I have received, opened, but not yet assembled this lamp kit. So far, they do not look much like the photos. Description says wood. What's wood, the base? Rest of it, including the "pineapple" detail, is cheap, dust catching metal. Looks like bait and switch to me.

I was disappointed in the quality of these lamps given the price. The one shade has a line through it that when lite is an eye sore. The welding of the silver beads on the lamps base is terrible and cheap. I purchased these due to the shape of the lamp to coordinate with a scalloped 8ft leaner mirror and for the round modern black lampshades to ground the reflection off mirror. Simply not happy with the quality of the lamps at all. I would not reccomend these for the price.

I love these lamps. One of mine arrived broken and I have yet to receive the replacement, BUT the one I have is beautiful. I'm hopeful that the sheen on the beadwork remains in tact and am considering some type of coating to help preserve the sheen. They look great in my library and complement the nailhead trim on my ottomans!!

I have purchased many lamps over the years, replacing older lamps to match newer styles and decor. Of all the table lamps I have purchased, these are by far the nicest. Honestly, the pictures do not do them justice. They are very easy to assemble and appear well made. I am not sure how they will hold up over time, but I have no complaints about them at all.

I just received my lamp and for the most part am very pleased with it. I very much like the hammered base. However, I am disappointed in the bird. It is not made of the same quality as the rest of the lamp. I'm not sure what it is made of but it appears to be plastic, and one foot has broken away from the branch it is sitting on. Although this bothers me, it doesn't bother me enough to go through the hastle of sending the lamp back. Why a manufacturer would make a lamp of this quality and then put a cheap looking bird on it is a mystery to me. I also thought the tree-like portion of the lamp would have a more bronze-like finish but it is a smooth, black wrought iron finish.

This light gave me exactly what I wanted over my small bar in a home billiards room. The color was what we expected. We had some good custom thinking on how to hang from a suspended ceiling with the grid and all. Be sure to know what the real size is because it is smaller than you might think, but it was perfect for our spot. Delivery was in fact 2 days early. The price was great with all the protections. Get the right switch for haolgens that can dim. One area could be improved on the product itself: the adjustment nuts to set the lenght of the cable could be a little more sturdy. We made it work with what we got but it could have been a little easier set screw as we had some trouble pulling the cable through and then setting it and afraid we might strip it out. Otherwise I would recommend this light again. All worked when we first turned on the switch. Good product at a good price.

Purchased this 7 years back and it is still just as nice as when originally purchased. Accents my 9' table wonderfully and keeps my wife happy with it's cultured look while still being filled with manly colors. Provides all the light you need. Would recommend to anyone with a 8' or longer table. If you have a smaller table I'd recommend the 3 lamp version.
