Best Monarch Specialties 4503 Oval Magazine Table w/ Swing Arm Brass Deals

Customer Ratings:

Great, sturdy little table, but lamp shade is cheap plastic. Luckily ,l had a lamp shade that looks great! A 15 to 20 dollar shade at a home improvement store may still make this a good value.

Review of Modern Neocentric 29 1/2-Inch-H Table Lamp

Customer Ratings:

This, imo, is a beautiful lamp, with nice modern/contemporary styling, and with just enough heaviness to make it feel like good quality. I bought it because I like its looks, the modernity of the shape of the shade, and its brushed steel finish. The three way feature is very nice, and it is very easy to put together. The cord is sufficient but could be a bit longer. The only disappointment I have with it, is that it does not have brushed steel finish as stated, but instead a shiny, mirror like chrome finish, which is, although not prohibitive for me in terms of matching my decor, inferior imo to that of brushed steel . This error is made in all representations of this lamp, by the variuous companies that sell it. Just beware of this when considering this lamp for your living or bedroom.

Matches my office of two large screen computers on a large L-shaped glass desk. This lamp's understated profile and slim design, solid construction, and fully flexible led lighting does its job. Now I'm thinking of adding another Koncept Gen 3 Mosso to the other side of my desk--a desk I once believed had no room for a lamp!

This lamp was exactly as described. Quite attractive, well weighted to avoid toppling over. The included shade is a good match. This would be a nice addition to a vacation/coastal home.

This lamp is cute. Perfect for a beach-inspired room, as my bedroom is. Perfect size to sit on my dresser. It is well made, for being from China. The inside of the lampshade is plastic, so use no more than a 40 watt incandescent bulb or a 13 watt max small CFL. It does not have an in-line switch to turn on and off. (I hate those). Delivery was quick. I am very happy with it.

Wish they weren't so expensive however. As I get older I find that I need more light to see things clearly. This produces a very bright white light and remains cool to the touch. I will get more when the price comes down.

It's 50W, a little bright but with front glass it would have been better. Without front glass, I can see the reflection on my glass dining table even without looking at it directly.

Although my lamp shades were broken upon arrival due to poor manfacturers packaging, I still really loved the look and feel of these lamps, so I patiently waited for replacements and now they look fabulous in my living room. I chose them specifically because they are two bulb, pull chain lamps. The balls connected to the pulls are substantial, you feel like you have something in your hand that wont break if you give them a good tug. The look of the lamps will suit many decors, my living room is contemporary, the dominant colors are soft blue, cream, chocolate with pops of a fiery red.

This pair of lamps arrived at my home looking exactly like the photo...they were a holiday gift for my daughter, and they look fabulous on her dresser! They are solid too, not cheap and lightweight like most sold in discount stores.

I just finished unpacking these, plugging them in and putting them on my nightstands and I'm THRILLED with their look. They look and feel far more expensive than they are. They're a great height at 27" and they have real heft to them. I bought mine on sale for $53 plus $21 shipping and they were completely worth it. I'll have these lamps for years. The seller was terrific too. They shipped fast. They packed them so well I got frustrated trying to get the box open. Not a scratch, not a dent. Perfect! The color is exactly as pictured -it's what I'd call metallic -a silvery, pewter-like finish with a hint of gold to it. The photo doesn't do the shades justice. They look much richer in person. They're tan with a black, lightly-embossed, florentine pattern (not flowers). Very modern and contemporary and I can't say enough nice things about these lamps or the seller except to tell you to feel absolutely comfortable buying these. They're really nice :)

When I received these lamps they were in terrible shape... There was some type of thick glue all over one of them... And you can't really tell from the picture but the base has this weird tiger stripe design that does match the shade... I spray painted the whole bottom a metallic silver... They look nice now... But wasnt what I was expecting... However, the seller was excellent and gave me a partial refund

This is a good quality lamp. It is probably a little overpriced but we had to get it to match the other Baby Sam merchandise we bought for the babies room. You can only use up to a 40 watt bulb so this is a good low light source but you probably can't read a book with it. It looks like this lamp will hold up a while.

