The lamps were delivered rather fast, there was some damage to the lamp shades but didn't bother to contact seller in regards to the damage. The way they packed the lamps was excellent. I am not sure if I would suggest these lamps. I rated them a 3 for it wasn't what I expected for the price in which I paid. They are still nice lamps don't get me wrong.

Nice set of lamps but the lamp shades were far darker than in the picture. Found minor damage on the Lamp shades but I intend to keep them anyway. I rated them a 3 for good reasons, but the were delivered to us rather fast. Over all I would still suggest these lamps to my friends. I wish that they would have had a more finished product, I wouldn't suggest buying this lamp if your looking for some thing different but vintage looking. They don't make things that good anymore it would seem.

I have a long-term project to replace household electric devices with energy-saving ones. I bought this product to replace a 90W halogen bulb in a pendant lamp above a small round family dining table.

There were a couple of good reasons to have chosen this particular product out of similar R38 LED bulbs:

Brightness: To be comparable with the 90W halogen bulb, at least 800-900 lumens was necessary

Dimmable: The lamp was on a dimming X-10 wall switch

Slim shape: The pendant lamp has a large acrylic disk and stainless cylinders on top. I tried another LED bulb before, but its heat fins were so fat that the bulb could not fit.

This product satisfies all criteria. It dissipates little heat (now I can touch the bulb surface which was impossible with a halogen bulb!) and consumes much less power.

A few non-positive things:

The bulb may show flickering if the dimmer is set to the maximum position. "One notch down" from the top position will remove flickering. I later replaced my dimmable X-10 switch with a mechanical relay switch so that this issue is gone and the light level has increased.

The light beam is very narrow and spotty, barely covering our small round dining table. Shadows under the beam are very crisp and dark. I wish the product had larger lighting plain (i.e. more LED elements all over the downing surface).

The light color is somewhat yellowish and not very natural. It is not ideal for a dinner table where natural food colors are expected, and it took us some two weeks to get used to it.

This clip on lamp has a clean, functional design. The lighting quality from it is very good. The flexible neck is adjustable. The length of the cord is more than adequate. The only minor negative feature is that the clip itself is a little small and will only hold on to thinner shelves, etc.

I ordered this lamp after searching for additional lighting for a bedroom table. I wanted something plain and clean looking, a little neutral, a little modern, and a little classic. While this lamp was not my first choice, it does fulfill all those requirements. I didn't expect the quality to be very high but the base has a very nice weight to it and the gloss enamel looks very nice. I'm not crazy about the shadeit seems just a bit cheaper than the base, and is a brighter shade of white. It is also ENORMOUS and the lamp needs to be placed on a slightly higher surface or across a room because if you spend a lot of time close to it, i.e. as a desk or table lamp, it really seems huge. That said, I'm happy enough with it and may try to find a new shade for it at some point but the base is great.

I'm giving this unit a top rating, because it's not fair for me to do otherwise based on my own narrow problem with it. If you are considering this unit, you probably are concerned and prefer the natural light element of these types of lights. I've owned Ott lights, and even though this is not an Ott light, the light quality is fine for my eyes. You might care about its positioning and it's ability to stay put in your desired position. It does those things we'll. You might not have noticed as I had not that the on/off switch is a touch sensor button. It works very well and quite nice to deal with. The base is a reasonable footprint and includes an indentation on its top that might hold a paper clip or two. My personal beef is the bulb itself. I happen to own a quantity of fluorescent bulbs I thought I could use in this unit. That won't be the case. This build is different than the now dormant stock of bulbs I have on hand. I do not know how available these other type bulbs are nor how costly they are. I'm sure they are available somewhere. Check the bulb. It's no like me to stop my purchase here, with one of my main purchasing points foiled, but I am happy with the other elements of the unit, and I'm too busy now to bother with it.

I bought this lamp knowing it had everything I would need all in one. So far it hasn't disappointed me. I was mostly looking for the alarm clock feature, which is great because it turns the light on as well. But it turns out my favorite thing about the lamp is its sleep function. I love setting the sleep timer when I get into bed and listening to music as I fall asleep. The USB port is great for charging my phone too. I love it, it looks great and most importantly it doesn't take up a lot of room on my nightstand.

Speakers sound great, and the fact that its Bluetooth and I don't have to keep my phone hooked up to it to use it, is awesome. I like the alarm clock feature and that is has a USB port to charge my phone if I need to. Everything I want or need is in one cool looking lamp, like the previous review said the instructions were a little tricky to figure out but once I re -read them I got my lamp to work no problem. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quality lamp with great speakers and extras.

The description reads that this lamp is 6.5 inches, however it is actually 5 inches. I bought this as a gift for my sister and sadly she was super disappointed. The exterior of this lamp had several chunks missing, and the owl base is very unstable and wobbly. The photo example was taken at such an angle where it looks like his face looks outward, but really it kind of leans down so you must place it up high to see it as the picture shows. The quality is also not that great, and it is made in China. It looks a lot less cheap online then in person.

This owl is simply gorgeous and well worth the price, it lights up beautifully and is of high quality. The owl came so well packaged and there was no damage at all. The customer care was excellent, they addressed any concerns I had . I would definitely order from them again. For all owl lovers out there, I recommend this light.

I needed a good sturdy lamp for the office to hang over one of the filing cabinets in a dark corner and I chose this clip-on lamp for its looks and the fact that it wouldn't be knocked over like a lamp just placed on top of the cabinet probably would be.

Construction is for the most part excellent and the on/off dial is big and it rotates on/off infinitely so you can just spin it around endlessly to toggle the light. Now the dial itself had come off during shipping but it wasn't broken and it just popped back on and works fine. The clip itself is super tight and strong and I have no worries about the lamp being dislodged from its perch.

The cord is coiled like an old telephone wire which I wasn't expecting although it does actually say that in the description. But I actually thing it's a good safety feature as it means there isn't a coil of wire on the floor causing a potential trip hazard. I'd say it stretches to about 5'-6' with ease.

Perfect for my needs so I'm a happy camper.

Great design! Liked the coiled cord! Unfortunately the the clip is weak. It can't hold the lamp in place. The whole point of this lamp is to be able to be clipped. Too bad there wasn't any quality control on this product. I am returning it as it doesn't meet the it's intended function!!! My rating is purely based on the functionality of the product. Test your product people!!

I bought this light for my husband, so he can use it when he receives calls at night and needs to write something down. He didn't open it till a month later ( too late for a return). It worked ok for couple of nights, but then it stopped, you have to keep moving it and shaking it so it might work, and usually it won't.

I wish if we had opened it before, at list we could return it.

Steam funky good! This lamp goes perfectly with my rolltop desk. I think it's a tad smaller than I anticipated. It's also over priced for a desk lamp, but I figured that when I purchased it. I wanted a certain Steam Punk/Safari feel to my office and this lamp has definitely added to the ambience.
