This is a very pretty fixture, has a mid-century look, but the glass part of the pendant we received was defective. We weren't able to get it straight. After sending a picture to Philips they agreed the glass was "off" and had us return it to Amazon. Amazon didn't have anymore in stock so we had to go with a different fixture.

I purchased this item at a cost of $180 and only 4 weeks later it stopped working, no sound, no light no nothing! I called the telephone numbers on the warrantee card and they are no longer working. I have nearly six addresses for this company and not really sure where to send it back. Needless to say, I'm pissed off and out $180!

This makes an awesome gift. Really worth the money much nicer than I expected my dad loves it...I got it b/c he loves this car and it's unique plus it was the year he was born. Whenever we go to visit my father my son loves turning this lamp on and off. IT is GREAT!

My bedroom is very glam. Upholstered headboard, mirrored night stands, etc. I was ready to make a purchase of much more substantial lamps. Most of my previous ones came from IKEA. They looked pretty good but were super wobbly and cheap. I was looking at much more pricey lamps, crystal bases and the like. These are perfect. The shades are shiny but when the light is on they are not. They look fabulous. They were packed to perfection. I was hesitant to wait a few weeks to receive them, but it only took 3 weeks. Well worth the wait. WELL worth the price.

Product arrived ok Seemed in good shape The base is so delicate with no cushioning on the bottom of the lamp if you set the lamp down normally it will crack as my lamp did I suggest putting stick on pads around base to avert such a disaster. The lamp is quite lovely and perfect for my daughters bedroom except for the new cracks.

I was so excited when I found this lamp and it would match my new living room furniture perfectly. It was pricey for me, but I bought it anyways.

I did measurements from the product description, which were confusing. So when it arrived, I was shocked to see how small it really was. It was meant for living room, but ended up on my bedroom nightstand. The lamp shade also lays pretty low onto the lamp itself. There is no way to raise it up and for it to stay in place. It was definitely not worth the $50 I paid.

Being from Nebraska and a UNL alum, I am always looking for Nebraska Cornhusker items. This lamp was a little smaller than I anticipated, but still a nice item. The colors and logos are very nice. It takes a smaller blub, so it doesn't really light up an entire room, but it's fine for a hall table or end table. This lamp is more decorative than anything. Still a nice "Husker" item.

When the small box arrived I couldn't believe 2 fairly large lamps were inside.

I thought I must have ordered smaller lamps than I had thought. However, there

ARE two large lamps in the tiny box. The lamp itself comes in three pieces. They are

all connected by the cord so it's just a matter of screwing them together not a big deal.

The excess cord is wrapped around itself and is difficult to get unwound.

What really surprised me was that the shade has to be assembled. It comes in four pieces and the metal is brass colored (I don't think the description mentioned thisI'd rather have brushed nickel).

I have never assembled a lamp shade before and was a little intimidated by the thought.

I looked over the instructions and figured it out and was able to get them together. Once completed the lamps are large and very nice looking. It took me probably close to an hour to assemble the two lamps and probably another 15 minutes to clean up the mess. The lamps are tightly packed in styrofoam and getting them out of the packing gets small pieces of styrofoam all over the place.

Looks great, but they are a little wiggly, can't be tightened enough. Cleverly packed, easily assembled, but not as stable as I'd like.

I bought this to install in a tight-fitting hallway (the stairs leading down to my basement) and it works great. My upstairs bathroom is literally smaller than most walk-in closets. So when I needed to change the wall sconce I wanted to get something that would be as flat as possible against the wall so it didn't take up valuable space. This lights fairly well but I had to upgrade the bulbs to a higher output (using lower CFL) in order to have a daylight lighting option.

Wow, what an eye catcher. I can't believe how well this lamp is made. Heavy duty, well made, and very detailed. Even the mask raises so that you can to see the face. What I also like, is how the light from the shade is displayed on the wall, which are dark Crosses. The only downfall is the short length of the power cord, and how the on/off switch is half way down the cord. But other than that, you will not be disappointed with its Knight charm. Really sets the mood of the medieval times.

I ordered 2 of these lamps thinking they would look awesome. I received 1 and about a week later I received the second one. The problems started when I received the first lamp that was assembled loosely. There is a metal rode that the electrical cord goes through from the base to the light socket. Well in this case the rode wasn't tight so the whole lamp twists, since there are 3 separate pieces. Well I didn't worry so much since I still liked the look and I could live with the rest. If I was to fix this situation I would have to take a rubbery bottom off, which covers the entire bottom, it's stuck on with adhesive around the base of the lamp; it would be ruined.

So a week goes by and I get my second lamp which I was actually still excited to receive. This lamp put me over the boiling point. First, the same situations with all three parts being lose. Well I decided that I could fix this and live without the bottom protection cover. Big mistake, I discovered that the top portion was actually broken. Can you say I'm screwed none returnable. So I bite the bullet and decided that can be glued and faced away from sight. So I get to the center metal piece so that I could tighten it. Well guess what I discovered the top decorative metal piece, that separates the light socket from the lamp was bent, so I fixed it. After all I can't return it since I disassembled it too originally tighten something that was losing in the first place. I get everything to a point where I can live with it. I put the lamp shade on and it's crooked. One side is longer than the other side. I confirmed this by measuring the sides and also trying it on the other lamp. I would blame the delivery service except this thing was packaged so well you could have been on a space ship in outer space and drop it to earth and it still wouldn't be broken.

Beautiful lamp. I like the design. It looks rich. However, I made a mistake with the amber shade. It just isn't bright enough for me. If you need to light up a whole room, this isn't the lamp but great for a portion of the room.

Even if it had not been damaged, it was cheap looking and the seams on the bottom and top had already separated. We purchased another shade because we liked the base.

This lamp turned out to be the perfect shade of pink to match my daughter's Disney princess bedding. It takes a small light bulb, up to 40 watts so it can never be a BRIGHT light (which was not what we were looking for). It has a rolling switch on the cord, which will be a little more difficult for her to turn on and off, but at least it keeps her hands away from the light bulb. Seems pretty sturdy and doesn't appear to be top-heavy. Shade is attached by seating it and then screwing in a plastic ring (and then the bulb can't remove it if the bulb is screwed in), but it is removable and replaceable if you have a similar type shade attachment. A very nice little lamp for a little girl's nightstand.

Still love the first lamp after months of use! Liked it so much, just bought a cream colored one for my baby's room, too.

I'm always skeptical of purchasing items online, but this lamp is great! I bought two of them. The pink in the online photo is reflective of the actual pink of the shade, and the stem of the lamp is sturdy/heavy (not wobbly or flimsy). Note of caution, though: the stem part of the lamps I received is more cream color than a pure white. The cream is perfect for my room, but if you're looking for pure white, you might be disappointed.
