I bought this lamp based on the previous review that my cat would like it too. He does, by the way, like to play with the prisms. This lamp is perfect for a bedside table. It has 3 light settings and they all cast a soft, romantic glow to the room. It's perfect if you want something pretty and unique, and not the typical boring lamp.

Purchased this lamp for a sofa table and am pleased with the product. It isn't a high end lamp, but doesn't look cheap, either. I think it will stand up to my kitty playing with the "crystals", which was one of the considerations when purchasing.

This is a gorgeous lamp. You do have to put it together but the touch part is amazing and the light is perfect.

Unlike the picture and the description given by Acme, this lamp is basically plastic. Gold colored plastic, and plastic hanging pieces for the lampshade. The only part of it that is glass is the light bulb! I was misled by the description and the positive reviews, so I hope I can save someone else the cost of return postage that I'm paying. At least it is so lightweight that it won't cost a fortune to return!

It is pretty and would be good for a small child's room because very little on it is breakable, but I'm giving this product only two-stars because of how disapointed I am and how misled I felt. Something made of plastic shouldn't sell for the $42 (plus S&H)that I paid for it (or even the $32 at which it is currently listed).
