This is a cute little lamp, perfect for my nightstand. I like the fact that it's small, and especially the fact that the base is pretty tiny (but not too much, so that it would tip over). If you have several items on your nightstand, as I do (tissues, clock, candles, photo, reading glasses, book, etc), the smaller size of this lamp is a definite advantage just in terms of saving space. It's also very attractive (I have a lot of chrome and blue in my room), and I don't mind the switch being on the cord. In fact, it's probably better with a lamp of this size. Finally, my main concern was that it would be too dim, since it is small and the shade is a pretty dark color. But using a 60 watt bulb puts out plenty of light...enough to read by at night with no other lights on. And you can't beat the price!

This is a nice, little, sophisticated bedside lamp. It's not big enough in my opinion to be a table lamp. I wasn't paying attention to what kind of bulb it needed. I should have ordered bulbs for it, but I totally spaced out on the fact that this needs a candelabra bulb. It's no big deal, though. It looks nice on the nightstand. It may just be my monitor settings or something, but the promo picture makes this look a little purple. My own photo isn't true to the color, either, It really is a deep, dark navy blue, which is exactly what I wanted. I don't like the switch on the cord. I prefer to have on/off on the lamp itself, but this was more for decorative purposes and not for everyday use. A good value on a good lamp.

The lamp is unisex and can work with any decour. Arrived within two days of purchase via USPS. It weighs next to nothing but is not flimsy. The round steele color base has it standing firmly and surely. The shade is a dark navy fabric with just a hint of deep purple. It takes a tiny 7W bulb which illumites a small area but gives the whole room a nice warm dim light. The whole thing is a bit taller than a roll of paper towels. Nice buy for the price.

I bought this for my three year old's bedroom. He has a room with trucks and a lot of blue. I wasn't sure how the color would match the other blue in his room, but it goes great. Just a nice, normal blue. It uses a little light bulb and puts out a decent amount of light for bedtime stories. Perfect and cheap...looks nice and should last a while. :)

Great little lamp! I bought 2 of these, one for each of my son's room. Well one of my sons doesn't mind having it on all night long. He actually likes it better than a night light. My other son thought it was too much light, but he still though the night lights weren't light enough. I ended up putting one of the lamps in the bathroom they share which is connected to both of their bedrooms. So the light is perfect for night time in the bathroom and works well for my younger son in his bedroom. We used an energy saving 25watt equivalent bulb. Just the perfect size for a night stand in a child's room, in a bathroom or on an accent table. Good quality! Great price point!

This is a high quality elegant piano lamp. The 19" light bar provides adequate light for both the music and the keyboard. The LEDs provide a steady cool light which is easy on the eyes, with no flickering shadows or heat buildup that can be produced by incandescent bulbs.

I initially thought that the lamp might be a bit tall for my spinet piano, but the light bar swivels down and back, thereby preventing glare. It is well out of the way of my sheet music, so I now believe that it is a perfect height after all.

I purchased the Conoco 16" LED Console Piano Lamp six weeks ago. It is well designed – sturdy, stable and looks great on my digital piano. The LED bulbs provide excellent light without glare. The light bar is high enough to clear the top of piano books and sheet music. I had originally purchased an LED lamp for half the price, but was disappointed to find that it only lit the upper part of the page. Although it is expensive, I definitely recommend the Conoco PLED 100 lamp because it works!

I was very hesitant to spend so much for a piano lamp. But, I wanted to have a good lamp that will illuminate well. I was not disappointed. Assembly is very simple. The material is high quality. The round base is heavy/sturdy and so it will not topple over. The power cord is long so it can reach a farther outlet than the one where I have my piano plugged into. The row of LED lights are bright and it's great that it does not heat up. I brought a Casio Privia PX-780 digital piano and did not anticipate that the piano depth was only 12 inches so there is really no room behind the music stand to place the lamp. No worries, however...I placed the lamp next to the music stand and the 19" shade swivels in all directions, so I was able to adjust it perfectly so that both the music sheets and the entire keyboard is illuminated. The best lamp I have ever used. It was well worth the extra cost to invest in such a quality lamp. I'm considering purchasing another one to use as a desk lamp.

