I can't imagine how anyone could rate this product 5 stars unless they are literally short-sighted. I bought half a dozen of these bulbs 1 month ago to use in 3 ceiling lights. I am now down to my last bulb. They last an average of 2 weeks not 11 months. There is nothing wrong with the wiring since normal tungsten bulbs last nearly a year. This is a ripoff by GE of major proportions. DO NOT BUY THIS BULB. It is more of a slow flash bulb than a normal light.

I found this in Warehouse deals, for 22.50; I would've returned it if I'd paid the 124.96 price showing currently. The Warehouse deal indicated minor damage to front, back, side of item, but I figured for 22.50 I could live with or fix whatever the blemishes were.

Lamp arrived in a giant box, wrapped in bubble wrap. There were no visible damages to the lamp YAY! However, there's a fairly significant design flaw, if the finial provided is the one actually intended for the lamp. There's not enough room between the finial end and the socket for a regular light bulb to fit seriously! The finial points downward, to hold the shade up no way to get a regular bulb in there. I'm sure I could find a plain nut, at Lowe's, so that a regular bulb would work, but as it is, I'll have to use an appliance bulb.

Other than that, it's a very cute lamp especially for 22.50 just not designed for regular light bulbs.

Reviews of Rubbed Iron Cage Table Lamp - Tan Shade

Customer Ratings:

I purchaesd this lamp for my living room. I have a nice square side table that I was going to put it on next to my couch. The lamp was packaged nicely and was extremely easy to put together. The first thing I noticed was that it was a little smaller than I had imagined. I did read that it was 18.5 inches tall and I thought that would be large enough for that specific table, but it just doesn't look big enough, considering the lamps I had there before. It looks very nice and elegant while still casual enough to put in any room, however make sure you measure correctly because I didn't. I love the look of the lamp and didn't want to return it so I decided to put it next to my bed on the bedside table. I love how it looks so much that just ordered another one for my hubby's side. The quality is great and the lampshade is a nice beige color. Don't expect too much light from the lamp though because of the darker shade. Works very well in the bedroom though! Overall, I am glad I bought it and the price was great! It is also not so light weight that you feel like you're going to knock it over and break it, it actually has a nice weight to it and feels very sturdy.

I purchased this lamp to stand atop a chest of drawers so my daughter could read at night and turn off the light before she goes to sleep without getting out of bed. It is the perfect height. The stand and shade are not miniature, just small versions of a standard size, so this table lamp looks very balanced in her room.

I bought this for my sister and she loves it. The base is heavy and seems solid; the shade doesn't really look like genuine mica, but the overall look is decent. The pull-chains have very nice action.

Discount Swing Arm Table Lamp W/mica Shade

Customer Ratings:

I love this lamp. The mica provides a warm golden color of light that has great appeal for me. It feels cozy, warm, relaxing and secure. I'm using it for a bed side lamp, and it's perfect for relaxing and getting ready to sleep. The swing arm feature makes it a good reading lamp too. Not too dim and not too bright.

KNG Lionel Train Lamp Review

Customer Ratings:

Despite the fact that this lamp looks solid and classic (looks like a real wooden base in the photo with a glass shade), it is actually 100% plastic. We have had it for 7 months and I would not buy it again, nor would I recommend it to anyone with children. The lamp makes a low crackling sound for several minutes after we shut it off, like it settling down after getting too hot (though the bulb we use is the wattage specified by the manufacturer). I never feel very safe when this thing is on, and certainly won't ever leave it unattended or on for too long. Cheap plastic construction.

Several years ago, my wife bought me two different Lionel train lamps at a local Lowes store (way cheaper than what is listed here). After a short while (less than a year), nothing worked on either lamp ~ neither the light nor the operating train. Made of pure, cheap plastic with parts that probably burn through (I purposely used low wattage lights to make sure the lamps didn't overheat but they still burned out WAY TOO SOON). BUYER BEWARE unless you have the tools and know-how to carefully break open plastic components & rewire/replace with lamp parts that will actually last. This is not a knock against these Amazon sellers; the product itself looks sharp but is poorly contructed due to cheap, electrical parts.

