This lamp is cute. Perfect for a beach-inspired room, as my bedroom is. Perfect size to sit on my dresser. It is well made, for being from China. The inside of the lampshade is plastic, so use no more than a 40 watt incandescent bulb or a 13 watt max small CFL. It does not have an in-line switch to turn on and off. (I hate those). Delivery was quick. I am very happy with it.

I purchased two of these lamps from a different site, and they are nice, but they are much larger than I imagined they'd be. If you're thinking about purchasing, be sure to look at the measurements to see how much space they'll use. Also, the finishing on the lamps is not quite as nice as the picture. One of the finials also was not drilled properly the vendor did send a new one. I kept them, but I almost wish I'd sent them back.

My wife and I received the pans in this set for our wedding over 3 years ago. They have been excellent despite very heavy use from us. The non-stick still doesn't stick and there is almost no discoloration. They are very easy to clean because the entire pan is non-stick, not just the inside. The silicon on the handle does an excellent job of protecting your hand from being burnt even at high temperatures.

The only problem we've had is that on a few of the pans the silicon part of the handle came loose. I submitted a request to their customer service department on the web and had brand new pans within a week at no cost to me.

Hot oatmeal can stick to the sides of some pans like concrete. The Anolon 1 1/2 quart saucepan is perfect for two people and is extremely easy to clean. The glass lid allows me to view the erupting oatmeal and turn down the heat before the stove is covered with oatmeal lava.

I purchased the Anolon Advanced cookware set for my wife two years ago and it is still going strong. The non-stick surface is durable and each piece has held up beautifully. I will say, we do not put the pans in the dishwasher. We have only hand wash them so I don't know what the detergent might do to the finish over time. But I will say that I am (and my wife) very happy with the Anolon set and have purchased extra items to add to our cookware arsenal.

I have a large stained glass hanging lamp over our glass dining table which had to be pulled on by a chain to use. Though it's secure in the ceiling, it still made me very nervous pulling the chain while the heavy glass light swayed over the glass table; so the light was rarely turned on. This remote solved the problem! Now the light is turned on with the push of a button! The only drawback is that any time the power flips/glitches, the light comes on. When our power flips/glitches in the middle of the night, the light remains on until morning.

I love this lamp so much. It sparkles like nothing else I've ever seen. It was very easy to put together and adds so much to my bedroom. Downside...the whole frame of the top square part of the lamp is crooked. I was so sad when I realized that. It's basically unfixable. I was not about to undo all my work and send it back when I had already assembled it. Other bad part was...I was missing about 3 of the small wire pieces that holds the crystal strands. I think for that kind of money...a spare strand or two wouldn't be such a bad idea. As my floral wire doesn't look to "classy" as a replacement.

I wanted to create a crystal, chandelier, mirror and lots of lighting look. I couldnt put a chandelier in the bathroom, so I bought a cabinet just high enough that would allow for a nice lamp on top. This looks very nice. It is very nice quality and puts out enough light by itself.

Its bigger than I thought those shades are the size of basketballs. It comes wired with a 6 foot brown cord that I had to replace as mine needs to be moved frequently. Re-wiring it was a chore you MUST think through the steps >3x before trying. Its also very light maybe 4 pounds total (with bulbs!). Its brass-colored "chrome-plated" aluminum arrived clean and unscratched and looks good. The color of the shades is a nice dark 'burgundy'. I was not planning to keep it suspended over my dining room table (poker tournament central) but it looks good against the green poker mat so it is staying. Worth the price.

This lamp is really nice! It uses one bulb (60 watt or less -another reviewer was uncertain about this point) and it provides a very nice illumination. Not by any means a bright reading lamp, but just a nice touch of lighting in the corner. The shade is ivory fabric -what the product description inexplicably calls an "off white finish." What I would personally call the "finish" are the dramatic black metal bands. Because it's a Japanese style (clean lines, easy on the eye) it goes great with contemporary decor. All in all a very nice lamp and I'm glad I ordered one.

