I purchased two of these lamps for a bedroom. The lamps arrived sooner than promised, well packed and sent via FedX. The lamps are beautiful. I'm very happy with them, however, I agree with the other reviewers regarding the shades. The ones that came with the lamps look cheap. I changed out the shades and am now completely happy with my purchase. The blue color is lighter than pictured, which I like as it makes the lamp look more expensive.

It isn't as nice as I hoped, but the price is pretty moderate, too. I am a sucker for blue and white procelain ware, although the quality is close to stoneware on this one. It is full size, takes up to a 150 watt bulb, but is not a three-way switch type. I may replace the shade, it is pretty average looking and a better looking shade would make a real difference. It works perfectly for where I needed it. It shipped and delivered promptly and was undamaged. You can take it right out of the box and use it, so overall, I would recommend it. It is a very good price for what it is.

Loved these lamps.

They were even nicer than expected with one exception....the shades. The shades are too stark white and cast a very cold light. I prefer a softer glow than these shades give. I liked the lamps too much to return them for that reason alone, so I exchanged the shades with the lamps I had been using in that room since they cast a warmer light. I would definitely recommend these beautiful lamps, especially to anyone who has other blue and white deco items to compliment.

They arrived even sooner then expected and were packed extremely well.

Let's keep it simple. My lamp arrived with a broken shade. It actually took me a day or two to figure that out. I thought it was me attaching the shade crooked. I had thrown away all packaging a was going to just purchase a new shade in the stores here. Not going well at all. Couldn't find one to fit. Finally I contacted Amazon (my favorite people) just to tell of my issue not even looking for help since I couldn't return lamp in original box.I just wanted to be heard. A few days ago I received a brand new lamp shade. There are other issues with this lamp,the stem isn't straight which gives the shade a slightly lop-sided appearance and the bottom is supposed to be wood. Hmmm ,not too sure. There are chips where metal and wood(?) meet. Fine black marker will hide that. So ,in saying all of this I must say that nothing is 100% perfect. If you look closely enough you"ll find imperfections. Just wish someone would take a look at what they are shipping. saves time and money. I still like the looks of this lamp.Wish I had two . Not willing to risk another disappointment.

This floor lamp is neat and different....the metal base is pretty heavy and very sturdy....lamp shade is a really nice shade of cinnamon.....it's lower than most floor lamps....so if it's for that perfect spot.... .keep that in mind....for me though it works ! I did have to return first purchase ...the shade had a lot of pulls in the material and the wiring was bent....the return was painless though and the new one that was sent was just fine

Rust-Oleum 7983955 Antique Pewter kit

Was going to use this kit to refinish a polished brass hanging lamp. Before doing so, I tried it out on a couple of samples one was smooth the other had raised designs. The spray (Base) coat produced a nice smooth polished appearance on both samples. After the base coat dried (following the package instructions) and rubbing both samples with the sanding pad, the top coat was applied with a brush and wiped to produce the "desired" finish. The raised design sample produced an acceptable finish in that the top coat remained in the grooves as the highlights were wiped thereby accentuating the design. However, the smooth sample retained obvious streaks and did not provide an appealing surface finish. Since the lamp was primarily made of smooth surfaces, I did not use this refinishing kit.

In reviewing the product box, it is noted that all of the sample photographs are of uneven surfaces and complex designs perhaps this should have been an alert that this product is not suitable for smooth surfaces.

I deal with stained glass, and normally we use patina (liquid acid) to change the color of metal to what we need. I was dealing with a lamp repair that did not use patina, but rather a paint. The lamp was a $2500 all clear bevel lamp by Fredrick Ramond, and I had to match the color of the metal as I was only doing a repair on the lamp, and there was a matching set of four total. I did not use the copper base on this project, but did test it out to see how it would like, and it looked exactly like the picture on the box shows. The green was slightly off from the color I was trying to match, but blended very well.

If you are trying to get the antique look of copper, this is the product to use. The instructions were straight forward, and the paint looks exactly like it should if you follow them.

I've been looking for a long time for the right bedside lamp and hesitated due to the cost, but after trying other options, found nothing else fit the bill. I wanted an adjustable LED lamp of good brightness that had sufficient reach in height and extendability. This is a very long lamp that is amazingly adjustable and really did the trick. The light quality is lovely. It's more than bright enough for reading in bed, and the directionality of the LEDs minimizes spillover to anyone who might be beside you. Even extended, the lamp holds its position nicely, and thanks to the clamp-on option, takes up next to no room on the bedside table.

