Picture showed a lamp shade on the lamp and no where was it stated "lamp base only" or "does not include shade". I think this was misleading. The lamp is slightly different looking than the picture and I am having great difficulty finding a shade that fits. It is a huge size lamp base that does not fit a large size lamp shade. I purchased the largest size shade (H-13.375") at Lowes which according to other online sites appears to be close to the correct measurement for this particular lamp. This lamp shade & base are not proportionate to each other, however, they appear to be proportionate looking in the picture. The overall look is awkward. Could this be a bait and switch? Customer beware!
