Although my lamp shades were broken upon arrival due to poor manfacturers packaging, I still really loved the look and feel of these lamps, so I patiently waited for replacements and now they look fabulous in my living room. I chose them specifically because they are two bulb, pull chain lamps. The balls connected to the pulls are substantial, you feel like you have something in your hand that wont break if you give them a good tug. The look of the lamps will suit many decors, my living room is contemporary, the dominant colors are soft blue, cream, chocolate with pops of a fiery red.
