Its bigger than I thought those shades are the size of basketballs. It comes wired with a 6 foot brown cord that I had to replace as mine needs to be moved frequently. Re-wiring it was a chore you MUST think through the steps >3x before trying. Its also very light maybe 4 pounds total (with bulbs!). Its brass-colored "chrome-plated" aluminum arrived clean and unscratched and looks good. The color of the shades is a nice dark 'burgundy'. I was not planning to keep it suspended over my dining room table (poker tournament central) but it looks good against the green poker mat so it is staying. Worth the price.