This lamp looks wonderful and was the perfect piece to complete my daughter's room. Unfortunately, it does not work all the time. We have to turn it off and on several times to hopefully get it to work. There is apparently a short somewhere in it. Not at all the quality I hoped for the price!

The reason for the three stars is because the lamp did not work. I wanted it to work so much I went around the house plugging it in. Amazon is sending a replacement, I have my fingers crossed. Really pretty lamp.

Hubby and I love this little lamp, it's very cute. The light that comes with it is a bit too bright. It is just a little shorter than I expected. Quality is good but I feel like it is priced a little high for what you get. It is just a little extra light for our living room book shelf.

I have looked at this lamp for months perhaps even a couple years. Finally I took the plunge and ordered it. Everything arrived intact. Shade, etc were all in good condition. Still haven't told my husband I bought--and I need some help with the harp on the shade. It will look great in my entryway. Good for me and good for the lamp place!!

I bought two of these for my mother. They're handsome and she likes them. Would have preferred that it be able to handle a 3-way bulb but that's the only complaint.

Review of Ikea Orgel Vreten Floor Lamp, Natural, steel

Customer Ratings:

This lamp is BEAUTIFUL, hands down the best lamp that I've ever owned, and if I had the room for it, I'd have bought two. The light is diffused wonderfully and it gives a soft glow that's easy to read by.

Okay, important info: The lamp will take only B12 or Candelabra Base bulbs. You don't have to buy the Ikea bulbs, but the Ikea bulbs are Compact Florescent Lights and last for a very long time. It'll take any Candelabra Base/B12 bulbs, and I recommend CFLs for their lifespan.

The lamp DOES NOT come with bulbs included, so buy the bulbs with the lamp. It takes 3 bulbs, and it takes 40w bulbs MAXIMUM. That's 7w in CFLs and 40w in incandescent bulbs. I tried 60w-equivalent CFLs and it tripped the breaker when I tried turning it on. Bad idea, but it taught me a valuable lesson about actually paying attention to the maximums.

The lamp takes about 2 minutes to put together, and it comes in a box that you'd think would be entirely too small for it. Leave it to Ikea to fit a 5ft+ tall lamp into a small box.

The lamp has a foot stomp switch to turn it on, but you can plug it into a standard outlet with an on/off switch. It does not work with dimmers, to my knowledge (especially if you have the Ikea CFLs in it).

Again, the lamp is a great addition to my bedroom and I can't recommend it highly enough.

Purchased 2 of these lamps from IKEA @ $20 each (GREAT BUY!). This floor lamp is an excellent addition to ANY room (living room, bed room, dorm rooms). Small footprint. The switch is a step-on switch part of the power cord (convenient). Takes 3 model E12 light bulbs, again IKEA sells a 9W (40W equivalent) 2-pack for $5. I think the floor lamp caps out at 40W max, anything above is probably a fire hazard (i.e. 3 x 100W bulbs isn't recommended). Overall, an excellent buy. Highly recommended!!

Lamp looks good. Ship was fast, however no bulbs were included. I had some regular spare but they wont fit. Special bulbs are needed for this lamp so it is a hassle to find the appropriate type.

Honest reviews on Ikea Orgel Vreten Floor Lamp, Natural, steel

I've had this lamp for over 6 months in our living room. Considering the price, I didn't expect it to be more than mood lighting; but it actually does a great job of filling our small living room with soft, bright light. I bought this at IKEA and bought the recommended light bulbs at the same time. One of the bulb is flickering now (the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5), and I don't know if the problem is the bulb or socket. The paper shade has held up to our cat rubbing on it and pawing at it (declawed). I think children or pets could tear the shade, but so far it's held up and survived a move.

Update: I've had this lamp for 1.5 years so far and give it 5 stars. The flicker stopped, I think we didn't have the bulb in all the way. One of our kittens managed to rip it a tiny bit on one side, but other than that it is still holding up!

I do not live close to a Ikea store..so was so pleased to see this lamp offered on Amazon..

this lamp would look good with any decor..

offers enough light to read by..but no glare, i am thinking about buying a couple more and eliminating a couple end tables.
