On the advice of a friend, I chose to mix the colors up a bit instead of buying two lamps exactly the same. As I mentioned in the review of the other lamp, see below, I was just as pleased with this choice. Not sure if all Quoizel lamps are made in China but the two I purchased are of solid construction and colors true to the advertisement. I wish I could have afforded to buy American made products, but the cost of similar items were too prohibitive for me at this time.

I spent a great deal of time looking at different lamps and reading reviews before choosing this one. While it is made in China, what else is new, it is attractive, sturdy and substantial. While I've heard others talk about receiving lamps that had glass colors very different from the pictures on Amazon, that was not the case for me. When I opened the box and put it together, it looked as I expected and is very attractive in my living room.

This is a magnificent chair very regal looking. I fell in love with the similar chair on the television show "Revenge" and searched and searched. It is high backed and the nail trim is darker than it appears so it is not "shiny" or cheap looking. The chair legs are lighter than they appear so consider that when ordering. Otherwise I LOVE my chair.

This is the perfect lamp for clipping onto your headboard in order to read in bed. Nice styling/shape. It takes a 60 watt bulb (most little lamps take only up to 40 watts, I think). The hood is white inside giving more reflected light. I highly recommend this lamp. . . . and a great price, too.

I purchased two of these to use as bedtime reading lamps. One of them is perfect and is exactly what I was hoping for. The other isn't and it droops... the neck can't support the weight so I have to bend it at a funky angle to get it to stay which is a little bit disappointing. Overall a solid lamp for the price, but beware of the drooping issue.

If you try to install this on a vertical board, say on a headboard as a reading lamp, it just falls over limply. Since I would imainge this is one of the main reasons people would buy this lamp, that seems like a handicap. It works better if installed on a horizontal board, such as the edge of a desk. And it would be easier to use if it had a switch on the lamp coard instead of on top of the lampshade, which gets hot if you use an incandescent bulb.

Since Amazon always tries to assist us in getting the best deal for our money, I navigated away from the site and explored the Wayfair site in search of a sale.Well, I found it at a savinfgs of $20! I placed the order on November 9th. As I continued to search the site, I found a different colored lamp with that same unique style, which I decided would better fit my decor. I immediately called the Wayfair company back and was told I would have to cancel, and reorder. I was also told that had I ordered that color initially, I would have been offered two-day shipping. I checked the site, and 2-day shipping was listed under the bronze color, but not the black lamp I had ordered originally. I decided to wait until my refund was received, and then call back to place the new order. To ease my feelings of uncertainty, I called Wayfair two days later, and was again told that there would be no problem,the item had not shipped as yet. Lo and behold, I received an email yesterday that the refund wasn't approved, since the item had already shipped! Angry, I called the company and was told that both lamps had two-day shipping, and it was too late to intervene. Two make matters worse, I've been told that once it is delivered, I will be reesponsible for the shipping costs to return the item! They plan to deduct the charges from my refund...What nerve!!! I will order from Amazon once this mess has been resolved. Lesson learned!!!!

This Dale Tiffany lamp looked great in the pictures but I wondered if I received a flawed lamp. The cord, although long enough, had an huge (4"x3") AC adapter power supply block about 8 inches from the base of the lamp. The on/off switch was then down 3 feet on the cord. Therefore, if you put the lamp on any table or dresser the big power adapter is very noticeable (the lamp itself is small and you can't hide the adapter behind it) and the on/off switch is on the floor! I wondered if this lamp was meant to be put on top of a high bookcase or dresser, where eventually I had to put it the lamp itself is quite nice. Another problem was attaching the glass "sunflowers" on the base. It took a careful hand to fit these on as the opening in the glass was such a tight fit to the lamp "stem" resulting in some small shards of glass breaking loose and some tense moments when I thought the glass would break in my hand. One sunflower didn't fit at all until some help with pliers and a small screwdriver to fix a flaw on the "stem". In the end I got it assembled without any major breaks which I was grateful for because this lamp (which I got at a great reduced price) was a non-returnable item (not purchased from Amazon). I have quite a few Dale Tiffany lamps in my house and this is the first one I am a bit disappointed with.

