This is a very nice lamp for the price. Although many pictures don't show it, this lamp uses a pull cord. The lamp shade can be adjusted up and down to direct light where it is most needed. The packaging from the manufacturer seems a bit flimsy, so the first lamp arrived with a shattered lamp shade. We had to return it, but the subsequent one was intact. It serves our purposes well.

When I was in the market for a desk lamp, I needed one that would stand up to the punishment that I would give. This model fullfilled the requirement. I use the lamp every day and many times I leave the lamp on most of the day. The lamp I had before didn't last but one year and wan't the best value. I am hard on desk lamps and this model isn't a "Hi Intensity" model, You don't really need one that powerful just for everyday use. If you have visual problems then one of these type of lights would work better for you.

this lamp is made in china, looks cheap, and doesn't feel or appear to be high quality. for around fifty dollars i'd expect to get a much nicer desk lamp. not recommended. i was disappointed because i had high hopes based on other reviews.

I received this lamp about a month ago, and it is working out just great. Although it can take up to a 60 watt standard base bulb, it came with a 40 watt florescent bulb that uses about 6 watts, and it is the cool light bulb, as opposed to the warm light, and I like this, in addition to being surprised to get a bulb included. Back to the lamp, it is made very sturdy. The lamp base has a nice brass finish, and is nice and heavy relative to the rest of the lamp, so it won't slide out of place on your table or desk, or wherever you place it, and has a nice felt backing. The lamp comes with a nice brass pull chain as well, for turning it on and off. The lamp is made exceptionally well, as is the green glass shade. So far I am very pleased with my lamp, and the price of $35 was a fantastic buy!

I purchased a Mosso with the desk clamp and occupancy sensor, and I'm extremely happy with it. OK, it's a desk lamp. But, if you're in the market, this must be the best one out there. Stylish, well-engineered, and highly functional. There is really a lot of attention to detail in the Mosso, which does not go unnoticed. Of course, it should be about half of the price, but you get what you pay for. We'll have to see how it works out in the long run, but I'm looking forward to never having to replace a bulb again. Very bright at its highest setting, and adjustable. Runs cold and uses barely any power. Positioning is very adjustable. Easy to assemble, based in the US, and according to the manufacturer it's environmentally friendly. If you can afford it, you won't be disappointed. Next time I need a lamp, I'm going to Koncept first.

First, the lamp is attractive and well-built. The quality of the light is OK for LED's -not as clear as halogens but then this lamp doesn't get so hot that it will burn you, which is why I picked this over a halogen light in the first place. The touch strip that controls and dims the light is located on the upper part of the arm just behind the lamp head (not on the base, as you might expect), and seems to work well.

However despite the high build quality, the design could use some improvement. First, the lamp head and arms are held in place by friction, and it is so tight (presumably so it doesn't sag) that you can't position it with one hand. If you try you'll just move the entire lamp around, so you have to hold the base or other arm with your other hand while positioning it. In other words, positioning the arms/lamp head is a two-handed effort, not smooth and easy the way some swing arm lamps that use springs are.

Second, when you try to adjust the lamp's position as I just described, your hand naturally wants to grasp the upper swing arm right behind the lamp head, but that is where the touch strip is. So it's too easy to change brightness or turn on or off when you try to adjust its position.

Third, the lamp head connects to the upper swing arm with a plug that looks vaguely like a headphone plug. It's not hardwired in. I'm not sure why it was built this way -connectors are usually more expensive than a hard-wired solution. This means you can replace the head if the LEDs go bad, which is good, but aren't the LEDs supposed to last a really long time anyway? In any event, when you adjust the lamp head, the connector gets rotated and and the light flickers, which is annoying. It would be better if it had a connection that didn't flicker when the head was moved around.

All in all, this is attractive and functional, but considering its price I wish I had waited for a version 2 that hopefully will fix some of these issues.

This was my first electronics kit. I was worried I'd be too rookie at soldering and mess this up since it's got so many components, but it ended up working fine. For anyone new to soldering, just take your time, have a clear well lit space, and read up a bit on soldering to make sure you do it right. It's surprisingly easy.

Fine tuning took me a couple hours of turning the settings half a degree this way and that way. It works fine without fine tuning but I'm picky and I wanted it as perfect as possible.

The picture doesn't show it but this also comes with a small black box with a transparent cover to put this in for whatever installation you might use it in, and a sensitivity dial that can be put somewhere more accessible than the circuit.

I'm not too fond of the connectors it came with to wire up the lights power and audio, but they work fine.