This lamp looks really nice and not cheap at all. I guess I'm just a bit disappointed with the lighting quality. I guess I didn't realize it only held one 60-watt bulb, which really only dimly lights up the bottom half of the entire lamp. Definitely use this for ambient or mood lighting, but if you're looking for a lamp that's not super bright, but still functional for a larger room, I'd pass on this one.

I bought this lamp for my room. It's more of an ambient light, but it does the trick. Originally I thought it was going to be too short, but it ended up being just the right size. The only thing I'd look out for, is it only has 3 legs. So if you have pets or children that are always running into things. I might not recommend it.

This lamp is made in China, FYI. In any case, it is very well packed. I had no damage at all. Unpacking was easy. The top shade is in a separate plastic bag than the base. Taking it out I noticed that it was covered in oil of some kind. I can't say it was dripping with it but it was definitely covered in it. I point this out as it will make the shade very slippery. I would not advise dropping this shade. It is extremely delicate and sort of bends easily. The lamp base seems pretty sturdy.

The base has four projecting arms. You are supposed to fit the shade inside the arms; each arm has a little phlange that holds the shade in place. You have to very delicately bend the shade slightly to fit it inside the phlanges. If you put too much pressure you might crack the shade. The shade is held together by tiny joints of copper and seems very easily destroyed. I would not recommned this lamp for households with children. If it gets bumped, say goodbye.

I wiped off a lot of the oil from the shade but it is still oily to the touch. I am very reticent to bathe it or try to clean it aggressively. Seems like if you apply too much pressure you'll destroy it.

Simply stunning. It has a switch on the lamp cord and pull chains as well. I would recommend using the circular switch and avoid sticking hands into the shade. Too easy to damage. Would be hard to fix if not impossible.

Not only unusual in design and color, these lamps are very beautiful. Unlit the lamp glass colors are muted bronzes, deep deep red, gold/yellow highlights. When lit, they come alive with shades of deep red with gold/yellow highlights. The lead holding everything together is a muted black. The framing is a bronzed metal. They make a statement on their own. I paired mine with mission style end tables, console table and coffee table and a huge sectional couch. The lamps are big.... big shade and big base. They are 25" tall from base to top of shade and the shade is 17" square. Any cut glass tiffany/mission style lamp will be somewhat fragile due to the way they are made. The base of these lamps are very sturdy while the shade is somewhat fragile when not sitting in it's frame on the base. So, a little care when unpacking and placing the shade on the base is warranted. They are packed well and instructions are not needed to set up. Any instructions provided are useless as they describe another type of lamp. The night light inside the base comes with the bulb, with no clear way of replacing the bulb. I believe access is obtained through the bottom of the lamp under the felt bottom, which would have to be removed in order to access the light inside.

I was elated when this arrived. Lovely decadent color and arrived 2 days before earliest delivery date. However the instructions are one page that is a photocopy of one image. No words. It shows my being able to detach the base from the bottom of the lamp base in order to install bulbs in the body of the lamp. When I looked at the bottom of the lamp there is beautiful black felt covering the base, no screws exposed for me to unfasten. Do I rip this open? Yipes! I REALLY don't want to do that. It says lights bulbs are included but none were in any of the packaging or screwed into the lamp already. I scoured the packaging and no bulbs. I am over all pleased and am becoming more and more concerned that this lamp will work at all.

Shipment of this lamp came within the week. The shipping box was damaged in two areas--actual torn holes, but the lamp was unharmed. One of the bronze arms was bent almost straight up making it much higher than the other three and putting on the shade impossible. Fortunately, we were able to "very carefully" bend the prong down so that all four prongs were level (otherwise, we would have had no choice but to return it). There was a bulb in the base (night light), but not any others (no problem). There were no instructions inside the box so we have no idea how to replace the night light when it goes out. I am hoping that instructions to do so are available. As for the lamp, it is absolutely stunning!!!!! Beautiful!!!! We are very happy with the purchase.
