Cheap `Dark Chopper` Grim Reaper Skeleton Motorcycle Table Lamp
I love the lamp but when received it was broke. The lamp stem was broke away from the base. The bolt that hold the electric cord to the base is too big so in oder to fix it, it will have to be replaced. It is something that can be fixed but @ my addititonal expense. Love it, but disappointed.

I purchased two lamps for my living room to replace some that were dated. One of the two lamps that was shipped only worked on one side, but of course I didn't know this before I assembled the lamp and turned it on for the first time.
Amazon makes returns easy and fast, and I had a replacement quickly.
The weird thing is that my old lamps took 100 watt bulbs. These take two 60 watt bulbs. But instead of being brighter, I actually seem to have less light. The shades are light enough that this shouldn't be the reason. Can't explain it.
The lamp is nice, but I have a suspicion this model will not hold up as long as my previous lamps did. (The old lamps worked perfectly but were simply out of style.) Some of the parts had dings and gouges. Because these are in places that no one will notice but me, I decided to keep the lamps. I thought Kichler was a quality product. FYI-these are manufactured in China.
So I'm still very happy with Amazon, but won't feel the same about the Kichler brand as I once did.

I entertain a fair amount in the summer. To keep airconditioning costs in check I use a fan to circulate the air. That is a problem when burning dinner candles. These are perfect and were packed so well that there was no breakage even though they are pretty fragile.

I am using this lamp indoors. It matches another slate lamp I bought for my sofa table. It is unique with the distressed copper accent and the shade is made with microfiber. The shade is a little dark but it is nice lighting for my livingroom. The base is a dark stained wood. There is a glass dome that covers the bulb, this makes it worthy of an outdoor lamp as well, very clever design. The height works well on my end table for reading. It also came very well packaged so it was in perfect shape when it arrived.

I like the lamp, although, the antlers are fake. The lamp was delivered in an undamaged box, however, the packing material inside was in pieces and looked as ifI had received a reject from another customer. Because of the packing the pointed antlers pierced the lamp shade. I contacted the seller but did not receive a new lamp shade or a rebate. The price for the lamp was to high for fake antlers.

The lamp is perfect if you want a small table lamp with the traditional harp and finial shade and the ability to fill it with shells to show off, or anything else you want. From the photo it looks like the cord is inside the glass bowl lamp base and comes out the back so as to hide it. It's not. It is attached to the top of the lamp near the switch so it's hard to hide the cord unless you have the lamp in front of a wall or something that can hide it. to me that's not a big deal. The bigger deal for me is that while you unscrew the top of the lamp to add the shells or whatever else you want to add (wine corks would be nice since it comes with a cork shade), the opening is very small...not big enough for your hand let alone any shells that are round or medium/large size because they won't fit. Plus it makes it hard to add the shells because you have to drop them in since it is too small for a hand to fit in there to lay the shells carefully down in the bowl. It would make much more sense to have a larger opening so that you don't have to drop the shells into the base bowl, which causes the shells to break and can also break the glass bowl or at least scratch it. So I had to drop them one by one using my cooking prongs, which is tedious, time consuming and not very convenient. So that def. could be improved. I would have added more shells but you can't add anything that isn't very small, so only certain things can be used to fill this lamp. Wine or champagne corks are probably a better idea than shells because not only will it match the shade, they are small enough and you can drop them in without anything breaking/scratching. They should have advertised this lamp using corks instead of shells for that reason. I would have gotten a different lamp had I known all of this because I was specifically looking for a lamp to show off my seashells and had emailed and confirmed that I could do this (in addition to the shells they send you). Also they don't send you a variety of shells...they send you small plastic bag of the same exact type of seashell so there is no variety in the seashells that it comes with at all which is deceiving because the photo shows a variety of seashells. Who wants a lamp filled with the exact same type of seashell? I would have added more of my own if the opening was bigger because there is a ton of room in the bowl and the more shells you have the more you can hide the eyesore lamp cord, but because the opening is so small and the possibility of breakage of the glass bowl and the seashells I didn't do it, so it really is mostly just a glass bowl with some shells on the bottom.

We have a new home and have chosen to go with a transitional decorating style. In the deep south it's been quite a challenge to find transitional accent pieces. This lamp is a good value, but don't expect a perfect finish for this price. This is a Chinese product and the fit and finish does not look pristine close up or far away. For the price however, it still looks very nice. If you have expectations of what you would think you would get from an Ikea product, you should be relatively satisfied.
