I usually don't bother with writing reviews because I usually stick to products that have already been reviewed extensively and my observations don't add much to the conversation. That being said, this product has me frustrated and there aren't many reviews yet. It arrived in the evening and I needed to use it the next morning, which is when I opened it up. It arrived in good condition in a large plastic bag inside a cardboard box. Here are my complaints:

1) The inside of the bag was completely oily and so was the entire oiler bucket, hose, and oiler nozzel. I didn't see any reason for all the oil so I was a little frustrated as I wiped it down.

2) I filled it with about 5 quarts of dark threading oil and it immediately began leaking from where the oiler hose leaves the bucket. I drained the oil and dis-assembled the hose assembly to fix the leak. I found a fairly significant barb in the hole in the sidewall of the bucket keeping the seals from doing their job. I hammered it out, put a more substantial neoprene gasket in place of the small o-ring and reassembled. Leak fixed.

3) There must still be a leak somewhere in the oiler hose or hand pump as it seems to loose its prime quickly and easily. I had to pump like crazy to get enough oil to keep my threaders cool. Also, because of the air mixed in with the oil is splatters rather than a smooth stream of oil. Hopefully it won't take too much to find the air leak and fix this problem.

I'd have saved money just buying the Ridgid oiler at double the cost and not wasted my time working on getting it functional.

Hopefully I just got a lemon and the rest are great.

I ended up -to amazon's credit -having to get 5 of these shipped to me to get two that were un-damaged. The product comes in it's original box, so it's not the seller/shippers fault, it's just very poorly designed to safely ship the lamp.

Once I actually managed to get two of them that weren't damaged, they're pretty nice. For $250 I would have expected a higher quality product, but they look nice even if the workmanship is lacking.

This contemporary lamp from Dimond seems well made and the lampshade is well done, also. However, the base is more black than bronze and the shade is more of a dark camel than taupe, but is still neutral so it blends well. The measurements are correct, but the lamp feels larger than it's measurements. It really makes a statement and I'm very happy with it. The price I paid through Amazon was also the lowest price I found it for after researching.

This lamp is perfect for my needs. I just ordered a 2nd after making sure I liked the first. They stand behind my sectional couch, providing beautiful uplight and then allowing us to sit on the couch and read. I look into the family room from the kitchen and they do not block the view of the room (and the TV). They are quite tall (71") and you will need more mid-level lighting in your room, unless you just want to keep the reading light on and angle it up. Both lights dim, the controls are handy and this is one beautiful lamp, it's like a piece of art.

It's a standard lamp that takes regular bulbs. My daughter uses this for reading and clamps it to the headboard on her bed. It's working fine and does what it should.

I bought two of these for my children's bunk beds and they literally fell apart within two days of use. The light switch knobs came off and then the plastic clamps used to secure the lamps cracked. Went to Lowe's and purchased new LED ones instead. These got tossed in the trash. It wasn't even worth the hassle of trying to return, replace, etc. Total junk.

The clip on this is a plastic that does not age well, and will eventually crack.. You also need to be careful not to clip it on anything wider than an inch or so. I have broken several. They ended up hose-clamped in fixed locations on tools like drill press, bandsaw, router table, etc.

The neck could be a little stronger. In some mounting situations, gravity overcomes the friction of the neck, and the lamp slowly sags. It works best in the position shown in the picture, on a surface of the thickness shown in the picture.

I purchased this replacement shade for a lamp at work that was knocked over; with shipping, it was slightly less expensive than buying an exact replacement for the entire lamp. The shade size fit the lamp, although I went through a fair amount of hassle to disassemble and reassemble the socket and wiring, and then to position the new glass securely without risking over-tightening and breaking it. The new shade looks OK from a distance--it is a few shades of green lighter than the original glass. There were some small flaws (bubbles) in the outer green surface of the glass that are definitely noticeable close-up. For our office's purposes, it works, but be aware of possible manufacturing flaws if you're purchasing this for your own home and really care about the quality.

I saw some think this was hard to put on, well, not really, you will have to take the lamp partia apart but it was simple, just don't tighten down on the screw too hard, glass is brittle by nature.

I purchased this table-top lamp for my bedroom (also 3 sconces and one pendant, for my sunroom) from a lighting distributor, not from Amazon but I love it so much that I want to let everyone know how wonderful this entire line of lighting is.
