We just purchased this for $199 from . It weighs 11 lbs and feels like plastic, so I really doubt it's glass. Also the dragonfly wings are stuck on over the top of the panes. Regardless of materials, it's really, really pretty and the hardware that it came with is nice. We've installed it and it looks good.

Beautiful floor lamp and looks real nice in my living room. The only problem I have with the lamp is that setting it on thick carpet tends to set it off balance. I had to put a shim under it so it would stand up straight.

Pretty to look at but that's about all. The switch doesn't work correctly and this takes a lot away from this light fixture. Decided to keep but it's stuck in a corner rarely used but more for décor. Wound up purchasing 2 other standing lamps from my local Lowes that I love to use. Am quiet disappointed with this purchase.

This lamp fits the bill exactly for what I wanted. I use it on the vanity in the bathroom, and it provides just the amount of subdued light that I wanted. Not exactly enough light in the evening to not need the overhead, but enough to be able to see comfortably to find the room. We have larger, actual oil sea lanterns elsewhere in our home, (which we never light) so these are a nice little electric version. They are a nice nautical touch to our nautical-theme inspired home.

This lamp is OK, but doesn't compare to others I've used for sewing. (My favorite is from bluemaxlighting.com.) The Ottlite could be brighter. It's also very loud to adjust the arm. After almost exactly a year, it is no longer usable because the on/off switch has broken. It is stuck and cannot be turned on or off. I bought mine through Joann.com and they don't offer exchanges or refunds after 90 days.

Mr. Light Desk Top Plant Light with Built-In Tray Reviews

This is a great product. It's a lot more powerful than some other desktop grow lamps and it looks a lot nicer as well. Despite the fact that it is only 30 watts the output of light is perfect for maintaining lowmedium light plants and even growing small leafy herbs and lettuces under the lamp. The base has a nice plant tray that can fit several different size plant pots and the lamp head can be manipulated to the angle of light and closeness you'd like for a particular plant. The only thing I would consider changing about this lamp is making the telescoping feature a little longer. I found that plants in tall pots could be easily burned by the light if they are too close to the bulbs. The leaves will shrivel up and get "sun burned". Other than this I don't think you can go wrong in purchasing this product. Please be advised, even though the description says you can use the lamp as a regular desk lamp I found the light to be exceptionally bright. I keep mine farther away from me on my desk at an angle that faces the opposite direction.

I bought this for a bonsai tree that didn't last long. I wouldn't say it was the fault of the light that the tree died, probably mine in fact. Anyway, I re-purposed the light for my still photography and it's working out just fine. I like the goose neck that let's me point most anywhere. Good save I think.

I adore this lamp. It sits on a console table in my entryway. So different. One comment: Every photo I've seen of it appears to be two-tone silver and brass. However, the actual lamp, at least mine, is far more subtle. While there is a slight tone difference between base, stem and shade, it's not as harsh as shown in photo. Beautiful, distinct lamp!

First, let me state, these lamps ARE cute but if you are looking for something substantial or well made they are not for you. I was as well, and while I was originally going to return one of them for exchange (lamp shade has a small dent in it and the silver is scratched in a few places on the one), I have decided since I was going to "funk up" the shade anyway, I might as well keep them. The seller of these was awesome when I told them they were damaged but they need to advise the manufacturer, while cheap is good, cheaply made is NOT.

Not only was the one damaged, but the bottom of the one whoever glued on the felt base needs glasses. It's on lopsided, causing the lamp to wobble. Where was quality control check for these? Again, since I decided to keep them, given my time constraints for company I have decided to keep them as they are cute and what I was looking for in style but I will be filling the base with some type of heavy material and regluing the bottom. The shades will be perfect for covering in fabric (although originally was going to do paint but given the dent, I cannot).

I'm giving them 3 stars only because the shipper on these was A+++++

I purchased this lamp from Lamps Plus which was a mistake. The lamp base was reasonable enough but the shade is of very poor quality. The shade that came with the lamp was stained and had bad workmanship around the edges making the lamp look very cheap. I emailed Lamps Plus and they sent me a shade replacement which was in worse shape so I emailed them again and they sent a third shade but unfortunately this shade was for a totally different lamp (shade was made out of glass, square in shape, and in no way would fit this lamp). I emailed Lamps Plus again and they have not responded so I may have lost my money. I wrote a review like this one on the Lamps Plus website and they did not publish it, perhaps because of my one star rating. I would not purchase from this seller.

Finally, about a week later I received a new panel in the mail. They did take care of the problem but they were very rude.

Home Depot has these for literally half this price! They stock them in clear in my store and also have them available online. Not sure if they have the colors, though. Check them out before spending this much!

1. The surface is full of imperfections, not the kind that enhances the hand made quality, but something that just says poor craftsmanship.

2. There is a metal ring which you can see in the photo, that screams "cheap"

3. Comes with no instructions and is not easy to hang.

4. This should have been priced at $30, considering its poor quality and craftsmanship.

Needless to say its going back, wasted time and money on this effort.

One start for the design and one star for the ability to return it.

Works great in my kitchen. We've had the lights in for five months now. We took out the flourescent and put in canned lights with four of these hanging Pendants. I think it's a huge improvement and the pendants are a nice design feature, but definitely needed the canned lights also for bright kitchen light. We have pendants on a dimmer, which makes for nice mood lighting. Definitely recommend.

I got this lamp for my birthday, I am a cat lover and thought this tiffany lamp would be really cute in my home. My BF ordered it and it ended up arriving early. It was wrapped and packaged very nicely, nothing was broken (which was one thing I was worried about since it is art glass). It came with 2 lights, one for inside the head and one for the body. It is a bobble head, which makes it pretty cute. I plugged it in and the color was nice, gave off a soft yellow/orange glow and the eyes are green, also it has a pink nose. Overall I really do like the product, but I feel like this glass is a somewhat cheap material compared to other tiffany lamps. My mom has 3 Tiffanys and I feel like the glass on those is brighter and clearer compared to my cat lamp, that's my only complaint. If you like cats I would suggest getting it, if you are more of a Tiffany lamp lover, I would say think about it because it does have a different style compared to their other work.
