Overall I like this lamp. It doesn't take up much space and looks elegant. But I am taking two stars off for:

1. It's not very bright.

2. The led lights seem to have only 3 or 4 years of life. Once they are burnt out, they cannot be replaced. The lamp will have to be thrown away.

I bought one of these lamps a few yeas ago for myself and my friend fell in love with it, so I purchased one for her as a Christmas gift. The only thing I did to make it look more authentic, I found flickering bulbs at the hardware store to replace the bulb that comes with it. Now it looks like a real flame in the fireplace. Love it!

I ordered this product after looking at the reviews posted by two other customers...but I don't know what was wrong with them why they recommend this product.

The lamp is of very small size way different that what is shown in the picture.When I tried to return it the company send a email to me that they will charge a return fee along with shipping.

Well I will not recommend this product to anyone ,and if still you are going to order it then keep it in mind if later you plan to return it you have to pay the shipping and some extra fee for it.

Lamp is stunning, provides a nice illumination source and functionality while having a very unique and attractive style. I have had numerous comments and compliments as it immediately grabs attention for its unique style and appeal. The triangular lit area in the center looks very deep and provides a nice "night light" while the main light is perfect for reading or illuminating an area within a room. The quality is very good. For someone seeking contemporary decor, this lamp is ideal. I was initially skeptical and on the fence to order this without first seeing it in person. However, I liked it so much I bought a second one, and will buy a third as a gift for a friend who was very fond of the lamp, but would be unable to afford it. I found one on Ruelala for under $200, but for $250 on Amazon, the price is very reasonable for such a unique and beautiful lamp. I simply have never seen another table lamp quite like this one.

Very nice lamp, fit the need nicely, assembly would have been simple had the manufacturer paid attention to quality control. The two "Finial" assemblies...........fancy bolts that hold the light diffuser and the shade to the top of the lamp.............were of better quality. I am an Automotive Technician (45 years) and this is not an uncommen problem with anything that is manufactured in China, as I see it every day. The threads of the Finials were cast into the part and not cleaned up. I have thread chasers availble to me in my tool collection so it was not a big deal. If my CPA daughter on the other hand were putting it together it would have been a very big deal.

It took months and months of looking online to find the right lamps for our living room. I was a little weary buying something online w/o seeing it in person but I did and they look AWSOME in my living room which we use for the sitting room. They give off a criss cross shadow on the wall, kinda neat. I love them they look great. They were also the cheapest at amazon. I put them together myself, it was easy and they arrived fast.

The pictures a pretty accurate. Just look a the dimensions on the page and you will know how big they are, because that will be the most important thing. If you want a really big lamp, this isn't it. These are average size lamps. The lamps look modern and classy, but aren't too crazy. The materials all seem high quality. They are the type of lamp that you can probably look at in 30 years and still not worry about them looking stupid. I've had them for a year now and they are running and looking great.

This lamp looks better in person, was a bargain and only took 15 minutes to assemble. Two light bulbs were included so I was able to test the lamp once assembled. I did not have problems with the pull chains and the light is sufficient for reading in bed. Overall the quality of this lamp was fine for the price and I may purchase another.

Review of Servus By Honeywell Northerner Series Max Waterproof Boots

I wear a men's size 8.5. These only come in whole sizes. There is no sizing under the Product Description other than for women. Any info. I saw on other Websites said if you wear a half size (in men's) you should go up to the next size, so I ordered a size 9. They arrived today and they are so large that my big toe doesn't reach the textured front part of the boot. I contacted Amazon customer service by chat to see if they had sizing info. I was hoping to use these today and didn't want to exchange for an 8 if they would be too small. The customer service told me to refer to the Product Description which I then told them the Product Description did not provide much information. They then gave me the manufacturer's phone number to call for assistance. I called the phone number and it was for a arts and crafts company called Ranger that doesn't make the boots. I did some Internet searching and found the Website and phone number for Servus/Honeywell Safety Products (the manufacturer, 800-267-6809 servusproductsdotcom). They answered right away. They said a size 8 boot fits a foot up to 9.9 inches long. My foot is just under this, so a size 8 should be perfect. I now have a size 8 coming from Amazon. I'll update when the new boot comes if indeed it is the correct size. Also, if it helps anyone, the customer service said the boots are a "D" width.

Quality-wise, my initial impression is they seem like a very tough rubber boot. The only flaw I see is at the top of the boots where the inside liner meets the outside rubber it is kind of uneven like it was cut with a scissors by hand. Some areas are green rubber, some spots look like the liner and some spots are even and look perfect. I also ordered a pair of boots for my wife and hers look even worse. My only concern is if this will rub on our legs causing eventual pain.

**Update 09-25-13**

The new boots, size 8 still feel pretty big, but I didn't feel like messing around with the return and possibility that a size 7 would be too small. Also, we've been getting a lot of rain, so I really wanted to go test them for my intended purpose which was hiking in a park by us that has been too wet and muddy for regular shoes pretty much all summer. The new boots still had the kind of choppy unfinished look at the top, but I didn't notice it causing any discomfort or affecting the durability. The boots worked awesome for hiking the trails (there is no elevation, mostly mud, sand, foliage and water). I hiked roughly 4 miles on the trails with them and my feet were comfortable the whole time. I always wore a Wigwam pro hiking sock with them and tucked my pants into them. The majority of the trails were under water from a depth of just the boot treads to a few inches from the top of the boot (~13" deep). No leaks at all regardless of the water height or how long I was wading through the water. The trails are so flooded that any normal hiking boot never would have made it (like my Vasque). It is also comforting having a higher boot since there is supposedly water moccasins around. On my first test hike with the boots I came across what I believe was a banded water snake which I thought was a water moccasin at first glance. After days of rain and the water depth increasing, I started using my Leki hiking poles which really helped with balance and navigating the dark, non-translucent water. I would say the temp during my hikes was 80-85F, so like most waterproof things, they can get pretty warm. I went with the sun setting, so the sun wasn't a big factor in heating them up even more. One kind of "duh" moment was the first time I hiked with them when it was raining hard, the rain ran down my pants into the boots a little, but even so it wasn't much water after 4 miles and didn't affect the comfort. These are also great for going out in the yard when it is wet. I've only walked a few blocks with them on cement. It wasn't bad, but I suspect your feet may get tired with extended pavement time. The other thing that was awesome about hiking with them when it is so wet and/or flooded is no one else is anywhere in the park. You have all of the trails and nature to yourself and you see more nature since no one has scared anything away;) Might be time to head to the state parks around the area that will also be flooded...happy trails!

