Review of Artkalia Matrix II Desk Lamp, Aluminium
Overall I like this lamp. It doesn't take up much space and looks elegant. But I am taking two stars off for:
1. It's not very bright.
2. The led lights seem to have only 3 or 4 years of life. Once they are burnt out, they cannot be replaced. The lamp will have to be thrown away.
Great design
I like this lamp it is very low profile and is better priced than some other LED desk laps.

Picture shows various shades of green on this lamp, but it's a dark green...all the same color. It's ok...just not what I wanted!

I bought this lamp for my Granddaughter as a Christmas gift. The picture doesn't do it justice. The green color is vibrant and the lamp is very well made. I know she'll love it!!Best Deals for Three Cheers Lime Paillette Table Lamp
Very cheaply made product.. in my mind not close to worth the money spent. It is being sent back. My wife and i tried many configurations of light bulbs and they can always be seen when the light is on....the dangling parts are thin plastic, not glass. Yuk...Honest reviews on Three Cheers Lime Paillette Table Lamp
the lamp looks great in my daughters room. it did come a little bent but it was easy to straighten out. i thought that the green diskes were made of something metalic but it is just laminated paper so not sure how long it will last.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Three Cheers Lime Paillette Table Lamp
This lamp is not the color shown. It is a bright Christmas green. The manufacture accepted my return and promptly refunded. I reordered the same lamp in Fuschia. The Fuschia is true to color and a fun addition to my daughter's room.

This lamp looks great; the only problem with it is assembly. It arrived with the socket unscrewed. While I'm sure this is standard with lamps, the difficulty was in getting it in. The cord needed to be pushed into the lamp, and it really needed to be forced. I could only get it a couple centimeters at a time until I removed the base and was able to pull it in rather than push it. (The base was on with only flimsy glue, so it wasn't a problem to remove and put back on.)
It was mildly frustrating, but I'm happy with the finished product.

This lamp is very light weight and not well proportioned. The legs are too "skinny" and the glass shelf is too high. If the lamp is placed next to a chair, you have to reach up to place a drink or anything else on it. The shade was dented in on one side, so we have to turn it so the dent isn't visible. It isn't worth the money!a nice piece. im definately happy with it but i thought it would be overall bigger. I guess thats on me not measuring it right, but like i said good buy

Cheap LEDwholesalers 9 red LED Light Flashlight Aviator AAA Torch
For the more serious astronomer, who views from dark sites and wants to protect every bit of night vision, this flashlight has two problems. It is too bright, and the "red" appears closer to orange. You eyes will not be fully dark-adapted for viewing faint galaxies and nebulae if you use this light.
However, for casual observing or student use in light polluted settings, or non-astronomical use, this flashlight is sufficient. It is well made and is a handy size, and for the price is hard to beat.
Let me assure you that it does put out only red light; like others, I saw the picture on Amazon showing clear LEDs and worried about what I was getting, but when turned on they emit red light. The light is "red enough" for night use, not orange.
The beam is bright and quite collimated, but this did not seem to be too much of a problem when used with our telescope. The front is 1 inch in diameter, with a flat piece of clear plastic protecting the nine LEDs. It doesn't appear to be a focusing lens; the LEDs themselves are fairly collimated, and all aligned, and project light in one direction. You could conceivably tape some sort of diffuser over the front. I found that the translucent cap from a small bottled plastic water bottle was the right size and would diffuse the beam, but didn't bother to try this. I'll try it next time, to soften and spread the beam for astronomy use.
At a distance of 1 foot, the brightest part of the beam is a uniform 3.5 inches. At 3 feet it's about 12 inches in diameter. Outside these circles there's still light but much weaker.
Th flashlight is metal with a large pushbutton at the rear covered with a flexible rubber-like material 5/8 inch in diameter, and it appears reliable and sturdy (although I've only used it for a few weeks). The rear unscrews to open the battery compartment, and this cover is sealed with an O-ring the keep out water. The front 1 inch cylinder (with the the LEDs) also unscrews (also sealed with an O-ring), and the battery holder will slide out this way as well. I certainly wouldn't use it underwater, but it seems fairly sealed against occcasional moisture.
There is a slot at side of the rear with a removable 5/8 inch metal ring (like a keyring) that holds a 2 inch lanyard. You could attach something longer, e.g., if you wanted to wear it around your neck. It's fairly lightweight with batteries.
I've noticed a spate of flashlights with very similar metal construction and on/off rear pushbuttons. The battery holders are identical: a cylindrical assembly that holds three AAA batteries and has an arrow on the side to show the insertion direction. This also seems well-made. Because LEDs draw little power, I'd imagine it lasts a long time on these batteries, but I haven't tested this.
Because I have five very similar flashlights from different sources (normal, UV, with embedded red laser, etc.) with very similar metal bodies, on/off buttons, and battery holders, I'm guessing that there's one manufacturer (or a few; in China?) producing all of them to slightly different specs. They all seem reliable; I've never had an issue with the pushbuttons, although you might get the occasional lemon.
I think these similar flashlights vary a lot in retail price, but my purchase (from LEDWhilesalers and fulfilled by Amazon with Prime shipping) cost $15 9 red LED Light Flashlight Aviator AAA Torch Astronomy, 7301 blue, and that's a pretty good deal. So overall I'm very pleased, and would recommend this item.
It's a decent, well made product though.

