This is a great accent lamp, I use it on top of our intertaiment center, for just a little extra light.

The one thing I really don't care for is the shade, just isn't as nice as I would like it to be, not very well made.

I could not find a replacement shade, so I am struck with this shade.

I'm a Uke player, teacher and fan so was happy to see this cute lamp on Amazon. We needed a lamp to sit on our "back room" piano (as opposed to the living room piano :) so this seemed like a real possibility. I couldn't picture how large it would be and worried about the fit. Too small? Too big? It's perfect. Very cute, even pretty, in a fun, playful way. Very happy with this Ukulele lamp.

I received this lamp today and it is better than I expected. I saw this lamp on another site for almost $100.00, and this Seller offers it for less than $50.00, with shipping.

It is exactly as shown in the photo, and stands 37 inches tall. The shade has a sheer pleated fabric covering, which is enhanced with the gold trim.

I am very pleased with this lamp, and it is very securely packaged.

I ended up -to amazon's credit -having to get 5 of these shipped to me to get two that were un-damaged. The product comes in it's original box, so it's not the seller/shippers fault, it's just very poorly designed to safely ship the lamp.

Once I actually managed to get two of them that weren't damaged, they're pretty nice. For $250 I would have expected a higher quality product, but they look nice even if the workmanship is lacking.

Got this light to go over my kitchen table. It only weights about 8 lbs, so didn't have to worry about being too heavy. Product arrived in fine condition. Light is beutiful and a nice accent. Plenty of color and looks artisan versus mass produced. Installation smooth..really didn't need directions. Took a little while to run wire and ground through each link; also not sure that was in instructions....just take your time and feed through....can barely notice once up. You can adjust chain my simply removing links. I am very happy with this purchase.

The product arrived on time and packaged very well. The glass is as pictured minus that metal rim. It diffuses the light as it is a linen color. It worked well for my ceiling fan, but I still think $48 is steep since tey are very basic.

I love these lamps, however when I bought them I didn't pay attention to the installation set up as they aren't able to be plugged in to an outlet; they are made for am in-wall electrical setup. So unless you're willing to run electrical hook-up up your wall to install or have already had the hook-up preinstalled you will need to install cords yourself (as my husband did) to be able to plug them into the electrical socket.

I really like the wall-mount swing arm lamps I had purchased a pair years previous for our bedroom that did have the electrical cords, which is why I probably didn't pay as much attention when I purchased these.

Pay close attention to the picture of the item... If it has a straight metal piece coming out at the bottom, they are able to be plugged in at a regular wall outlet if there is no straight metal piece then it is made for an electrical wall mount at the installation site. (Live and learn from my mistake!)

The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars, is because the write-up wasn't that clear that the electrical hook-up must be present in the wall at the place of installation.

I like this light very much. It has a great stained glass layout and the green lantern below has a nice glow. Together the light works well for lighting the surface of my desk. Great for reading. Nice ambiant light. The only issue was the visual picture that came as the instructions showed a "neck" for the stained glass shade but there wasn't one included. The 4 metal corners of the base are actually better support for the shade and more stable than other stained glass lights that I have.

This lamp is beautiful and I absolutely love it! For the price this lamp is gorgeous. It looks petite in the picture so make sure you check the dimensions. The green base has a night light inside but you need to buy two 60 watt bulbs for the top. I use the 13 watt (60 watt equal) curly cue bulbs and they work and look great.

It assembles in only a few minutes. It does have a little stem that goes from the top to the inside that holds the shade in place. Grab it while you can. I have not seen this lamp anywhere else but here at Amazon. The dragonflies look very cool when lit. There red eyes light up, very cool. The two lights at the top can be pull chained separately if you want a dimmer look. Shipping was fast and packaging was perfect, although the styro foam will make a mess so get your vacuum ready.

I bought this lamp from amazon. I received it within a weeks time frame, shipping was free. I have to say that the lamp is incredible, it is such a cool lamp that I have it on my desk. It is enjoyable to look at. I will say the quality isn't the best, but that is made up in the price. Had it been really high quality I would have been paying 4 times the amount paid maybe even more. I do recommend this lamp, you will really enjoy its uniqueness. I love it!

the lamp shade does not sit on the base of the lamp properly, there are four arms the shade rest on but it only sits on three missing the forth one completely causing the shade to sit at an angle also one of the feet is shorter then the others so when you go to turn on the light it whobbles back and fourth,so sorry to say it has to go back. hopefully it's replacement won't have these problems.

I used this to replace the failed socket in an older lamp of mine. It operates exactly as the one in my old lamp did. I am so glad I could find it here on Amazon and get it so cheaply. It has been working perfectly for months now and is an easy to use variable dimmer, so I can barely turn it on and not wake up my wife if I need the extra light late at night or early in the morning.

Great product! Even though we used a 3-way bulb in the table lamp in the TV room, there are many times, during a movie for example, that we wanted the lighting lower than what the bulb would allow. I knew there had to be a product like this so, after going to numerous big box stores and even two lighting specialty stores and not finding it, I looked on Amazon. Really regret not doing that first because, within a couple of minutes, I had it ordered and, within two days, we received it. It only takes about five minutes to install . We can now have lighting from as dim as a nightlight to as bright as the bulb will go, and anywhere in between! We both highly recommend it!

When I first installed it it worked great with a Philips dimmable LED light.

After a while, it didn't really "dim" the light it was mostly off until the knob was turned almost all the way on.

Finally, it started crackling when it was turning on and would only come on when the knob was all the way on and I had to jiggle it. When I jiggle it, I can smell the arcing. I'm pretty sure the variable resistor has died (I checked the my wiring no shorts and no loose wires...

It's gotten annoying and possibly dangerous time to replace it with something else!

I originally found them in a wholesale electrical supply shop, and had never seen them around in many years. I've installed my new ones on a different pair of lamps. I received these in a timely manner, fine condition. I needed lamps for my bedroom, especially to replace 2 too-small Waterford side lamps. Beautiful, sturdy, glass is perfect condition colors are purples and pinks, with dark and light green leaves. Sounds like other reviewers got a different lamp than I did. Mine's gorgeous and looks like the picture used, except I have no amber leaves mine are all various shades of green. The shape of the shade, all other colors and the base are exactly as shown in photo.

Perhaps there's some variation in individual items shipped, but mine is a lovely purple on the lilac side, like wisteria generally is and looks exactly like the picture. Puts out a decent amount of light for writing/reading in bed with two 13W CFL bulbs.

As for the construction, I have another more expensive Tiffany style lamp I bought years ago that feels the same. I believe this is how leaded glass feels. It's heavy, with visible striations and imperfections. I don't think it's plastic, but I'm no expert. Regardless, it's lovely.

don't let the name "wisteria" fool you; this lamp is blue. true blue, primary blue. it might have a purple glow when lit but it was obvious that the color was wrong so I didn't take it out of the packaging. I only examined the shade but the workmanship seemed sloppy, too--the lead was messy. and it ended up costing me almost $40 to send it back.
