Very Cute! It was easy to install and mount. Looks great in our little mans nursery along with the kidsplace ceiling lamp of the man in the moon. Pricey but we love them.

Cheap Woodbridge Lighting 13481MEB-M00MIR Eclipse 1-Light Table Lamp

Customer Ratings:

While the lamp itself is nice the "shade" it comes with looks way different than the picture. It is actually a mosiac of shards of silver, reflective mirror! it is not the nice soft gold/amber color pictured. I reminds me of a 70's disco ball and it really doesn't go with the antique bronze base of the lamp! We managed to find some glass shades intended for pendant lights at the local home improvement store and now the lamps look much better but it was more effort(and money) than I wanted to spend on lamps.

Highly recommend this light, especially for the price.

Note: There is no filter. There is no screen. However, with that said, based on the height of your pole, then bulb is not easily seen unless you angle yourself underneath the light. When the lights are on, it illuminates the entire can giving you the impression that there is a filter/screen.

We installed three of these lights and really like them. Will post some photos.

AWESOME pendant for the price. I looked for MONTHS for a pendant of this style that was better priced than the nearly identical Benson pendant from Restoration Hardware. We are extremely happy with them. Was a little concerned about the finish since I ordered them online but they are a beautiful chrome. Would highly recommend.

The lights came and they are just what I expected. They have a slight industrial look which is exactly what I was going for. The down poles come in various sizes which makes hanging the lights at the perfect height very easy.

Best Artisan Lighted Magnifying Daylight Desk Lamp w/Clamp Deals

Customer Ratings:

If you do close-up things, you need this lamp! Taking a splinter out... changing a battery in a watch... reading a product warrantee... checking how wrinkled your hands have become (sorry!)... doing fine calligraphy... doing maintenance on a sewing machine and much more.

It is sturdy and well made. The packaging is great and shipping is fast.

I bought this product as a gift for my husband who loves to build models but has had trouble seeing the small parts lately. He has only had it a month or so, so I can't comment on durability. That said, it arrived quickly and in perfect working order. The light is not only bright, it's enclosed which is a great point for him as he works with tools right next to it (and thwacking the bulb would be an easy thing to do). It attaches easily and the cord is long enough to reach the 6 or so ft. to the outlet. It took him all of 5 minutes to set it up. The magnification is great! I've even used it to read tiny print on a bottle that I couldn't quite make out.

Highly recommended.

I mounted this light on my workbench, and I use it for reloading purposes. It is perfect for what I intended it for. I use it during case prep to inspect each case head for small cracks and imperfections. My only complaint is that the fluorescent light interferes with my digital scale, but I knew about that before buying it. This light is sturdy, well built, and functions as expected.

Honest reviews on Artisan Lighted Magnifying Daylight Desk Lamp w/Clamp

Delivered on time and as represented. Seems to be good quality and sure does help when working on the plug connections on a motherboard.

Mostly a decent lamp but a huge complaint of mine is that it refuses to stay in position where I need it. Tightening the knobs doesn't even come close to helping. I had to add a weight to the light to get it to somewhat cooperate but is still quite a pain to use while soldering because of that. Otherwise the light is good and the magnification is good.

Best Lamp Part - Locknut Deals

Customer Ratings:

My Locknut. My wife made a white velvet cushion to place our locknut on in our living room. We pause in awe whenever we go by it. When we have company they are overwhelmed at the sight of it. It has made a great difference in our lives. We are fortunate indeed. Thanks from the bottom of our hearts.

It looks great, it's comfortable and the price was right. However, it is hard to get up from. I love Papasan chairs but the big ones were hard to get up from. I thought this would be easier, but it isn't. If you're a senior citizen, you probably should pass on this

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I work on many different types of crafts (beading, stamping, embroidery, etc). As I am closing in on fifty, my ability to see up close is being hampered. This lamp/magnifier allows me to see even better than I did when I was twenty and working on the projects. With it I have far fewer frustrating mistakes that make me have to go back and re-do. It clips on the any work table, so I can simply move it anywhere I need to. I also tend to work on my crafts after work while watching TV. The light with the magnifier is great in this regard. I have used other magnifiers, but they did not help much when it was dark and would tend to throw light back toward my face if I brought a lamp over. This product has made life much easier.

Although I do not need it for reading, I would imagine that someone who had problems reading text, or was reading a book that was not available in large print, would also extremely helpful.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program This light provides a great natural light and magnification for projects that require precision. My eye sight is pretty good, so I don't regularly use the magnification, but when I was working on needlepoint it worked great when I needed to see the small stitches. I will be purchasing this lamp (without the clip, for my aunt for Christmas, she knits and sews and this would make a great gift for her!) Highly recommended.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I found this light the be just the right size for the occasional jewelry work I do. The brightness was good without being blinding. Importantly I find the color representation to be accurate. I also love that I can just unclip it and toss it in the big catch-all drawer in my desk when I'm not using it.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I love this lamp/magnifier!! I always thought it would be great to have one, especially each time I pull out the magnifying glass the then try to find proper lighting. All has been solved because this item now has a permanent place on my desk. It is small and doesn't have the highest magnification but it sure serves the purpose if this all you need. Recommended.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program This is a great light for crafts, beading and any fine work where well directed light and magnification is needed.

The clamp is very strong and holds to the desk edge securely. The neck is stiff which is good because it holds the head in place without it drooping.

