Love the hanging crystal look with the acrylic price tag! Adorable lamp for my entrance foyer. Shade looks black when the light is off, but once lit turns the color in the picture. I'm not complaining though, I still absolutley love it!

Review of Artcraft Lighting AC1496 Orlando 4-Lite Chain Pendant Light

Customer Ratings:

I should have replaced old lighting years ago. This one installed over dining room table has four bulbs and makes so much

difference in the appearance of the whole room. One of my friends (we are all in our eighties)says the style is reminiscent

of the 50's "Modern" look. Whatever, I am very pleased with it but from the ooows and awwws from friends I hope I don't have to

look at the same light in thier house since everyone asks where I got it, and of course I wouldn't lie to them.

This lamp looks wonderful over my dining room table. The light isn't too bright, but makes all the difference. The only complaint I have is that there is a piece shown in the directions for installation that isn't included. My handyman was able to bend the chain to make it work anyway.

Blue and White Porcelain Temple Jar Table Lamp Review

I think this lamp was a great value for the price. It looks much more expensive than it was. Great buy.

I will continue to use this company.

I purchased two of these lamps for a bedroom. The lamps arrived sooner than promised, well packed and sent via FedX. The lamps are beautiful. I'm very happy with them, however, I agree with the other reviewers regarding the shades. The ones that came with the lamps look cheap. I changed out the shades and am now completely happy with my purchase. The blue color is lighter than pictured, which I like as it makes the lamp look more expensive.

Honest reviews on Blue and White Porcelain Temple Jar Table Lamp

It isn't as nice as I hoped, but the price is pretty moderate, too. I am a sucker for blue and white procelain ware, although the quality is close to stoneware on this one. It is full size, takes up to a 150 watt bulb, but is not a three-way switch type. I may replace the shade, it is pretty average looking and a better looking shade would make a real difference. It works perfectly for where I needed it. It shipped and delivered promptly and was undamaged. You can take it right out of the box and use it, so overall, I would recommend it. It is a very good price for what it is.

Loved these lamps.

They were even nicer than expected with one exception....the shades. The shades are too stark white and cast a very cold light. I prefer a softer glow than these shades give. I liked the lamps too much to return them for that reason alone, so I exchanged the shades with the lamps I had been using in that room since they cast a warmer light. I would definitely recommend these beautiful lamps, especially to anyone who has other blue and white deco items to compliment.

They arrived even sooner then expected and were packed extremely well.

I guess for $50 you get what you pay for. A basic small table lamp with a clean design. What bothers me is the shade does not screw atop the bulb holder...it just sits there and seems kind of poorly designed or better designed to be as cheap to make as possible. This lamp is replacing one from Ikea that I liked better in terms of style and quality finish but the switch went after two years and wasn't worth repairing. The Ikea lamp was actually a few dollars cheaper.

Let's see how long this one lasts.

If you are looking for something a little more finished (like all parts screw together securing shade and lamp) pass on this choice.

I was loooking for a cordless portable desk lamp of some sort, and everything I was finding was either to small, too short, or way to expensive. I came across this lamp, and it was everything I wanted. High enough, cordless and portable..everthing I wanted with the extra bonus of having the ability to plug into your PC VIA a USB plug. The light is perfect for your eyes as well.

Best Airswitch TC Interactive Lamp by Mathmos - White Deals

Customer Ratings:

All Mathmos stuff is cool. This is a very handy lamp that you turn on and off by waving your hand above it. Its one fault is that it fails to "on" in the case of a power outage. It dims by raising and lowering your hand over it.

Customer Ratings:

Awesome light from a great company. Very well built and super bright! Can't beat the price for the quality and what this light can do!

The Tornado 7 packs a big punch for the price. I paid just under $400 for the pair from Off The Grid Sound & Lighting. Each function works, and the 10w LEDs are very bright. The stepper motor is a little bit jerky, but barely noticeable. For $200/fixture, what do you expect? Each function you select on the menu takes 7-8 seconds to take effect, so don't get discouraged when you select something and the light doesn't respond rite away.

Each light came with a mounting bracket, easy to read instructions & an AC power cord.

Overall I'm satisfied with my purchase and plan to add 2-6 more to my lighting inventory.

i was looking for something that would replace my regular reading lamp that i use with my computer. my regular lamp has a 40 watt incandescent bulb which does a nice job of providing the basic illumination i need for my keyboard and any written material i am using. this lamp throws a much more focused very white with green tinge light typical of an LED type lamp. since this lamp is expensive i was optimistic that i would be getting perhaps one of the newer and brighter LED lamps perhaps with the color compensation. i will say the product appears to be one of the better quality china made products but the light aspect is lacking. it might be good for a workbench where you need a focused light for some project but it will not replace a regular desk lamp.