The Bulbrite (this lamp) does not compare to this Lightblade.Lightblade 1500 by Lumiy / Diasonic Black LED Desk Light Table Lamp

You can change the brightness and warmth, by using an ipod like circle but the circle does not allow me to turn it off that way so it is frustrating.

I thought this Bulbrite would have a row of lights under the arm, similar to the Lightblade, but it is just one light at the end of the arm, and it does not spread light across my work area like I had hoped. It also does not get as bright as the Lightblade. That may not have been an issue but since I have them side by side I like the options of the Lightblade more.

The body of this unit has a light and cheap plastic feel. Not sure how the $80 price can be justified.

Since the price on this is pretty high, I would expect more from it and so I only give it 3 stars. If it were $25, then I would give it 5 stars.

What a perfect light. Reading or night light and everything in between. Swyvel it down for a nice reflection off the wall or tilt up for reading and other tasks. The touch sensitive switch in the base is very intuitive and easily actuated.

I highly recommend this product. It's both stylish and functional.

I'm using it as a table lamp in my bedroom, and wanted something sleek, energy efficient, dimmable (nice bright light when full on) I got it all, it's pricey alright, but I'm really happy with my purchase, seems sturdy, couple of cons: the base plastic surface is a fingerprint magnet, but not such a big deal for me, I would have liked the switch lights to be probably blue (they're red), but the switch is nice and very responsive, design wise is very nice looking, swivels nicely, haven't tried out the USB port, but is a nice addition to help unclutter my table and free up an outlet, really satisfied with this lamp

Although it is undeniably pretty, this light was not nearly as big as I expected. The shade is shaped more like a plate than a bowl. It would be o.k. for a smaller area but not what I was looking for to fill the space over my dining room table. One of the amber pendants was broken when I unpacked it. I had to super glue it back together. It's a little challenging to assemble as well. I'll keep it but I wouldn't buy it again for the price.

The "arms" that you connect were not uniform, requiring some work arounds, and the end result is that all but one are crooked. It's not glaringly noticeable, and having already paid a restocking fee on a similar light that had a stripped screw hole, I just decided to make this one work. But it's disappointing to not have it be perfect.

We ordered 2 of these lamps, the shipping speed and shipping packaging were very good. We set up and plugged in the first lamp and it worked as advertised. It is a very nice lamp.

We opened the package for the second lamp and one of the glass panels that goes in the lampshade was shattered....returned it to Amazon and asked for a replacement. Amazon sent it with one day shiping. We set up replacement #1, plugged it in, tested it, everything worked fine.....not exactly. After it was plugged in for about 5 minutes, we realized it was posessed because it started turning itself on and off rapidly. We unplugged it a couple of times, moved it to different location.....still had a life of it's own......So we returned it and asked for another replacement.

We received the same excellent replacement service for replacement #2, opened the box, inspected, and found one of the wires that hold a glass panel on the shade is broken. We have given up and have returned the lamp and asked for a refund. We really like the look and operation of the first lamp , but figured having two of them was not meant to be!

I thought it would be a little bigger, and I didn't realize assembly was required. If choosing again I might select a different model. However (where IS the comma on this Kindle Fire?) We like it well enough that we bought its mate for the other nightstand. For a lamp you may need in the middle of the night the "touch" feature is highly recommended.

Edit: I bought this item twice, once thru Amazon.com and once thru PERFECT HOME STATION. The latter vendor offended me by emailing me four times and phonlng me once, to try to get me to change my seller feedback, offering me 10% back as an incentive. I had rated them 3 out of 5 stars and left comment "Acceptable service" but their delivery was in fact a little slow (but acceptable). Do not patronize this vendor! I was particularly angry that they used my phone number, not to ensure better service but to try to bribe me for a better rating. I don't think that's an approved use in Amazon's Terms of Service or privacy policy!

I bought this for my Mother who is elderly and has arthritis that has caused her fingers to become deformed. She loves that she can just touch the base of the lamp with her knuckle to turn it on and off since it is very diffucult for her to turn the small knobs of regular lamps. The lamp has three intensity settings, with the brightest at 40 watts. She also likes the look of the lamp, she has it placed on the end table by her chair. In the near future I will buy her a lamp that can accomodate a brighter wattage so that she may read or do whatever, then she can place this lamp on her nightstand.

After about a year use both lamps are now defective. The only way to turn one them off is to unplug it. The other wont come on at all. I would give them one star mow