I purchased this flashlight for night-time astronomy, because red light does not have much effect on night vision. It works as desired. The output is fairly strong and collimated, enough that I've used it to walk in the dark and avoid obstructions on the ground, and maybe a little bright close-in to the telescope, but not intolerably bright. A bit painful if you look straight into the beam, even in daylight.Let me assure you that it does put out only red light; like others, I saw the picture on Amazon showing clear LEDs and worried about what I was getting, but when turned on they emit red light. The light is "red enough" for night use, not orange.

I purchased this flashlight for a night time volunteer project I was on. It was purchased along with the Maxxima flashlight I have also reviewed. I anticipated that this flashlight, having MORE led's than the Maxxima would be brighter. NO. It's not bad and it has a compact size which works well when you want to just slide it in a pocket. But if you are looking for distance, you won't have it. This really is about up close, need to read something and don't want to lose my night vision. It's a decent, well made product though.

I received this "red LED light flashlight" and saw that the LED's were clear (white). Without even trying it out, I immediately responded with bad reviews----and as a last minute thought, decided to put batteries in it. To my surprize, it projected a RED beam as promised. My previous review hopefully will be removed and replaced with this one. The product is exactly as described. The seller was quite prompt and the entire transaction was flawless...except for my own ignorance. I apologize to Amazon and the seller. This is a great little RED BEAM flashlight that will work wonderfully for my astronomy hobby.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for LEDwholesalers 9 red LED Light Flashlight Aviator AAA Torch
I use this on the beach at night to watch sea turtles. It's chinese made, so the build is not like american flashlights, but they used o-rings at both ends to seal out moisturevery cool. I doubt you'll find a better red led flashlight at this price.Sunday, April 20, 2014

If you want a nice little desk lamp that puts out decent light for reading or writing but not illuminating the whole room then this is for you. Sturdy base and construction. Design makes it nice to hang jewelry from. Only complaint is that the on/off is on the cord. It'd be nicer if it was on the lamp area somehow but its not too annoying.

Well worth the price, very high quality, and casts a nice warm glow about the room.Best Deals for Kenroy Home Wright CollectionTable Lamp
The lamp looks great, but the build quality is not so great. 1) The power switch is on the cord, and; 2) The stem is not tightly connected to the base(at least on mine).1) The switch is 12" behind the lamp on the cord. In any situation I can imagine, this will leave the power switch behind the desk or end table and be hard to access. It's either that or leave 12 inches of cord on the table so you can find the switch.
It would have been easy to design and manufacture this lamp with a dark brown toggle switch on the base. It could be hidden on the side or placed right on top.
2) My lamp's post is loose on the base and easily swings left and right. I will have to remove the felt glued to the bottom of the base to see if it can be tightened, or live with it lose.
Not sure yet if I will return it or take it apart and try and fix the base and maybe even install a proper toggle switch on the base.
Otherwise, I like the amount and quality of light through the shade and like how the lamp looks on the whole.
Honest reviews on Kenroy Home Wright CollectionTable Lamp
I really like the quality of this lamp. It's very heavy and substantial, and has a subtle elegance I don't often see in this price range. What a good deal!I ordered only one at first because I wasn't sure if it would look good in my bedroom. It looks terrific, so I'm going to order another one for the other side of the bed.
I will keep my fingers crossed that it makes it here intact. Unfortunately, the first shipment arrived with the shade in shards, but the replacement made it through the shipping process in one piece. And even with super saver shipping, it arrived the next week.