Make sure you measure carefully before you buy this lamp the shade is HUGE. I had to return it. Also the listing says distressed black base I believe but it is NOT distressed. It is a smooth and shiny black which gives it a more transitional bordering on contemporary look, rather than traditional. It really is a beautiful lamp and great quality, but it just didn't work in my home due to the size.

This lamp is absolutely beautiful from the finish to the quality of the lamp. I purchased it after searching for over a month to get a lamp that would blend with my new oriental cocktail and end tables. My tables are bonded black leather with wonderful etchings of painted scenes in gold and muted red tones of women and men pushing carts, etc. To see it is to love it!

Battery Operated LED Hurricane Lamp with Frosted Glass Vase Review

The package arrived, VERY securely packaged. I was very impressed with the packaging the vendor did (wasn't shipped by amazon). Although packaged to protect against any external impact, sadly nothing could help with the shoddy battery cover the product has.

As soon as I opened the cover, I knew there was going to be a problem. The cover has two flimsy/thin tabs that have to secure the battery plate over the batteries. When I say thin, I mean THIN; I could probably snap one off with very little pressure from my fingers. The thin tabs just leads to a series of problems. When you insert the batteries (size C), they do not lay flat in the enclosure, but rather are dropped down into the cylinder. Once the batteries are inside the enclosure, they do not lay flat, but rather have a spring to them (if that makes sense), so, basically, the battery cover has to be pushed down on an opposing force, while at the same time you have to get the flimsy tabs hooked under the lip of the opening, which by the way is a funky shape (triangle like). Needless to say, one of the little tabs broke off seconds after attempting to close it, and I was being VERY gentle. This probably would not be a problem, but the cover also has a metal connector needed to complete the battery charge/contact. With one of the little tabs missing, the cap could not make the contact to power on, because the batteries continue to push outward. Tape will not keep the cover in place (there is that much spring to the batteries), instead I had to resort to putting aluminum foil inside, between the cover and batteries, fortunately, the little clip that locks the cover still worked. So, with the aluminum foil and the weight of the light unit once it is placed on the metal plate/base, the thing works.

A brand new product rigged to work, is a little disappointing to say the least. I did not contact the seller regarding the problem and it was not worth shipping back, cost wise. Other than the cheap construction of a vital piece, I really love the look of this product. The hurricane frosted glass is delicate, but not super thin/fragile and the base is very nice. I purchased it for our tiny bathroom at the office and it really adds a nice warm touch to the otherwise drab room.

Would I buy the product again? Probably not. I think I could buy the individual pieces locally and get the same effect at the same cost (probably less) without the hassle of a damaged battery enclosure.

This item, while attractive, is not what it appears to be. The flickering light, is non-existant in the day time, and not much to look at with the room in total darkness. While the bulbs last for thousands of hours, you can not see them. I will not send it back, as there is a shipping fee of $8.00, plus a 20% re-stocking fee by the seller. It's not worth it.

I purchased this lamp for my wife's spinet sized piano. The two adjustment points on the stand make it easy to get the perfect lighting on the music. The base is very solid and easily supports the light in any position.

Purchased this to replace a very old brass piano lamp for my Kimball upright piano. I wanted something that looked nicer than the old shiny brass one I had, and I wanted it to be sturdy as well. This lamp is perfect!

Upon seeing it I was worried at first it wouldn't be solid due to the small base. I was wrong. This lamp is very solid, and it is beautiful. Looks elegant sitting on my piano and goes well with all my furniture. The chestnut bronze color has a slight dark coppery tone to it, so I was worried it would not go with some of my wood furniture. However, it actually blends in with everything. The antique brass blends in with the handles on my piano lid.

Description was accurate. Shipped very well padded. I hesitated to spend that much on a piano lamp, but now I am so glad I did. Really makes the piano and the rest of the room look so much more elegant.

Worth the price!!

I wanted something to replace a competing lamp that clipped on the music holder of my baby grand piano. The clip on lamp was simply subpar. It also wasn't very attractive. This is a beautiful lamp with a solid heavy base and clamps that easily facilitate adjusting this lamp to bridge the gap between the lid and the sheet music holder to beautifully illuminate your sheet music as long as it's sitting on the closed cover.

If you keep the piano cover up, this won't do for you, in which case you'll need to explore cantalevered floor lamps or the clip ons.

Since the lid on our piano is never up (too loud for our taste), the House of Troy offering fits us like a glove. The 60 watt bulbs (purchased separately) are very bright. I prefer this (older eyes), but you may want to try the 40 watt bulbs if you prefer a softer glow over a brilliant light.

Honest reviews on House of Troy P14-233-C71 16-1/2-Inch Portable Desk/Piano Lamp

This lamp is beautiful, heavy and solid looking. We recently invested in a $7000+ piano and spending this amount of money on a lamp was a necessary investment. Heavy base and very attractive. Make sure to buy with the lightbulbs though! We got it set up, but couldn't use right away because we didn't have the right bulbs!!!