Boot is perfect for working outdoors in wet and dry wooded areas and pasture land. Waterfroof, rugged, protects shins from brush and injury. Much better than cheap, imported "black rubber" boots. I expect these to last for several years and I plan to buy again.

then they sprouted a tiny leak or two. but so far the leaks are tiny and i can live with them. i still wear them every time i go outside and in the garden.

update: october 20, 2013 they are finished. the cracks grew to over an inch each. i got four months use out of these boots. the worst performance of any boot i have tried in recent history.

The Dora lamp was my 3 year old granddaughter's only request for Christmas. I was so thankful to find it for her on Amazon. We were late in ordering but the guaranteed time was before Christmas. It didn't make it by Christmas even though my email notice said it had shipped. It came USPS the day after Christmas. Amazon was wonderful and credited my shipping charges since it didn't come as stated. I'm glad it wasn't a gift from Santa! I don't know that I'd trust the guaranteed shipping time again.

On Christmas day, she told her mom she had to go to a store for one more gift--a Dora lamp. We told her it would come tomorrow and she was very excited to open it up when it came! She loves it. It was exactly as stated in the add and she was very excited about it!! It is on every night in her room as her night light.

This is the perfect lamp for any little girl who loves princesses. My daughter got it for her 4th birthday. It is easy to use with a push button to turn the light on/off. The princesses dance and revolve and talk before the light turns off or on. The only bad thing is the volume is louder than you would want right before bed or if you wake in the middle of the night and turn it on. It could also use a night light feature. I had seen a different princess lamp w/the night light. It is also expensive but will last.

This light therapy lamp is not the prettiest or smallest (though I don't think it's ugly nor excessively huge either), but it is very solid in long-term performance and sturdiness. I've had one for years, have moved homes with it three times, tossed it carelessly in the closet for spring and summer (I know, I shouldn't do that) and still works like day one. If you have a spot where you can set it and don't need something portable or high fashion, this lamp will stand by you for years to come. It also can be angled down, so that you can sit next to it or in front (I usually read for a bit by it's light) without burning your eyes off. I have SAD, but I also have very sensitive eyes and didn't want something I had to stare right into like some of the others that emit light right out of the front. If you want it straight on, you can do that too, but that's too much for my eyes and this lamp gives me options that work.

I've owned this light for 4 or 5 years now. It has performed flawlessly. The parabolic design lets me sit several feet away, without it blinding me, and do my deskwork naturally. It is UV safe for the eyes. I get seasonal depression in winter or any time of the year if I'm not outside in the sun enough and this is the next best thing to being outside on a sunny day. I use it every day. With this light, I can work at my desk and keep a "sunny" disposition. I wouldn't want to spend a day indoors without it.

Light therapy is very potent, with potential for great benefit, but it has equal potential for messing up your sleep cycle and energy levels when used inappropriately.

This is a GREAT lamp. I finally settled on it after trying out two Apollo products, which proved to be too harsh for my eyes (Apollo uses a very white light). This light is somewhat softer, and I am able to use it without nausea or headache, which I experienced with the other lights. The SADelite does the trick beautifully-it has boosted my energy, and the quality is excellent. I gave the Apollo brite lite to a friend who can use it without any difficulty. My advice -if at all possible, try to visit a store so that you can actually see the lights before you buy! The Apollo lights are great products, but too harsh for some people.

I'm now heading into the third winter of using this lamp in Northern Europe and am completely satisfied. Also recommended it to several friends who are also pleased with it, and so when I saw the negative reviews recently I decided to contribute a review citing my more positive experience. Before purchasing this lamp I tried a lamp with primarily blue light by a different manufacturer which turned out to be too strong for me. After a few days of using it in the mornings for about 15 minutes, I couldn't sleep. My doctor recommended a softer light, and so I tried this lamp and it has worked perfectly for me. I highly recommend it. It's a great desk lamp, and I like the convenience of being able to adjust the angle and height of the light.

A lovely lamp, however the soldering was rough around the edges and some small pieces of soldering came away. Had to change the electrics to 240 via an electrician, as is required in Australia. Suggest that amazon offer either 110 or 240 to cater for more customers' needs. The lamp arrived ahead of time and was well packed. The lamp is very pretty when lit at night.

This is a very attractive lamp. It does not take a regular light bulb though. I did get a compact florescent in it. I also would have preferred to have an actual light switch rather than the cord switch as they are hard to find in the dark. However, that said, I do like it enough that I will not send it back. It looks great in our office and being black and white it goes with everything! The shipper was very quick to ship and it was packaged well.

We ordered two of these lamps as bed side table lamps, they are amazing. We used a 120watt bulb in one, for doing laundry or working in the room. And a 40 watt bulb for...well other things in the room. The shade lets off a slight pink tint in the low light which is quite nice. The black lines are thin and mesh perfectly with black bed side tables/headboards. The white carries white walls over nicely, and the red with a bed spread set or rug is very lovely!
