer works very well without making noise or causing flickering (although this may also be caused by your bulb. The light couldn't go as dim as I liked, but was still pretty good. I would say about 25-35% of full brightness.

I also happened to measure voltage out of the device if anyone cares. My utility voltage is 118V. At max brightness the dimmer outputted 105V and at minimum brightness it outputted 15V (AC of course).

I would purchase this device again if I ever needed another one.

Update: After taking a close listen, the device does cause a slight buzz regardless of whether it's dimmed on not when on the device. The buzz is not there when connecting the lamp directly to the wall socket. However, it is pretty faint. I could only hear it when the room is quiet and I am directly in front of the bulb (within a 1-2 feet).

I measured wattage using the P3 Kill-a-watt. For my 9watt Cree bulb, at full dim it measured 2 watts.

I bought this dimmer to dim the Kobi Electric 07166 LED-AR-13W800-50 Dimmable LED Light Bulb I bought here on Amazon, which I am using in a desk lamp. The Kobi led bulb is very bright, so I bought this switch expecting it to dim the bulb from full brightness to off, and everything in between. I hoped to be able to use the lamp at full brightness for paper work, then all the way down to nearly off for ambient lighting while using the computer.

Unfortunately this dimmer switch only dims to about 1/2 full brightness and then turns off. If my 13 watt led is as bright as a 75 watt incandescent bulb, then this switch only dims it down to about a 40 watt. After that it turns off. On the plus side there is no buzzing and the light is completely off when turned off.

This Elvis lamp looks great the picture was exactly what I ordered. There was a problem with shipping however and I left a low rating previously which instead I should have contacted the seller. Since then I have re evaluated the situation and realize that in this case it was not the seller's fault that I received my order much later than I specified, it was the post office who messed up this delivery. I would definitely order from this company again. The product is great and my mother in law absolutely loved it!!!

The color is far from "oil rubbed bronze". Nothing bronze about it. I have the same lamp manufactured couple of years back and it has the right color and metallic antique-like finish. This particular model now has a flat, brown/gray color. Great looking and functional lamp, but the color and finish are no longer rich but rather cheap looking paint unfortunately.

This is the smallest of the three models, but it gets the job done. I was actually able to fit neatly in the front pocket of my backpack, like one of the smallest pockets available. I kept the light connected and drew the cord and hooked the solar panel to my backpack while hiking. It got the job done as that charge kept the light going throughout the night.

As I mentioned previously, this is the smallest unit and obviously the least bright; so if you want something stronger, I would recommend going with at least the solo. Overall, a solid unit and at this price, I am thinking about purchasing a handful for my Secret Santa gifts this year!

This review is for all three types of the Sun King lamps. I just received them last week and so far so good!

First off, all three charged super easily with the sunlight coming in my kitchen window. The pro version charged my BlackBerry up, which is great as I don't have to hunt for an open outlet somewhere in my house now. I was worried it wouldn't fit my model, but there were a few included. The Solo and Eco models are just as cool for what they are supposed to do...charge and light up!

Super easy to set up, super useful. I put the Eco in my car for emergencies and will be using the Solo in the backyard for extra lighting on my staircase that is a too dark at night when guests are over. I'm excited my friend told me about solar. If you are looking for solar lamps, you have to try these out!

Cheap kosher Lamp max - BLUE

Though you can use a regular lamp, I love the kosher lamp because I can just twist the frame and cover up the light and sleep in the dark (instead of a mildly lit or brightly lit room as I would with a regular lamp). The colors are great and the new MAX lamp is much brighter than the former Kosher Lamp and makes for a perfect reading lamp everyday or especially, on Shabbos.

I guess they did upgrade this lamp because it's much brighter than I thought it would be. I didn't think you could use CFL in an enclosed space due to heat buildup, but I guess it works for this lamp. The top that you twist never gets hot to touch, even after it's been on all Shabbos.

I got the ivory color it's actually pretty, it's not a solid color as I expected, it almost looks like wood grain. It's a versatile color, it fits in with the colors in all my rooms.

The only issue I have with this lamp is the packaging the foam padding is the cheap stuff that crumbles & sticks to everything & everyone I had to vacuum after unpacking this.

I've always liked Lampe Berger fragrance lamps since my former MIL bought me one as a Christmas gift years ago. I think they're classier and provide a more subtle fragrance than an oil or wax burner does and they're cleaner burning than candles.

The glass onyx lamp is pretty and understated, so it fits in with just about any decor. I have 3 of them for just that reason.

However, one thing to note is that the "oil" is not really oil it's alcohol based. If you look at the description on the "neutral" fragrance, it's 90% isopropyl alcohol. A bottle of the Lampe Berger branded "oil" is $20, but you can get 90% isopropyl alcohol at any drugstore for around $3 a bottle or less. I buy generic brand alcohol an add a few drops of my own essential oils rather than spend $20-$40 a pop for the branded fragrances. It's just as effective and much less expensive.

I've used the lampe bergers before & been VERY impressed with the purity and strength of the scents. For this reason I'm very disappointed with the lampe I ordered & received here. Shortly after "blowing out" the flame, I'll get a minute to three of muted scent and then... nothing. The ceramic burner is then cool to the touch. It's as though the second phase of burning simply never happens. This is atypical & perhaps I just got a bum burner. I plan to call Amazon on Monday & see how much hassle it is to exchange the burner. The lamp itself is lovely & comparably priced to other simpler Lampe Berger lamps. It's just the burning (& yes it is the L.B. oil) that has been a let down.

I received the Lampe Berger Swirl with Amber Glass in perfect condition. It was extremely well packed. The glass is beautiful, however I didn't care for the silver top. I usualy prefer anything in brown tones with gold or antique gold. I ordered a new antique cold shade plus a black stopper and it looks fantastic. Cost more that way then again sometimes you have to do what you need to get the total effect of what you want. I do wish the merchants would see how rich the glass is with the antique gold instead of silver.
