A 100W equivalent 1520 lumen Xledia diamond cut bulb was too bright as a downlight to replace the 100W equivalent ~1500 lumen CFL, and this 810 lumen bulb gave comparable light despite the lower lumen rating. I guess since such a large percentage of the Xledia diamond cut bulb light heads straight out from the bulb, one can't replace lumen for lumen where the old bulb loses much of the light inside the can. It is short enough that it does not protrude from the can. So far, so good.
