The floorlamp arrived quickly and for someone who doesn't know how to build anything, it was very easy to assemble. The little glitzy "crystals" are plastic but you can't tell nor does the lamp look cheap. It's beautiful, simple, modern, and sturdy. Also really feminine looking so it was perfect for me :). The cord is clear so it's not so noticeable and simple to wipe down. This a great addition to my room and I am considering ordering the table lamp too. Love it!

This lamp was a little more outrageous than I was looking for, but now it's really grown on me. I love it.

The lamp base and pole are polished chrome. Very flashy and modern looking. The shade is also polished chrome with many plastic crystal beads. It's an extremely unique lamp and looks more expensive than it is.

My only two complaints are: (1) There should be a white inner shade so that you can't see the bulb from the outside. CFL bulbs with the spiral/coil for example don't look very flattering in this lamp. You need to use a CFL with a frosted globe bulb. (2) The crystal beads can easily fall out place if the wire clips bend and slip out. Two of the beads were out when I assembled the lamp and I had to look through the packaging to find what looked like two bent-out-of-shape staples and then bend them back into shape to hold the beads in place.

Still, this lamp is so cool, so unique, and has so much character, that I still think it's a solid purchase overall.

I bought the floor lamp some time ago and now this table lamp. The style is very versatile, the product is heavy and very easy to put together (less than two minutes). I have looked at dozens of different outdoor lamps and I couldn't be happier with my choice. Highly recommend this product!

I previously had bought a set of Uttermost lamps and liked them very much, so when I could use another pair, I looked them up on the net. The lamps that I ordered from Amazon were also very good quality, very solid, nice design. The size was just right and they nicely helped to coordinate the bedroom.

Very very nice product. Quoizel packaged this lamp so that the delivery truck would have to drive over the package to damage it. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the pull chain is not well designed. The chain beads must be pulled through a small hole at an odd angle. Its hard to pull through and I'm sure will break the chain before long.

This is a heavy, well made, beautiful lamp. I expect that from Quoizel, have several throughout my house and they all are well made. This lights up beautifully, love the rich copper colors.

The only negative is the shade is pretty high so i can see the underside of the bulbs at eye level (I think i will look around for non-traditional shaped bulbs) and it lets out too much light at the bottom. BUT, i'm hoping i can solve that problem.

Quoizels are pricey, but so well made. I'm very happy with this one.

Customer Ratings:

This lamp was a pain to put together and stopped working after a month of use. It's cute and great colors. But I'd pass.

lamp arrived in good time, it's brand new and everything. my only complaint was having the push the cord back in through the base when putting it together which was kind of difficult but that's the manufacturer's fault, not the seller. it looks great in our future son's surf theme nursery!

The Lamp is great, although the felt on bottom is not attached so I have a hard time getting it to stick to bumps to not scratch furniture. But otherwise good.

If you have trouble with the lamp going on and off or not working at all, it is most likely NOT SNAPPED IN ALL THE WAY....and they are a real bear to get installed all the way in the socket...Had the same problems with my own lamp till I figured it out.

10,000 hours = 416 days. In other words, more than a year.

I bought this replacement bulb on Oct 6, 2005. Today is the first of Feb. 2006--it died. Assuming that I never turned off the lamp during those 3 months, my math tells me that in order for the bulb to burn out I must have had the lamp on for 111 hours/day for five months. (111 hours x 30 days x 3 months = 9990 hours.) Only, I never quite lived a 111 hour day yet.

If I figure I used the lamp for no more than 6 hrs/day for those 3 months. I only got 540 hours out of it. However you look at it, it seems this bulb missed the mark on the 10,000 in a premature death.

I have had a Grandrich floor lamp for a couple of years. Went through one bulb in that time. The last time it flickered and died, I ordered a replacement bulb from Amazon. That one still didn't work. It turned out to be a bad electrical outlet in my apartment. After the manager replaced the outlet...no problems! I don't want to say that others with bad results had electrical problems, but that was true in my case. I will not hesitate to order replacement bulbs from Amazon.

