I wanted to have a couple of these crystal lamps in my to put in my office and bedroom. The prices here are much better and when the items arrived, well lets just say they were just absolutely stunning! The pictures did not do it justice! They were very heavy, solid feeling, and really easy to set up! I put one right next to my bed. It gives off such a soft warm glow and shows every line and color in the stone, makes it easier to sleep and get that warming feeling. I highly reccommend! I am very pleased with mine and look forward to each day I get to light it:)

so sorry to have purchased this lamp. Replacement bulbs are poorly specified and NO HELP FROM Zuo Modern customer service to clarify or to get a supply of bulbs. We have yet to be able to even turn this lamp on because of such misguidance with basic bulbs. I will never purchase another ZuoModern product again!

Received from another site, but still from the same company and I'm very happy with what I received. I bought them for my bedroom and they look great. Very little effort to put them together and were packed very well. I was nervous about the shades, but they were packed in a very smart way. I would certainly recommend, BUT beware, in order to replace a bulb you will have to remove the harp. Just no wiggle room to replace a bulb without removing the harp. Didn't try, but don't really think you could get a swirl (CLF) bulb in this lamp. I'm very happy with my purchase.

This lamp is by far the best lamp I've ever owned. Dimming it is very simple, and its lighting memory is very useful. Light distribution is uniform, and its intensity is really amazing for a LED lamp. An oldie-but-goodie lamp concept that I remember fondly from the 1950s. The cool retro look works in my living room for reading, needlework and ambient lighting. I looked at nearly every tree lamp on Amazon and chose this one based on the relatively high reviews. The one prior review about the poor packaging gave me pause, but I figured it was a fluke. It was not. The box arrived falling apart, the stryfoam inside was crumbling, taped together, and supplemented with styrofoam peanuts. One of the three lamps was broken completely off the pole. Even if it were not broken, I would not have liked this lamp. The shades are thin and cheap looking and appear to be plastic, not metal. I do give five starts to Amazon for their excellent return policies they refunded my money right away and told me to dispose of the broken lamp (rather than having to send it back).

We own several other Dale Tiffany stained glass lamps and this one is the same high quality we expected. The glass is very colorful, nicely soldered and finished. The base is high quality and nicely finished also. This lamp takes two of the new small base bulbs. (They look like, and are the same size a regular bulb but with a small base the size of a night light bulb instead of the standard sized Edison base) The safety sticker says to use 40W bulbs but we have been using 60W bulbs in similar lamps for years. I think it's more of an energy saving thing more than a safety precaution.

In years past we have had a lot of problems with lamps arriving broken because of poorly designed packaging. This is certainly not the case with this lamp! The styrofoam packaging is form fit and made to cradle the shade from within and without so I think it could take even the roughest of UPS tossing. Not one piece was broken or bent.

If you need a smaller sized accent lamp, this is certainly a very nice one.

I purchased this lamp because I liked the way it was described in terms of size and colors, and the way it was pictured. The order arrived within the week, and the lamp was packaged well. The base is heavy, looks good, but I am displeased with the colors on the shade. While the dragonflies are OK, the base color of the shade is mostly green, and dark green at that. Even with a 60W bulb it looks very dark nothing like the picture. Without the light on, it looks almost black. Very disappointing!

I ordered this lamp on the basis of the picture---predominantly blue shade with delicate light green and pink facets, pewter colored base. What arrived was a predominantly green shade with dark red (almost bliocked up) facets and a dark brown base.

The picture is very, very misleading, and I am thinking of returning the lamp even though it does seem to be well made. After all, if it doesn't fit the room, it doesn't fit. The lamp in the picture would fit though...

Exactly what I wanted, except the chain is about 12" short for a vaulted ceiling. It has ample wire and the safety wire are over 24" longer than the chain packed with the light, so it may be a manufacturing or design error. I purchased a similar one for another house a few months ago Lowes Portfolio brand and it came with plently of chain for a vaulted ceiling, so my expections are not too high. Otherwise, it has the 3-bulb and up-open-style design we wanted. Gives out a lot of light for the area above the dining table, just a little too high off the floor with the shorter chain but we are living with it.

I hesitated buying this lamp because it's pricey but I finally bought it because I knew it would be so perfect for my kid's pirate-themed bedroom. I am so glad I did! It's very well made and has a very fantasy-like feel which I love for my kids. I love the "Yo ho ho" song that is plays and that the pirate, skeleton and treasure chest move to the song. My upstairs bathroom is literally smaller than most walk-in closets. So when I needed to change the wall sconce I wanted to get something that would be as flat as possible against the wall so it didn't take up valuable space. This lights fairly well but I had to upgrade the bulbs to a higher output (using lower CFL) in order to have a daylight lighting option.

