Ordered this right before hurricane Irene might be approaching. It is awesome as an alternate flashlight and creates a very nice ambient light in the evening in a darkened room just watching TV for example. No batteries ever and under $6.00, a must have for any savvy homeowner.

I ordered one a few months ago and it didn't work, then i got a replacement and this one doesn't work not sure why. I sat it in the sunlight, did everything the instructions said and nothing.

This light, and another design, are great because you have a fairly useful LED within reach for little needs. The light is not that powerful. I placed both the lights on the windowsill. Next time there's a power outage, I am ready with just the power of the sun.
