I hesitated buying this lamp because it's pricey but I finally bought it because I knew it would be so perfect for my kid's pirate-themed bedroom. I am so glad I did! It's very well made and has a very fantasy-like feel which I love for my kids. I love the "Yo ho ho" song that is plays and that the pirate, skeleton and treasure chest move to the song. It definitely reminds me of the Pirates of the Carribean ride in Disney World like another reviewer stated (which I find so magical). My boys are insane for the lamp and are always excited to show everyone that comes to our home. I highly recommend it forget about the price and just get it SO worth it! :)

I bought this lamp for my home office desk because I wanted something whimsical to look at to brighten up my days and this lamp certainly does the trick. How can you help but smile or sing along when you hear the "Yo, ho, yo ho a Pirate's Life for me" coming from a lamp????

My husband and I LOVE the "Pirates of the Caribbean" ride at Disney World (it's our fave) and this lamp is a wonderful reminder of our vacations to "The Happiest Place on Earth". Arggg!!!!

Naturally it's over-priced since it's an official Disney product, but goes very well in my 5 yr old's Pirates themed room...very cute, worth it for me