The first lamp I ordered was the clamp on kind for my Yamaha Piano. It did not fit and Amazon and Conoco promptly processed my return and refund. Conoco suggested this model and it worked perfectly! It is bright, attractive and lights not only the music but the entire keyboard. I liked it so much I purchased the clamp on model for my baby grand in another home. It also worked perfectly. I highly suggest getting the LED models.

I purchased the Conoco 16" LED Console Piano Lamp, what a great investment. It is well designed, sturdy, stable and looks great on my organ. The LED bulbs provide excellent lighting without the glare. The light bar is high enough to clear the top of my music books and sheet music. The width of the light bar is also excellent, wider than most others I have seen. Although it is expensive, I definitely recommend the Conoco PLED 100 lamp because it works great! I liked it so much I had to get another light to put on another organ.

This lamp is quite amazing. The light is very nice. I replaced an old fluorescent bulb lamp whose light irritated my wife to no end. The light from this lamp is very easy on the eyes and great to read to. There are about five different light settings which vary widely. I haven't played with these settings but they seem to have a wide variety of strengths and wavelengths for different purposes. You can have a bright light setting for reading. A milder light to keep a low, romantic glow in the room, etc. The wand on the arm allows for a wide range of adjustments while remaining unobtrusive when placed next to a bed or desk. You can even tuck this arm completely down to make a compact lamp. The minimalist look of this lamp is quite cool. My wife was skeptical of the design when I showed her a picture but she quite likes it now. This thing is elegantly designed. All the buttons are on a completely smooth buttonless panel. Because the buttons blend in to the base to maintain the minimalist look, it is hard to see the buttons in the dark. The designers placed a small red glowing light over the power button so you never have to fidget in the dark to find it. I appreciate when there is a lot of thought that goes in to the design of a device. This lamp reminds me of the apple design and functionality ethos. The downside to this lamp is that I was unable to dock my iPhone because of the case I had. I bought a dock extender from Amazon which fixed the problem. I can say that the stereo is quite loud and is sufficient to wake you up or even start a morning dance party. I HIGHLY recommend this lamp.

After reading reviews about this lamp, I was skeptical due to the price. However, having owned 2 previous cheap LED lamps, I wanted something that had more features. This lamp has everything. Four different tone colors are available with each one being able to be fine tuned with a dimmer 2 up or 2 down. The Ipod dock is great to listen to Pandora as background music. This lamp is a bit pricey, but worth every penny. If you are a person who is very particular about the right lighting, this lamp is for you.

I've been thinking a long time to buy two of these desk lamps to leave it on each side of my bed and finally I decided to buy.

As I expected, the product are exactly as described, the material is well made with a high quality finishing, seems to be durable (will figure out with some time), and features are useful. So, why not 5 stars?

Well, as I said, I bought two units and place it on each side of my bed, one for me and another for my wife, and there I figure that this desk lamp really rotate his arm 280 degrees but for my surprise it rotates from the center front to counter clock passing to center back and a little bit more, I mean, why would someone use the light on the back side? The left bed desk is ok, my wife can place her unit aiming foot side of the bed and rotate the arm to her side, but in my case I need to move the entire unit to my side to place the light over me. Quite strange.

As I have some experience on modify things I opened the unit and noted that have a limitation ring with tree screws, I just removed it and replace in a different position, but most of you may not feel comfortable on do it.

Another interesting thing is that the power buttom has a light inside that turn off when you turn the unit on, this make hard to turn the unit off because you can't see the button till you stand up and look close to the light power symbol, maybe it happen only with the black model.

By the way, I think I made a good investment, the light is enough to read a book or my kindle and the sleeping mode is perfect to leave and came back to my bed without bother my sleeping wife.

LED lamps are still pricey, but this lamp is worth every penny. I was looking for a lamp that would not only serve as a work lamp, but that could provide additional room lighting in a dark corner, have low energy consumption, and provide a selection of light spectra and brightness, while still being stylish, with a small desk footprint and flexible positioning. This does ALL that, beautifully, and it also 1) is a dock for my iPhone; 2) has surprisingly good, completely invisible speakers somewhere for the iPhone; and 3) even allows auxiliary input to those speakers from any external source via its standard audio jack. Not only that, it offers a USB interface for non-iOS devices.

There are 4 different levels of "warmth" of light, and each warmth setting has 5 different brightness settings. It's a very well designed interface; I tend to generally use a combination of warmer LED's for warmth, and the brighter, blue-white LED's for brightness.