The head has a very nice light, white and maybe slightly bluish. The center has a flap that lifts to reveal the magnifying glass.

The power cord is about 6 feet long and has a switch about 1 1/2 feet from lamp. It would have been much more convenient to have the switch close to the clamp.

All things considered, this is a very good lamp for beading or crafting. It's strong and secure, seems very well made, and gives a very nice light that is not harsh on the eyes.

I give it 4 stars, a better placed switch would have earned it a 5.

I bought this lamp for my study but unfortunately it was so classy that we put it in the living room along with all the rest of our arts and crafts furniture and lights. It is an excellent buy and there are lamps out there that do not look nor perform as well for twice to three times the price. I would recommend this lamp to any and all and with no reservations whatsoever.

Everyone who steps in our newly decorated living room, tells us how attractive the lamps are (we have 3) They are beautiful. My only problem is the switch on the cord. Everything else is perfect!

Honest reviews on Pacific Coast Lighting 87-1242-20 Orbit 1-Light Table Lamp, Bronze

This stylish lamp is high quality, great design and gives a surprising amount of light. The only thing I might wish was different is the switch in the cord. It would be better to locate an on-off switch on the lamp base.

Since Amazon always tries to assist us in getting the best deal for our money, I navigated away from the site and explored the Wayfair site in search of a sale.Well, I found it at a savinfgs of $20! I placed the order on November 9th. As I continued to search the site, I found a different colored lamp with that same unique style, which I decided would better fit my decor. I immediately called the Wayfair company back and was told I would have to cancel, and reorder. I was also told that had I ordered that color initially, I would have been offered two-day shipping. I checked the site, and 2-day shipping was listed under the bronze color, but not the black lamp I had ordered originally. I decided to wait until my refund was received, and then call back to place the new order. To ease my feelings of uncertainty, I called Wayfair two days later, and was again told that there would be no problem, the item had not shipped as yet. Lo and behold, I received an email yesterday that the refund wasn't approved, since the item had already shipped! Angry, I called the company and was told that both lamps had two-day shipping, and it was too late to intervene. Two make matters worse, I've been told that once it is delivered, I will be reesponsible for the shipping costs to return the item! They plan to deduct the charges from my refund...What nerve!!! I will order from Amazon once this mess has been resolved. Lesson learned!!!!

Picture showed a lamp shade on the lamp and no where was it stated "lamp base only" or "does not include shade". I think this was misleading. The lamp is slightly different looking than the picture and I am having great difficulty finding a shade that fits. It is a huge size lamp base that does not fit a large size lamp shade. I purchased the largest size shade (H-13.375") at Lowes which according to other online sites appears to be close to the correct measurement for this particular lamp. This lamp shade & base are not proportionate to each other, however, they appear to be proportionate looking in the picture. The overall look is awkward. Could this be a bait and switch? Customer beware!

This light is really nice. No crappy plastic, all metal. Comes with a really powerful bulb. It gets hot, but they thought this one through and gave you the little bar to move it around. Really nice light.

Not satisfied with this at all. I'll use it until the light burns out then toss it. The head is too heavy for the flexible neck to support, and repositioning anything pops off the clip. I ended up getting the position right by propping up the head for support, then running a line of epoxy down the flexible neck. It does flex anymore, but at least it stays in place. Then I had to cut cardboard pads for the clip, opening the clip wider and getting enough force from the clip spring to keep it in place. Thank goodness for my engineering degree!

Have been using it for last 4-5 months. Joined school which means lot of reading and laptop work, so I purchased albeit the price tag was high. So, far I found it decent. Bluish light, two brightness setting, reasonably stable on the table. This light is good for reading and laptop. But if you want light spread across a larger table, this is not the right one.

Update after 2 years of use: the plastic cover for the lamp got loose and keeps falling a nuisance. Otherwise, no complaints.

After reading the reviews and comparisons on the manufacturers web site, I thought I had found the perfect lamp to spend my many tedious hours examining fingerprints with.

Needless to say, I was quite disappointed to find that this lamp lacked the brightness that I had thought it would have. Even though this lamp has a two-way switch that enables one to change between a high & low lamp output... I found that I had to have the lamp closer to my work than I wanted in order to achieve the brightness that I required.

I also found the base to be somewhat "tippy" when the light portion of the lamp was not adjusted parallel the base.

In fairness to the manufacturer, this lamp did cast an even light that was comfortable to to read under for extended periods of time.

Would I buy this lamp again... probably not, especially at the retail prices they are selling for.

Purchased this lamp December 2007 from Amazon.com. It stopped working January 2009. Verilux honored the three year warranty, first by replacing the bulb (not the problem), then sending a new lamp. Defective one returned in the packaging that came with the new one. Impressed with the prompt customer service and have enjoyed the quality of the light.

I bought this lamp because it says it doesnt give off any glare and is easy on the eyes for reading, doing crafts, sewing........... Well it doesnt giove off much light either!!!! So you need another source of light in your work area also......... I didnt think it would fill up the room with beautiful NATURAL light but c'mon.........all in all its an overpriced night light!!!

I purchased this lamp for my son upon the recommendation of his psychiatrist for seasonal affective disorder. The lamp worked for less than six weeks. We purchased a replacement bulb it turned out to be the ballast. Neither the manufacturer nor Amazon customer service have been responsive in addressing our warranty issues.