This is a good electronic project. Not only do you get to sharpen your soldering skills but you can have fun looking at the schematic and seeing what exactly happens. My only complaint is that my Mid Freq doesn't work. I am have tried debugging it but I haven't figured out what is wrong! but I am going to give the company the benefit of doubt in that they didn't send me any defective components. the other frequencies work fine although they are very sensitive sometimes the LED's stay on without blinking when play some of my Dubstep music. Overall it does what I want and it was fun putting it together!

I looked at this lamp for a long time before making the purchase. It looked amazing on the Amazon site. When I recieved the lamp I wouldn't say I love it but I do like it. The quality is a bit shabby but for the price it was a good buy. I was hoping for more of a wow factor when I first plugged it in but I was just happy with it. It is a really pretty lamp and it looks nice in my living room. I'm actully debating on purchasing another one to have a pair on either side of the room. Also it says to use 60 watt bulbs and I did put those in at first and realized that is too much light so I put in 40 watt bulbs which look alot better. I guess all and all I'm glad I made this purchase.

I bought two of these lamps for my meeting room. The are very colorful and provide just enough light to see around the room while the overhead light is off, for video viewing, etc. The glass colors in these two do not match, but that adds some hand-made character to the lamps.

I ordered this lamp because I was looking for something unique for my desk. The lamp came well packaged and in perfect working order. The lights adjust in different directions so they provide a variety of focal points. The only reason I did not give this lamp 5 stars is because the halogen bulbs that came with the lamp cast a yellowish light. I was hoping that the light would be more clear as some of my halogens have been in the past. I intend on looking for some replacement bulbs that have a more natural light. I would recommend this lamp to anyone who doesn't need a lot of light but wants to add a touch whimsy to their decor.

I purchased this fan for my husband who loves sea turtles. It was bigger than I expected and good quality. The details are really nice and it definitely makes a unique gift, one I haven't seen in the stores. The only reason I am rating this a 4 and not a 5 is because it is very loud. This makes it difficult to use on a night table or dresser when going to sleep. It is very powerful however and creates a nice breeze. I purchased this more for the look than the functionality though. All in all, a very nice gift for those who like this sort of thing.

I was on the fence about this lamp since it's only 25" high. I was worried it's dimensions wouldn't fit in with the height of the end table/leather couch overstuffed arm but it looks great! The shade has more cabachons to reflect color than I realized. The lighting is perfect, not too bright, and the lamp colors give the lighting a really great warm glow. Of course I love the 2 pull chains (and so does my cat!). If you're like most people, when you lay on your couch to watch TV, reaching behind you to turn a lamp switch knob on can quickly become an exercise in aggravation. With this lamp, simply reach back, give it a little tug and there ya go. The price of this lamp is awesome. I wondered how the glass fixture in the lamp base would look, but it's fine. Honestly, with all the embellishments the shade has, the glass fixture is a non-issue. This lamp really surprised me with it's beauty. I am SO glad I bought it. LOVE!

I love it.

My wife & I are re-decorating 2 rooms: (1) The TV room (on which my wife has decided to splurge a bit), & (2) My office (a one time garage, & not nearly as "upscale").

We had already purchased (on approval, not from Amazon) 2 other, very nice Tiffany lamps for the TV room at $159 (no s/h). Then I saw this "Sunrise" Tiffany on Amazon at $109 + $9 s/h, and ordered it for my office.

When this "Sunrise" Tiffany arrived, it was gorgeous, more spectacular than the more expensive Tiffanys in the TV room. We briefly considered buying a 2nd "Sunrise" & putting both in the TV room, while moving one of the more expensive Tiffanys to my office, and returning the other.

However, all of a sudden the "Sunrise" Tiffanys became no longer available, so we never were forced to decide on the switch. We simply kept the 3 Tiffanys we already have and my office is the big beneficiary.

My office has a large window looking out to the walkway to our front door. The "Sunrise" is on a small desk under the window. From the walkway, the "Sunrise" looks spectacular, especially when lit up after dark.

My only (mild) criticism of "Sunrise" is that when larger (26 watt) CFL bulbs are placed in the lamp, and you are sitting down across from the "Sunrise", a small part of the CFL bulbs can be seen below the bottom edge of the Tiffany shade. This problem does not exist with smaller (13 watt) CFLs.

It's sad that this "Sunrise" Tiffany currently is not available, but if and when it returns, it is a super good looking lamp at a bargain price (I would have guessed a price of $175).

Nice lamp. HOWEVER, where the bulbs are inserted could have been attached better. I do not know how to correct this IF that is possible, nor what tool to use if it was. As a result the bulbs which show are unbalanced.