I was really pleased to find this replacement bulb and at a great price. The light is so natural and I found it lasted as long as the original. I am an avid reader, and I find the light from this 27-watt replacement bulb reduces eyestrain and even helps lift my spirits on dark or rainy days.Grandrich EZ Reader 27-Watt Fluorescent Bulb #PL-27W

I just purchased the CS101 floorlamp for my wife for a Christmas present. The bulb lasted less than 20 hours and the company would not honor the warranty because I bought this light from Amazon. We had this product for less than 2 months as it was a present.

As other reviewers have stated, this is clearly a product with an incorrect description. The lamps I received are black/nickel with silver fabric shades.

Unfortunately I am all but certain that we are incapable of disassembling them and getting them back into the original packaging. I would give the engineers who designed the packaging 5 stars because I could never have imagined fitting everything in that box without damage.

Don't buy these unless you want black/nickel/silver!

People are having an issue with the exact color of these things. I like it more than what they say they are. The picture is a more accurate representation.

As far as quality and functionality go, I love them. Look great, good build, fancy looking, perfect size. As a bonus, the tall lamp post doubles as a Gandalf the Gray staff if you are a LoTR fan. Have fun LARPing in the woods with your friends!

Honest reviews on Hunter Lighting Sperry 3-Lamp Multi-Pack

I got this for a good price and they look nice... Very well packaged and had no problems in regards to damage even though one of the boxes was banged up during shipping...

The only dissapointment is that the screw on nobby to keep the shade on does not catch well and pop off... They could have given a bit longer screws to ensure that they knobby did its job...

Cheap Sylvania 72228 Monavi LED Task Lamp, White Finish

Customer Ratings:

This lamp provides good lighting for tasks such as reading, but has some drawbacks.

PROS:

Controlled by a single touch-sensitive button surface that has no moving parts. Tap once to turn on at full brightness, tap again once or twice for successively lower light levels, a fourth time to turn off.

Light level is very good for spot use. I find it a perfect reading lamp when properly positioned.

Look and feel is not quite as cheesy as some low-end desk lamps/reading lamps.

CONS:

The bulb does not appear to be replaceable. There is no obvious way to do it built into the lamp, and no reference to bulb replacement in the directions. I was also unable to find a replacement lamp on line during a (short) search. When the bulb burns out, this lamp will become landfill. Most LED bulbs claim to have lifetime ratings in the 10,000 to 30,000 hour range, but of the LED bulbs I acquired for use throughout my house over the last year or two, at least three have burned out very early in life. This lamp is made in China, so your mileage may vary.

The lamp angle is adjustable in two places--the joint between the base and the arm, and the joint between the arm and the head. The bad news is that both of these joints require an Allen wrench (supplied) to tighten, which means that once you set it up the way you need it, a tool is required to readjust it later. Small knurled nuts or knobs would have been better.

Price is too high compared to a standard reading lamp, given that this lamp's lifetime is limited to the bulb life.

CONCLUSION

Give this one a pass. Buy a conventional desk lamp or reading lamp that accepts a standard incandescent bulb and has features you like, then use a screw-in LED bulb in place of the regular one. Less money, longer life.

The size is compact and light which is not necessarily a bad thing but the light does not cover much of a working area on my desk. Do not buy it. I didn't return it because I didn't want to wait and shop for another one online. Next time I just go to the store.

This lamp looks better in person than it does in the picture. It has small frosted circles in the body on the lamp that you can't see in the picture. The shade is a two tone material shade that can easily blend with most any decor in your home. The lamp is a heavy sturdy addition to the household. The metal is a polished brass which alleviates the rusting or discoloration from typical brass. After I bought one, I decided to get another one. I get a lot of compliments from it and I absolutely adore it.
