This is a great accent lamp, I use it on top of our intertaiment center, for just a little extra light.

The one thing I really don't care for is the shade, just isn't as nice as I would like it to be, not very well made.

I could not find a replacement shade, so I am struck with this shade.

I really like my lamp shade. I have it on a green base. It came with more yellow than the picture, but since my room is yellow and green, it was fine where I have it. The picture though shows more green than what mine is. I am however, happy with this item.

This swing-arm wall lamp is my hardest working lamp. I purchased it more than a year ago.

I have it located in my dressing area outside my closet. When combing my hair, I have the light directed towards the ceiling, providing indirect lighting. As I select my clothes each morning, I then move the light so I can shine it into my closet. As I spot dirty clothes, etc, I extend the arm and rotate the head to shine right on whatever I'm looking at. Every day I'm moving the light around, making it work for me. It has really stood up to the challenge.

The "aged copper" finish is probably more of an "oil rubbed bronze", but there is a tiny hint of copper-orange in the finish.

So I'm looking to purchase another of these lamps to mount over my desk... (as I write, the website says it's on backorder...)

I did some price comparisons, and I found similar products priced twice as much. This swing-arm wall lamp is an excellent product for a very reasonable price.

For a 4 pack, it was a good price. A bit less wattage than my last bulb I bought locally. These are very bright in the bedroom. I am more used to the warmer yellow light, but these are less intense than my bluer 100 watt equivalent. Only 5000k instead of the 5300k 100 watt bulb. So, it is daylight in my bedroom.

If you had a 4 day power outage, you could use these with a small 12v inverter and a 100ah battery set up and have great light. Only 2.5amps plus .5amp for your inverter. So only 3amps. Run 5 hrs a night would last about 5-6 nights. Longer if you used it sparingly. So they would last longer than an incandescent bulb. A 125watt bulb would be slightly over 10amps, and would last less than 10 hours or 2 nights at 5 hours per night. It would light your living room, or dining room/kitchen like daylight. You could play cards, read a book, or anything. With a solar charger you could charge the battery up during the day, as after a storm the weather generally clears. You'd be glad to have economical and bright bulbs.

I'm very disappointed with this lamp. The description states that the shade is "Art Glass", but it is plastic, and there were chips and scratches on the plastic shade. The Knurl Nut (shade post) screwed out of the Harp (shade holder) the first time I detached the shade. The lamp is made in China; not stated in the description. I paid $79.20; not worth it.

I needed an extra little light in my bookshelf and this little lamp fit perfectly. It is very high quality with excellent workmanship and detail. It is beautiful when lit up. This is my third Dale Tiffany lamp and I love them all.

I really like this product. It looks very classy. The one thing you need to be aware is that it is smaller than your standard mini lamp. Very high quality design and materials. Feels light yet very sturdy. The art glass shade is beautiful and it looks great on a small mail stand in my foyer. I will start with my only con. The color of the panes on the edges of the lamp that I received is a quite bit darker blue and not the very pale blue pictured so minus 1 star. When lit the color lightens, however. Overall, very beautiful coloring and design regardless, and many kudos and thx to the lady who labored in China for her artistry and capturing the aura of peace and tranquility. The base is very solid and detailed. The item was received quickly and safely although the styrofoam was not taped together well. The lamp is small in stature and keep that in mind for the location intended, but I plan to buy a few more in different varieties. It does not bother me in the least that I did not spend $1500 for a Tiffany lamp and the glass is perfect...ignore the comment about cheap plastic...not so, and more likey a sign of inner negativity.

Our guest room still had a 1980's model television armour, a big ugly thing that was so dated it was embarrassing. The room had an empty corner that was the perfect spot for a large tv.

This was a nice simple solution. It is unobtrusive and practical and holds a 42 inch television nicely. I would not recommend any larger television for this or it's not only going to overwhelm this tv stand, but the set will be too wide to fit into the 90 degree corner of a room. This is attractive and I like the frosted glass shelves. Although this is almost four feet wide across the front edge, the glass shelves lighten the whole thing up consisderably and make it less obtrusive than if it had solid shelves.

