I ordered 2 of these Kenroy Chimes Table Lamps. The lamp shades show online as white, they actually are a light taupe. The lamp shades are also made of a textured fabric and that was a surprise as well, but a pleasant one. The lamps look much more expensive then the are. They are heavy and well made. You will need to purchase a 3 way light bulb for the lamp. I looked for a long time for lamps for my "transitional" style living room. I am very happy with these lamps!

Well, long story short, I bought the 'dragonfly' (-12) glass only but received the '-10' glass only piece. I actually like the one I received in error so I'm going to keep it and have since installed it in my hallway and have placed another order for the dragonfly one which will be placed in my daughter's room. (I hope they send the right one this time!) : D Overall, I really like the quality of the one I did get since the online photo didn't really do the piece justice.

Update ~ I've since received the dragonfly one & I L O V E I T ~ one item to note is that it's more for show now than for light ~ this might sound obvious, but less light shines thru the colored glass than say a transparent or lighter colored glass. Regardless, I can't stop staring at it because it's so pretty & once again solid quality. : )

This lamp is gorgeous even better than the picture. It was carefully packaged and arrived in perfect condition. I bought it for a bedroom, but it would work just as well in a living room. Having three possible light levels (base night light only, main lamp bulb and both at the same time) makes this lamp particularly flexible.

This lamp does the job and looks nice. I've had it for a few months now and have had several compliments on it.

Rather than buying an expensive antique lamp with real bronze or copper I decided to try this for a bit and I think now I'll actually keep it around. It puts off a really nice warm glow and looks great against the dark wood trim in my 1911 Craftsman home.

Yes it came with a lot of styrofoam as the other reviewer mentioned but so did every lamp I've bought, it sure didn't deter from the quality of the item itself which is why I'm giving it 4 stars. I'd give it 5 stars if the base of the lamp weren't sort of painted on a wheel looking. The stripes in it are a tad bit cheesy looking up close if you really examine the finish carefully. This detail is minimal though compared to how nice the shade looks.

Our 1911 bungalow living room is dark quarter-sawn oak with coffered walls and ceilings. It is both literally and financially a black hole. The dark architectural elements make it very difficult to light. Additionally, this type of home really DEMANDS a certain authenticity and (for example) doesn't tolerate design errors. This table lamp fits right into the style and is pretty decent for a little over 100 bucks. Look at brass or copper versions if you have a hankering for authenticity but considering the number of light units it takes to give our very dark room ANY perceptible light, these fixtures are life and money savers. Four stars because the lamps hang a bit low and the ersatz mica lamp shade looks manufactured rather than natural.

We had already purchased a floor lamp in this style. This one is relatively small/short. It was a nice addition as an accent lamp. I think it would be a bit weak as a reading lamp.

If you're looking for something with that vintage flair that isn't super expensive, but is still cute and useful, this is the lamp for you! It looks great in the kids' room, and although it doesn't put out a tremendous amount of light, it's great as a bedside lamp that gives a nice bright glow. The quality is what you'd expect for the price, but it's still very cute, and well worth the $. I'm very happy with it, and have gotten several compliments. All-in-all, it's a winner!

I have purchased many lamps over the years, replacing older lamps to match newer styles and decor. Of all the table lamps I have purchased, these are by far the nicest. I recently bought a pair of these lamps for my living room from a local furniture store, and payed a pretty high price for them. Regardless of the price, they are gorgeous and I don't regret buying them! A friend of mine was so taken with my new lamps, she has been looking for other lamps (with night lights) on-line for weeks. Since she couldn't find ANY lamps that measure up to mine in the same price range, I bought her these exact same lamps for Christmas via Amazon.com at a significantly lower price. I really want to like this lamp. It's nicely made and putting it together was easy: all parts perfectly snap into place. Adjusting the head is easy because the LED bulbs never get hot, like many previous halogen lamps I've owned in the past. The daylight bulbs provide a clean and cool reading light, which I find easy on my eyes. The downside is that this same cool daylight light is also a bit depressing, almost clinical in color. Now I'm debating whether to exchange the lamp for one with warmer bulbs. Hmmm.

Though the product is called a table lamp, this is really more of a night light. It cannot take a high wattage bulb and is rather small. That being said, it works well as a night light for those midnight feedings and diaper changes.

This really did come on the "slow boat from China!" It took over three weeks. Lamp seems very well made. Easy to clip on my desk. Not as bright as lamp it was replacing, but it's bright enough for my needs. I do like the lamp.

I am very pleased with this piano lamp. It is nicely crafted with a heavy base to keep it from tipping and a foam bottom to protect my upright piano. The glass provides an elegant touch and I do get plenty of light directed right where I need it.

I had to assemble the lamp out of the box. Basically, the top had to be screwed onto the base, but the glass shade was installed upside down at the factory. I had to unscrew it and turn it upright, but that was a minor inconvenience.

This lamp does not look cheap, which is always a concern when buying online. I am happy with how beautifully it fits into my decor. In fact, it is one piece of furniture I do pass by just to admire.

After searching for a piano lamp for about a month I stumbled upon this one and decided to go for it. I am very glad I purchased it, and it looks great on my piano. It's heavy, good quality, actual glass (not nasty plasic) and doesn't have a scratch on it. One thing I've found to be slightly irritating is the fact that when you screw on the top to the base, no matter how I've tried, it always ends up with the cord being at the front. Maybe I will be able to screw the top on so that the cord comes out the back of it, but that's my only complaint about it. Otherwise, I'm very happy with my purchase.

The lamp came well packed and all pieces were in tact. The top has to be assembled to the vertical base. Once assembled, the lamp is quite top-heavy. there is not enough weight in the base to compensate for the weight of the glass and metal mounting frame of the top.

I called Lamps Plus to express my concern that maybe the installation of the base weight may have been overlooked during manufacture. They checked, and assured me that the shipping weight of "my" lamp was correct. With that, I asked them for a refund, and they agreed.

I just got this and set it up. It was quite easy to put together since there is only one part that needs to be added. The socket needs to have the light bulb (a 15 watt maximum chandelier style/night light bulb) attached and then it needs to be clipped inside the tea pot.

This is made a lot sturdier than I expected I expected something quite delicate and prone to breakage, but for all the beauty this has it feels like it will take normal wear and tear without falling apart first thing.

The glass colors are lovely all shades of green, blue, red, pink and lavender with accents of yellow and deep gold, set into a background of a creamy white/pale gold.

This was packaged very, very well and should suffer no damage in shipping.

It isn't as bright as I would have liked and I would have appreciated knowing the wattage before I bought it (this is why I deducted half a star in my rating), but that's OK; it is so beautiful in my kitchen bay window, that I will just use it as a night light and not the brighter 25 or 50 watt accent light I would have liked.
