This lamp looks better in person than it does in the picture. It has small frosted circles in the body on the lamp that you can't see in the picture. The shade is a two tone material shade that can easily blend with most any decor in your home. The lamp is a heavy sturdy addition to the household. The metal is a polished brass which alleviates the rusting or discoloration from typical brass. After I bought one, I decided to get another one. I get a lot of compliments from it and I absolutely adore it.

This lamp is absolutely beautiful. I is well made and a wonderful addition to my living room. I wish I could afford to buy another one, but that will have to wait until I have more money. I highly recommend.
