Although it is undeniably pretty, this light was not nearly as big as I expected. The shade is shaped more like a plate than a bowl. It would be o.k. for a smaller area but not what I was looking for to fill the space over my dining room table. One of the amber pendants was broken when I unpacked it. I had to super glue it back together. It's a little challenging to assemble as well. I'll keep it but I wouldn't buy it again for the price.

The "arms" that you connect were not uniform, requiring some work arounds, and the end result is that all but one are crooked. It's not glaringly noticeable, and having already paid a restocking fee on a similar light that had a stripped screw hole, I just decided to make this one work. But it's disappointing to not have it be perfect.