This particular model of Softech LED swivels 360 degrees as well as bending to full extension or closing up to a vertical position, so it is as flexible as it could possibly be.

If there is any downside to this lamp, it is that the warmer settings do NOT offer full brightness. Yes, you can get a full 100 watt level of brightness, over 1000 lumens, if you use the blue-white setting, but as you go warmer, the maxiumum brightness setting drops to about the equivalent of a 60 watt incandescent.

Other than that, this is a perfect lamp, and provides the kind of product design and manufacture that I normally only expect to receive from Apple products. I've never been delighted by a lamp--until this one!

One other caveat, however: I notice the price has gone up 20 percent since I bought it 2 months ago. You might want to wait for it to drop again.

We purchased this lamp and loved it. Later we purchased the Duogreen LED lamp (made by the same manufacturer). If you need to save money on the lamp look at the Duogreen. If you need the fancier features of the Softech this is a pretty lamp, can put out a bright light and has useful features for the ipod, though the speaker is a bit tinny sounding. Only uses 11 watts and if you care about EMFs, we tested our magnetic field at approx. 4 at the light source quickly dropping to .5 just a few inches away.

I've had the Lumiy 1350 for about 2 weeks now. My comments are as follows.

Design:

In regards to design, my initial reaction was surprise to how small the box I received was. The head and foot of the lamp is flat and its neck is flexible, so it doesn't take up much space in either its box or my desk. The lamp comes split into 3 pieces: head+neck, base, and power cord. Setting it up is very simple and the neck does not seem to have any rotation limitations based on my use.

Features + Performance:

The lamp features touch controls which are cool, but the "buttons" can be hard to see. The only indicator given is on the power switch in the center that features a red light when off. This light disappears when the lamp is turned on. I'm not sure if it's because I received my lamp in black but I initially found myself struggling to find the proper buttons due to lack of sight. This however is a minor issue once memory of button placement kicks in after a day or so.

The brightness is adjustable at 3 levels: low, medium, and high, plus interchangeable between cool and warm lighting. This lamp on its highest setting is extremely bright. With that said, it should be understood that this is a desk lamp that is better used for "focus". This means it is best placed closer to your reading, writing, and/or drawing material. With the right angle tilt of the head, the Lumiy 1350 can illuminate your whole room, but it's clear that is not its purpose. If you are like me and prefer a stationary light for your workspace purposes, this lamp is perfect for you.

Energy:

As expected from an LED lamp, the Lumiy 1350 has many energy saving aspects. It comes with a timer feature that turns the lamp off within an hour and the lamp's power consumption is a low 7 watts. But what I find most impressive about this lamp is its LED life. The lamp's LED life is estimated to be over 40,000 hours! Basically if used for 8 hours a day, the Lumiy 1350 should last over 13.5 years.

In summary, based on the Lumiy 1350's design, performance, and promises in energy efficiency, I can say it is worth my purchase. If you are looking for a bright, adjustable, long-lasting lamp to help your workflow, this product is definitely worth it.

I spent a fair amount of time looking at desk lamps prior to making this purchase. After trying a few other products from local vendors and discovering low quality workmanship and lighting, I bit the bullet and spent the money to buy this lamp.

I couldn't be happier with the purchase. The lamp puts out a very even light with no flickering, the base is very sturdy, controls intuitive and simple (my 9 year old figured them out in about 30 seconds) and the lighting head stays put where I position it. The multiple light intensities make it useful for reading, writing and general study. I didn't realize how much difference those light intensities would impact reading printed text vs handwritten notes (pen/pencil) until I used this lamp.

The only detraction I would give on this lamp is that the touch controls for turning the light up and down, are a little difficult to get a response from. Fortunately I don't turn it up and down very often.

This was perfect for my use: a directional reading lamp that can also be used to light bookshelves for browsing and brighten up a dark corner. The lamp is sturdy and the base heavy so it doestn't tip easily, but it also can be lifted and moved around when needed. Each lamp housing swivels all the way around so I can direct it anywhere: to focus on a picture on the wall or on the bookshelves. I am using compact fluorescent bulbs in the lamp so the housings stay cool to the touch while I have plenty of light to ready by. Love the lamp.

I would suggest using energy light bulbs. At first I had regular 60 watt light bulb and it got really hot, but I switched to the spiral energy saving bulbs and the heads do not get nearly as hot and the light is a lot nicer cooler light all around.