This is a sturdy well made piece. I feel the price is about right that it is offered at here. It's reasonably attractive. A 42 inch set looks just right and this is a nice change of pace from the old armour it replaces. I can't think of any negatives about this.

Just to give a warning to people who like their lamps put all together when they get them, they are not put together. You have to screw the glass pieces in one by one into the top lamp part and then screw the rest together etc. That was the only bummer on this lamp. Other then that? It's beautiful! It fits perfectly into what I wanted and the picture was very pretty!

I was disappointed. The lamp arrived almost two weeks after the estimated latest date, because of a long delay where it presumably sat at the distributor's location. Once it shipped, it reached me too late for the birthday I had intended it for. Assembly was also difficult, as it appeared to have several pieces that were misshapen. I had to use pliers to reallign several of the metal fasteners. And, speaking of assembly, expect a lot of it. The lamp arrived with EVERYTHING separated. Finally, the seller's name is stamped across each pane of the decorative glass. Yes, beneath each pretty picture, "OK LIGHTING" is prominently displayed. Which sort of sums up the item--not great, not even good. Just barely "okay."

Lumian Design LED Desk Light (built-in night light) Reviews

This is an extremely beautiful lamp. Even the box containing it had an elegant shape, and I was really excited to open it when I saw the slim figure of the lamp. However, two fundamental problems exist.

First, the light is not bright enough. This wouldn't be much of the trouble if you can better adjust the angle; however, as I will mention below, it does not fully cover the big textbook. Second, which relates to the first problem, is that you can't adjust the angle of the light. You can only vertically lift the neck from 0 degree angle to up; you can't twist it left or right. You might have the same urge as I did to breake it a bit to better light the book...

The switch to turn it on/off is another disappointment as well, as it feels fragile and cheaply made. I am probably going to keep this as I already have another lamp, but serioously consider the brightness issue plus its angle problem before you buy it.

Experience:

As a college student, this is a great lamp especially if you have little desk space and poor lighting. The awesome feature about this lamp is that is can fold down when you are not using it and takes up a small corner of your desk. It seems people have been stressing the lamp brightness (or lack thereof) which made me hesitant in buying this at first, but there are no problems with brightness. I actually think anything brighter would hurt my eyes. It does get pretty warm when on for an extensive period of time, but I wouldn't really say it gets hot.

Night Light:

It's like a bonus. Just don't get this lamp exclusively for its night light feature. It helps when you're watching a movie on the computer and you still want to see the keyboard to chat or something.

Look and Feel:

The matte texture of the neck and stand is finely grained (for those of you who own a Playstation 2 or 3, it feels like that), and the head is a glossy black. A pretty minimalist and modern design--it looks very professional.

Pros:

-The light is diffused uniformly unlike other LED lamps with a cone of light.

-Low-profile and detachable power cord. It resembles a phone charger.

-Decent price. Although it looks like the price went up a little since I bought it, if you're looking for a good quality LED lamp (especially on Amazon) for a good price, this might be your best bet. Lamps are expensive ):

Possible Cons:

-When opening and folding the lamp, it may be a little stiff.

-For some reason the power cord plugs into the top-back of the lamp. The cord can be tucked behind the neck.

-Which brings up another con: the back of the neck is open/hollow. This makes the lamp in the picture look nicer than it really is, but don't get me wrong, its a nice lamp and the plastic is thick.

This is an elegant LED lamp with a beautifully curved neck that resembles a swan. I like that instead of using several high powered large LEDs like the Z-bar, they opted for clusters of smaller low powered LEDs that offers the same overall brightness. This allows the lamp to deliver a uniform light without bright spots, and run cooler thus less energy being wasted to heat, a true green product at heart!

They have also added several minute nuances such as the dimmer night light, ruff surface on the base to avoid unwanted light reflection into the eye, and Apple-esque finish on the lamp head which in my opinion, projects the product to a new level of completeness not often seen in an emerging product.

If you are going to own any green product, this would definitely be the one to own.

This is a terrific lamp! I like the modern look and its light is extremely focused for reading. That means I can sneak downstairs at night and read without disturbing my dogs who enjoy sleeping in the dark family room! I also like the way this lamp's head folds down for storage. The folding design makes it smaller and seems to help protect the light from damage.
