The product itself is great and from a distance looks like a real flame. Perfect for the use I was purchasing it for. Unfortunately the packaging for the product was insufficient and the product came broken. The plastic body split in half. I actually sent it back and ordered another one. Unfortunately that one came broken as well. One of the lights had broken off. I was still able to use it for the one time event since I didn't have time to order a 3rd one, but overall I was bummed because when plugged in it really does look like a real flame. I think purchasing it from a local party store would be a better bet, since the company packaging may not be aware of their packing issues.

In my Table Top Flame Lamp Review I have a few things to say you may be interested in if you want to get one...

I super like these lamps as they give a feeling of a warm fire (visually of course) and I've had 2 so far.

The 1st one was a gift and it had an amber flame just as the color appears in the Amazon ads you see. This is a warm flame and very realistic to have in a room. It adds color and character to your environment all year around, not just Halloween or winter.

However, beware that with some of the news ones, they may ship with not an amber flame color, but a red flame.

This is a vastly different effect from the amber flame. My daughter liked it so I kept it but I did 2 things to it to make it better.

I frayed the silk flame fabric with scissors to add a more realistic flame effect to it and I also added in 2 amber strips of fabric in with the red. You can find it in any fabric store.

Of course, use your own discretion on that as you will void any return policy when you modify it like I did. However, it sure made the red flame lamp look so much better with the mixed flame effect.

I secured it to the bottom of the lamp with a little duct tape strip to the bottom of each added flame. It's a fan that blows the air upward so it runs cool and sticks well and is hidden from view.

My best advice is to contact the seller and see if you can verify which color it ships in but the best of the 2 colors by far is the amber flame color.

Your not going to believe this. Not just one of these table top flame halloween props didn't work but both of them that I bought on here didn't work!! Ugh I have less than 10 days till my halloween party. Bought them to stand on the snack table.im so disappointed. Well that's how the cookie crumbles! I'm sending them back. ASAP. Never again with this company.

I got this lamp for my grandson at Christmas time and there's no off/on switch on the cord, like one that I own. It's dangerous for a child to unplug a lamp over & over. There's hardly any material on top to resemble a flame (it's so cheap they could have put much more) I had to 'add' more to make it look like fire! And the fan that propells the 'flame' was blowing one side well but not the other. Spend more and order a better one. I gave him mine.