I was very pleased when I saw it come out of the box. It looks very nice and had a sturdy base that could even stand up on a carpet. On the first day I used the maximum allowed 60 watt bulbs. A horrible smell filled the room and gave me a headache. I found the center lamp could not be turned off. The reason why is because the rotating switches were held on with glue. The glue melted on the center lamp, and spinning the switch would not turn the small cylindrical piece inside that was covered in melted glue. Apparently I was also breathing in the fumes from hot glue.

I figured 60 watts was too much so after the glue solidified again (after I unplugged it to turn it off) I tried using only 40 watts in all lamp fixtures. The same problem came back. It took twice as long for the glue to melt, but the problem was still there.

I won't use 20 watts because I wanted to use it to read. I am going to attempt to send it back asap if it is not too late.

The worst part of it all is that it is so obvious that you should not be putting glue at the top of a lamp that gets too hot to touch. I am not an engineer, but even I can figure out that making the switches screw on like the top of a bottle would be much better than using a glue which melts and releases horrible fumes.

I am surprised none of the other reviewers had this problem. I wonder if I am the only one unlucky enough to have gotten one which had glue switches instead of some other model they were using. I noticed some of the other reviewers mentioned the smell and heat, but not this problem.

I will not buy from this company again.

The lamp arrived in great shape well packed and very timely. Assembly was an issue when the instructions required (for some lamps) a washer under the shade before installing the shade. There would be about 1/4" play in the shade and make it succeptable to breakage with the play. I called the mfg about this and was told, "some lamps have the shade"..............."I knew this already and didn't need them to tell me what I had read". I asked about the washer and was told to look in my scrap box for another as I should just have one lying around. My response was after paying $400 for a lamp I would not expect to have to hunt for used parts to make it functional. Reluctantly they sent me the washer which probably has a total cost of $0.50. Looking more closely at the lamp I found the instructions were incorrect and NOT following the instructions was the way to assemble the shade properly. I had attempted to tell the mfg about this while discussing the washer but was treated as a "dumb" customer vs. the Engineer that I am.

Summary. The lamp is exceptional, delivery prompt, instructions incorrect and poor customer support.

Would I buy again possibly but I would look to other manufactures. It was NOT Amazon or the Amazon supplier but the Manufacturer I hold responsible for this. Amazon and the Amazon supplier did a super job of completing, shipping and delivery on time of the lamp. The manufacture needs to improve their service to match the quality of the lamp.

I purchased a Mosso with the desk clamp and occupancy sensor, and I'm extremely happy with it. OK, it's a desk lamp. But, if you're in the market, this must be the best one out there. Stylish, well-engineered, and highly functional. There is really a lot of attention to detail in the Mosso, which does not go unnoticed. Of course, it should be about half of the price, but you get what you pay for. We'll have to see how it works out in the long run, but I'm looking forward to never having to replace a bulb again. Very bright at its highest setting, and adjustable. Runs cold and uses barely any power. Positioning is very adjustable. Easy to assemble, based in the US, and according to the manufacturer it's environmentally friendly. If you can afford it, you won't be disappointed. Next time I need a lamp, I'm going to Koncept first.

First, the lamp is attractive and well-built. The quality of the light is OK for LED's -not as clear as halogens but then this lamp doesn't get so hot that it will burn you, which is why I picked this over a halogen light in the first place. The touch strip that controls and dims the light is located on the upper part of the arm just behind the lamp head (not on the base, as you might expect), and seems to work well.

However despite the high build quality, the design could use some improvement. First, the lamp head and arms are held in place by friction, and it is so tight (presumably so it doesn't sag) that you can't position it with one hand. If you try you'll just move the entire lamp around, so you have to hold the base or other arm with your other hand while positioning it. In other words, positioning the arms/lamp head is a two-handed effort, not smooth and easy the way some swing arm lamps that use springs are.

Second, when you try to adjust the lamp's position as I just described, your hand naturally wants to grasp the upper swing arm right behind the lamp head, but that is where the touch strip is. So it's too easy to change brightness or turn on or off when you try to adjust its position.