I ordered two of these because they are so unique and the colour in the image appears to be perfect for what I was looking for. Unfortunately, I received two lamps, but both were damaged. The glass ball on one lamp has a haze on the surface of it, and I tried rubbing it, lightly scratching it with my fingernail, wiping with Windex, and wiping with rubbing alcohol, but nothing worked. The other glass ball on this lamp is fine however. On the second lamp, the top ball has two vertical cracks on the inner layer of glass (there are two layers, a coloured (sparkly) layer under a clear layer) that run the entire height of the top ball. On the bottom ball there is an obvious shattering that has occured over a 1/2" square section.

I am very disappointed, as it is unlikely that this could have occured during the shipping to my location, as the boxes were not in terrible (but not great) condition. This therefore suggests that they left the warehouse like this, and there obviously isn't anyone in charge of giving them a good inspection before sending them out. Not really sure if I should take the chance of ordering two more, as it costs me an additional $52 in taxes to have them brought in to Canada. This is money that I cannot get back, even when I get the full refund of the costs of the lamps themselves. So, ordering two more would cost me another $52, and again I would be taking the chance of them arrived in less-than-perfect condition (requiring another return).

I do love the convenience of the two pull switches, and the shade is beautiful. I did not expect the glass balls to have sparkles on the inner layer, it would be helpful if the image provided on the website allowed for zooming. I might not have ordered in the first place if I had seen the sparkles, however that being said, they are not overly obvious from a distance, and it is a nice sparkle design, and does not look like something my 4 year old would do.

Long story short, take your chances, but you are dealing with a glass product. I am zero for two, and not sure if I want to risk going zero for four.

EDIT: used rubbing compound to get the haze off the one glass globe, and sent the broken lamp back for an exchange. Hopefully this time it arrives undamaged, i will post again when I know. Happy to say that returning/exchanging the item has been a breeze!

This is a beautiful lamp with a lot of good things going for it. First of all, love the two pull chains. This really beats reaching your hand up and under a shade to find the little screw knob. Also great are the two beautiful red glass globes and the high-quality, absolutely lovely fabric shade. The shade's color is more of a taupe/beige/grey when the light is not on. It took about 2 minutes to assemble and it arrived in good shape although the shipping box looked worn and was a little damp. Before I mention the less-than-perfect items, you must know that I am an A-type personality and love symmetry. Also, there is No "Perfect Lamp" out there at least I have not found one in 35 years. It seems that no lamp is quite straight, and although this one is not either, it seems straight to the naked eye (I used a level to determine this). Also, there is the smallest scratch (about 1/8th of an inch) on one of the glass balls, but this is definitely not noticeable to anyone without getting within 3 inches of it. Finally, the bottom red globe is about 1/16th of an inch off-center but again this is not obvious. So after saying all this, I still find it nicer than some other expensive lamps I have. I'm not sure if I will buy a second one to match (I wanted to check one out first), or buy another Dale Tiffany with some red accents to complement this one. I am definitely keeping it.

It is slick in design, will not take unnecessary space perfect lighting and modes. Lol depending on the mode you use, it actually suggests to turn off. If you have it on "relaxing" for over 2 hours the on off button will flash suggesting to turn it off. This lamp is easy to use, easy to fold, easy to adjust brightness in each setting, and easy to change light directions. You can get the light from yellow to white, and from dim to bright. The USB port for charging ipod and iphone is so convenient. And the lamp itself is beautiful.

I use this light in my computer room, and it is great to be able to adjust the light temperature. Based upon the ambient light in the room at the time, or if i want to watch a movie, I can make the adjustments to view easier. The USB charger on the side is a nice touch also, but it won't put out enough power to charge a cell phone. It does work though for my wireless keyboard.

My daughter-in-law had this sweet little mushroom lamp on her Amazon Wish List for our first grand-baby...and we purchased it for them for Christmas. When I saw it, it was just as adorable as pictured.