I purchased this lamp intended as a gift for newlyweds. It arrive well-packaged in outwardly good condition, but when removed from the box, there was an obvious large, gaping crack at the "t" where the horizontal piece holding the shade crosses the narrow, upright "stem" portion. It appeared that a repair had been attempted. The crack opening allowed me to see past the dark exterior finish and deep into the composition material. As it turns out, the lamp is not metal (as listed in the description). It is a type of a polymer materiallooking for all intents and puposes, as a standard white plastic. There is no type of supporting rod nor any metal reinforcement under the plastic. The upright piece holding all of the weight is composed completely of the polymer material, which explains why the lamp cracked at a most vulnerable spot where the arc holding the shade piece was attached. Other than this disappointment, the lamp is outwardly attractive, a generous size, and a very fair price for a Craftsman-style piece. If sturdiness is not a requirement for you, it is an acceptable puchase. Because of the upright design, a break would not be amenable to a lasting repair without some type of an interior reinforcement being added. Since it will be a gift, I prefer to look for something more long-lasting.Tuesday, March 25, 2014

Loved this when I first got it. Used it three times. Excellent on the black piano and lights both music AND keyboard. A rarity. Sleek and sort of also, disappears at the same time, which is what I wanted. Worked the first time but kept cutting off. Second time I used it it worked fine. Third time, it cut off, and we cannot get it to turn back on! Checked to be sure it wasn't the outlets. Nope. Even tried the cord in a different appliance. Nope. So, I don't know what's the matter. Great idea. Too bad it doesn't work. You have to piece this thing together yourself with minimal instructions....sort of all tension fit sort of thing, so, I wonder........? Perfect looking. Just aint' workin'!Very sleek, fits perfectly on our desk. Has dimming setting perfect light for computer. I recommend this lamp for any desk!

Ambience Golden Stone Floor Lamp Reviews
I looked at over 100 floor lamps before I choose this one. The lamp is made of resin and is slightly darker than the photo (not as white as pictured) and the gold accents look great (not too bright). It looks perfect with my new chenille old world/tuscan sofa set. The other lamps I was considering cost $ 250 to $ 400 and this lamp is a bargain compared to the others. I am thrilled with my purchase.

Discount DEI Baseball Ball Sports Table Lamp Accent Desk Light
My grandson has a sports oriented theme in his bedroom and needed a bedside lamp. So many of the lamps looked the same and didn't appear very durable. I found this lamp on Amazon, ordered it and gave it to him for a Christmas present. He loved it as did I. It is very well made and is unique with the baseballs for the 'stem'. It seems most lamps just had pictures on the lampshades. This lampshade carries the baseball theme with the red stitching. I strongly recommend this lamp!

This is a really cute lamp and seems to be made well. My only complaint and I noticed this in earlier comments is that the shade was bent in multiple places upon delivery. We needed two short lamps to provide reading and accent light on either side of a sofa in a room we recently redecorated. We didn't want to spend much money for this area but wanted lighting that looked soft, unimposing and a bit contemporary. These little lamps are adorable. They look exactly as the photo. No surprises. Actually, they are a bit more substantial than I had imagined. They came in great shape although one of us (I won't mention my husband) broke one of the lamps and we had to order yet another one. So much for trying to keep our budget manageable. I gave three stars because they are perfectly satisfactory for our needs but not a five-star lamp quality.