Third, the lamp head connects to the upper swing arm with a plug that looks vaguely like a headphone plug. It's not hardwired in. I'm not sure why it was built this way -connectors are usually more expensive than a hard-wired solution. This means you can replace the head if the LEDs go bad, which is good, but aren't the LEDs supposed to last a really long time anyway? In any event, when you adjust the lamp head, the connector gets rotated and and the light flickers, which is annoying. It would be better if it had a connection that didn't flicker when the head was moved around.

All in all, this is attractive and functional, but considering its price I wish I had waited for a version 2 that hopefully will fix some of these issues.

M and M Glitter Lamp Review

My children are love this glitter lamp. The colors that emits on the wall is beautiful. Sort of psychedelic in a muted way. The pieces of glitter will remind you of m&m's. If your child still need a nightlight this is the way to go.

I will list the pro's and con's here. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the pieces only stack on top of each other instead of screwing together.

Would I recommend this to a friend or family member? Yes, yes, yes! It is the best glitter lamp, I have ever seen!

Word's of advice

Shake the glitter before turning it on to get the flow going, turn off the light in your child's room and surprise them, record or see the delight in their face. You will not forget it. This lamp ROCKS!

this is a great product! it makes a wonderful nightlight for any little ones who may need alittle extra lighting at bedtime, and for funtime/playtime,it makes an awesome party light for the kids room! my child loves it, the soft and gentle paced illuminating lighting is relaxing & beautiful!

Best Deals for M and M Glitter Lamp

This lamp was suppose to be a Christmas present for my 3 year old grand daughter. It never arrived. I contacted the seller, the post office, my neighbors, etc. and no one knew what happened to the package. The seller did their digging and came up with nothing also. They did however give me a refund. They were extremely nice and easy to work with. I give this item a 4 point score, not because of the item, but because of the seller, whom I would order from again and recommend to others.

This is a very pretty lamp and well made. I don't give it 5 stars because I think the shade is too dark. The lamp is actually made of wood at the base. This was surprising because it was not stated anywhere on the description. I bought these for my mom to spruce up her home and she absolutely loves them. They were simple to put together because my 70 year old mom did it. Believe me, that should really explain how easy it was. Because thy are made of wood, they are very durable so they can withstand the tirades of a toddler.

Bought this for our theatre room to match the wine colored motif. Bought an additional lamp after receiving the 1st promptly, well packed and as described. It is a 3-way lamp and you have to screw the light fixture onto the base. The shade is a burgundy wine color and the lamp has silver-like accents.

The lamp is absolutely beautiful. I have written to see if they make it in a floor lamp. It is worth every dime. My bedroom is silver and burgundy, the lamp ties everything together. I have Burgundy Sheer curtains and Silver silk panels over them to appear as a door to the window. The room is lovely, very warm and elegant.

I was disappointed with these lamps. They should have been larger. The shade is dark red which looks great, but allows very little light to escape. I thought they were over priced for the quality!

I purchased similar lamps, a couple years ago, similar quality for less than half the price.

Was defective! Burnt bulb up & started smoking. 3-way never worked. Now I have to go to the trouble of sending it back. Did like the color of the shade with my furniture. I am trying another one, but skeptical.

This lamp looks exactly like the picture. Although the silver is shiny, it's also a little distressed (which I like). I don't think that comes across in the picture. Also, the shade might be a hair too large for the base. I'm going to try a smaller one.

This lamp is so unique and is great as a nightlight, as it only takes a 25 watt bulb. It is diminutive in size, but I love the look in my kitchen. Unfortunately, my first lamp arrived and did not work. I emailed the seller directly, and she could not have been nicer. No questions asked, I was sent a replacement immediately. I heard from the seller multiple times with updates on shipping and numerous apologies. This was customer service like no other! Do NOT hesitate to buy from LampStore. What a wonderful company!

I love the shape and size, but the teapot is made out of a chalky-like material that is painted silver, I was very surprised at that. The shade seems to be a tad big, but overall it does the job in the kitchen. a bit overpriced I think.

I bought these as accent lights for my bathroom. I had to make the length as short as possible, since I have 8' ceilings in there and the glass shades themselves are quite large. I like the color and look of the fixture when it is both off and on, and it does put out a nice amount of light. I would recommend this product.

Did a full kitchen renovation. Finding the right pendant lights for the kitchen island took the longest time to find. When I found the Mona Pendant Lite, I bought 3 of them right away. Delivery was a week faster than estimated. They were packaged very well and arrived safe. The cords were very easy to adjust. Really nice colours.