I bought this for my 9 year old nephew for Christmas, since he loves trains and wanted train items to decorate his bedroom. As soon as he opened it he had to plug it in the watch the train wheels turn and blow the whistle. I search a few sites to find the best price, Amazon was the best by far.

Honest reviews on KNG Lionel Train Lamp

a must have for any train fan!! beautifully crafted and actually makes the sound of a train when u turn it on.

I bought this lamp for my grandson who just turned nine. He loves all types of trains and wanted a train lamp for his room. He really likes this lamp for on top of his desk. He can turn the sound off if he wants quiet; otherwise he likes hearing the train whistle and watching the wheels turn. I would definitely recommend this lamp.

Tall and slim; water is *not* cloudy. It looks like it has a decent bulb in it, and takes 30 mins to heat up.

I recently purchased this product so I cannot say anything about the durability of it but it was a hit with my 7 year old right out of the box. it was quick to set up and it only took about an hour to get fully going. The only thing I can say is that the base does get very hot so we have to keep it in a safe place to prevent burns but that hasn't been an issue so far. The size is also smaller and thinner than most lava lamps so it makes it easy to find a place for it.

The glow effect from these was OK. I found some at another store that were 'Halloween' black lights and they were not even worth putting on. We also bought some other lights at Lowe's that worked much better than these. If you are looking for great lights to make your room glow, use 'Mood lites, black light'.

The light itself is cool but the brightness is intense, and adjustable to five levels each of three lighting modes. The flexible neck puts the light right where you need it. My wife is a quilter and it has really made her work much easier. Now I want every lamp and light in our home to be this good.

I recently replaced the sofa and loveseat, along with the coffee table and end tables, and wanted to get some really nice lamps to compliment the furniture. These table lamps are ideal. They look beautiful, and were affordable. I almost purchased a set of cheaper lamps but am glad that I settled on these, as they are excellent and I recommend them to everyone

Discount Oval Pretty Floral Bedside Porcelain Table Lamp

Customer Ratings:

This is a quality lamp. I am very pleased. The first lamp came damaged from Amazon's shipping. The seller called me and shipped me a new lamp, so that I didn't have to send mine back to Amazon and order again. Then I sent the defective lamp (it was only the metal parts not the porcelain), back to the seller. The seller went beyond what most would do. They were very frendly and stood behind their word. I would recommend this seller and this lamp to anyone.

Lamp is perfect size and looks very nice on bedroom dresser. The floral pattern is very attractive and shade is interesting shape. I wish the shade was white not ecru/ivory to match the lamp background.

This lamp was described as a crisp white, but was actually a light/powder blue color. The item reads as follows on Amazon, "crisp white background and spray of colorful flowers and green leaves". For the price ($150.00) the color description was very important and should have been correct. I'll have to return it since it doesn't match my bedroom decor.

We recently installed this light to match the 9 light chandelier. It is so pretty and unique. I have gotten a lot of compliments. The light will take 3 100W bulbs. We only have 60W bulbs in it and we have so much light! It is great for tables like mine that get a lot of double duty use as a dining/homework/project table.

These blossoms make no pretense of sophistication but they are a total kick, and people love them. Do not think they will last long the little bulbs are not replacable, and the fabric petals detatch a bit easily, but especially as a night light during a snowy winter they are worth their weight in laughter and good cheer.

The flowers fall off really easy, but they go back on easy, too. They look beautiful, better than other ones I saw online. BUT,the light burn out whole strands at a time within a few weeks. It is no fluke, I ordered replacements only to have them burn out again. Very disappointed!

The picture of this item shows red lights. The lighted flowers are indeed beautiful, but I needed red. I must say that Unique Gadgets and Toys responded relatively quickly and was glad to send a return address label and refund my entire purchase. I appreciate their care for customer service.

Honest reviews on Plum Blossom Light

These Cherry Blossoms are pretty and sweet, a quaint night light in a vase. But they aren't red like the picture. They are 100% pink, which doesn't go in the room I bought them for. Email me if you'd like some pink flowers half price.

This is beautiful and perfect for watching TV "in the dark." I was surprised that it gives off so much light, but IS NOT obtrusive. Whether turned on or off, it is such a pretty addition to a room. Of course, now I just want more of them! Shipped carefully and quickly.