I ordered this lamp because I was looking for something unique for my desk. The lamp came well packaged and in perfect working order. The lights adjust in different directions so they provide a variety of focal points. The only reason I did not give this lamp 5 stars is because the halogen bulbs that came with the lamp cast a yellowish light. I was hoping that the light would be more clear as some of my halogens have been in the past. I intend on looking for some replacement bulbs that have a more natural light. I ordered this on March 31, 2012. It arrived today, April 17, 2012. GREAT looking lamp. Very pleased with its appearance. I unpacked it and cleared off a spot on my daughter's desk. Found a three-way GE bulb. Plugged it in. Turned it on. Oh-oh. I have an on state and and off state, NO THREE-WAY ILLUMINATION, which is a major reason I bought this lamp.

The socket is labeled as three-way, 50-100-150. So I call the vendor, Lamps Plus. First the representative I spoke with tells me to make sure the little metal tab in the bottom of the socket is making contact with the light bulb base. Well, duh, it LIGHTS, therefore we know that a circuit is being completed, yes? The problem is that it's not functional three-ways. I swap another three-way bulb. Same problem.

So the problem appears to be that the lamp manufacturer, Haeger Potteries, either changed and mislabeled the lamp or just screwed up and didn't install a three-way socket.

I was offered A) a discount B) an opportunity to return the lamp -I don't have a vehicle and I can't see carrying a 2'x2'x2' box a mile and a half to the nearest FedEx office. By this time I'm getting a pretty good case of the tight jaws and explain through clenched teeth that I am a single father on a fixed income and this was not a frivolous purchase, AND it was intended for my daughter. I ask to speak to her manager. I wait. She comes back and offers to have the lamp picked up. I thank her and ask to speak to her manager again. I wait more. She comes back on the line and tells me that she can't locate a manager and they'll have to call me back.

I have steam coming out of my ears. It's a LAMP, it's a simple TABLE LAMP. It was described and it labeled as having a three-way socket, that was a major selling point. I am not amused. Simple competence is not too much to expect. Shall I walk to Home Depot and buy a three-way socket and rewire the lamp myself? That sounds simpler than returning it and waiting another two weeks and hoping that Haegar Potteries can pull a part from the correct bin this time around.

Let's recap: Beautiful lamp, made in the USA. Two weeks for a FedEx delivery seemed like a good long wait, plus the tracking number I was provided had no delivery date. Not impressive. And, the killer, the three-way socket is either defective or mislabeled, the bottom line being that I don't have the three-way desk lamp I wanted for my daughter's room.

I am not happy. Perhaps you ought to consider a different manufacturer and a different vendor if you're in the market for a nice desk lamp.

Two hours later I called Lamps Plus back, since I hadn't received the promised call from a manager. The manager I spoke with told me that due to a recent California law, lamp manufacturers have to swap out three-way switches for regular switches in order for lamps to be used with the excretable "CFL" lamps -drop one of those and you have to call a HazMat team to clean up the mess. CFL lamps are a bad idea IMHO. ANYWAY. There would be no point in returning this lamp and hoping that the replacement would have a three-way switch. I have to buy one and install it myself. Lamps Plus is going to refund $25 of the price. That ought to cover the cost of a three-way switch.

Why wasn't this lamp described as NOT having a three-way switch on Amazon? Why is it labeled as having a three-way switch? What dumb California law resulted in this mess?

I was thrilled to find these lamps (I purchased 2) at such a reasonable price. They were delivered as promised and I was anxious to unpack them and display them in our newly remodeled master bedroom. Imagine my surprise when I went to plug the first one in, only to find it has a Europen plug. This lamp runs off 220 volts and cannot be plugged into a standard American 110 volt outlet. These lamps are beautiful, exactly what I wanted, but now I'm faced with a decision; either return them, find a converter to run them off, or remove the lampshades and put them on another stand. I order from Amazon on a regular basis and am very disapointed that this was not mentioned anywhere in the product description.

My wife and I were quite happy when we ordered this lamp. The photos looked beautiful and it was exactly what we were looking for. However, the problems started with the unpacking: the lampshade was coated in a oily feeling substance that made the lamp feel greasy. Second, the shade is not, as directly advertised, made out of glass. The pieces are clearly made out of plastic and when the lamp is turned off, have an ugly and dark look. I have to admit that the lamp is beautiful when turned on at night, but it is not attractive the rest of the day. This is clearly false advertising.
