I was a little hesitant to be the first to get this since i could find no reviews anywhere for it but it is every bit as good as the sites specs, the price was low, the suction is awesome, hose is long, attatchments are good, assembly was easy and shipping was fast. This is a nice sized construction vac. It has handled both water and dust easily. Forgot to put the filter back in though and the dust blew all over the space. Duh. With the filter, which can be rinsed out with a hose, the dust stayed put in the vac. I did get confused by the cover. It fits backwards, but then the hose does not attach. I called the company and studied the manual and because there was no photo of the full vac in the manual, I didn't realize I had the cover on backwards at first. The help line didn't think anyone would be so misguided to advise looking at if it was on backwards. But hey, I finally did figure it out.

Kathy Ireland Amor Collection 26" High Accent Table LampThis lamp had good reviews, and I liked the style of it, but in the photo of it it showed "regular" light bulbs. When I received the lamp it had been reworked to use the "new" type bulbs that are very expensive. Also the light bulbs almost touch the glass shade. I didn't want to bother to send it back since I had used my Amazon points to purchase it. It looks nice, but if I'd bought it at a local store, I would probably have returned it. I really don't like being forced away from using the type of bulbs I prefer. I don't care for the look of the ones they want you to switch to. It is fine to offer the option, but the consumer should be able to choose and not have to pay $5 for a bulb! Pretty lamp, but the description should state what bulbs to use.

I bought 3 of these several years ago. The first thing I did was take off the cage around the light. I know it's there for safety reasons but it really gets in the way. I love the lamp because it clamps on to most table fairly easy. It's well constructed. I have bent them into tons of shapes and haven't broken them yet. I have a display at a trade show and I can direct the bright lights where I need them the most. I do have to say that the light gets very hot (thus the cages) but I always tell people not to touch them. I did bake an apple with one once! It was delicious. I teach drawing class and had the light on an apple for about an hour and it cooked it!

This lamp won my heart from the moment it emerged from the box. After trying many, many clampand gooseneck-lamps throughout my life, at last a winner!! This lamp is made of heavy-duty metal parts, so has enough heft to feel really sturdy (no horrid, flimsy plastic clamp on this item!). The clamp is both strong and well-designed: it opens wide enough to attach to a thick table or shelf (1 1/4 inches thick is about ideal--see my photograph) and its pads are well-placed -unlike some clamps, in my too-vast experience, which are placed such that they actually hinder the proper grip rather than help it. The gooseneck is strong enough to hold up its own weight without moving so much as an INCH; it is infinitely adjustable, allowing the finest degree of control, without sagging or springing back into some default position. I have tried "professional" architectural drafting lamps whose clamps and adjustability absolutely pale in comparison to this one. Buck up and spend the money on this item: it will last and last, and will prove to you how excellent a product this is. Highly recommended for both craft projects and reading. (I too removed the guard; see my photo.)

I have had these lights for sometime now and they work with my display at trade shows very well. I also use them when teaching drawing to shine a light on my subjects. I removed the safety cage because they were falling off anyway and I didn't like the look of them. They run rather hot thought so I warn people not to touch them. I may buy a few more if I need them.

I really like these lights as they provide a good light where I need it. However, don't expect the clamp to hold up while you

adjust the gooseneck. I ended up drilling a hole in one side of the clamp, and affixing it to the backboard with a big screw.

I also removed the pansy guard at the front of the light. Otherwise, I like it. Good, hefty-size flexible stem material.

I would prefer if the switch was on the lamp... it is on the cord. The description did not explain tis but I read a review that did. So I knew what to expect. The lamps came on time. They were very easy to assemble. They do not come with light bulbs and the pamphlet is not very descriptive on which type is needed. I had to make 2 trips to the store to get it right. They require 40 w, 120v, B10. It didn't specify but you need the small base light bulbs. It looks like the larger base will fit but they don't.

The lamp was categorized by Amazon as a pair, it is not. It's a rather small, but adequate, lamp but my real problem is with the pricing. Since I thought it was a pair I was fine paying TWICE the price if you buy directly from IKEA. Twice the price is not acceptable if you are selling me one lamp. I understand that secondary sellers often mark up items to get their 'cut' but come on, you getting it from IKEA for me isn't worth 100% mark up. I'm returning the item since it wasn't as advertised (a pair) and it is grossly overpriced.

I waited to write a review until it was quite apparent that the Cooper Lighting company had no intention of responding to my inquiries. After two e-mails and one telephone call, my questions are still unanswered.

I contacted the Cooper Lightning company first because, I thought, that a mistake had been made by whomever had assembled the floodlight at the factory, but if not, why is the wiring on this Cooper floodlight so sub standard?

Brand new, right out of the box, it was easy to see that the type of wiring that had been installed in this floodlight for connection to a power source was too small of a gauge and had the wrong type of wire covering. This Chinese manufactured "Industrial Grade" Halogen floodlight that I received is NOT "Industrial Grade." Actually, it is not even safe for consumer home use.

The copper wiring inside of the floodlight does not even compare in quality and gauge to the wiring inside of a standard children's 60 watt table lamp. This floodlight was assembled using 22 gauge copper wire for the neutral, power and ground wires with no heat shield, and is less than half as large as the wiring in a standard home table lamp. The copper wiring will melt when pushing 500 watts through a halogen bulb for any length of time, and the thin plastic outer cover on the wiring will melt before the copper does, creating a fire if against wood.

If the type of wiring and material used in construction of this floodlight was a conscious cost cutting corporate measure instead of a manufacturing error, then I warn all who are thinking of purchasing it to not do so, unless you will rewire it with the correct wiring.

This is the second one I have bought for our subdivison.The first one was used everyday for 3 years before it was vandalized.Other ones I bought before, the casing was to small & the bulbs would burn out often. This product the bulbs last 3 times longer,because the casing is larger & the heat doesn't build up so much.The bulb is easy to change with the one screw removed the door swings open.This is a great product.

Choosing these bulbs was a process of elimination: Incandescent's are being phased out, CFL's are horrible dimmers, and LED's seem pricey.

The amount of light it provides is quite good and performs well with dimming. The bulb is actually constructed of a smaller halogen bulb encased in an incandescent bulb enclosure (bulb within a bulb). The lighting principle is the same except the element uses the gas in the halogen bulb.

I have used halogens in multiple applications in the past with decent results regarding the lifespan. Unfortunately, 1 of the 4 I bought has already died within 6 months of less than normal use. A second is about to go (it's emitting a very high pitch noise from the element vibrating). I gave it 3 stars per definition, "It's OK" their lighting ability is exceptional, but reliability is less than average (and advertised) so far. It has been replaced by an LED.

UPDATE Down to one working bulb; recommend investing in LED bulbs. The price is steadily decreasing as their technology is getting better.

I made the cutest lamps out of this fill the lamp with beads or water though so it isnt too top heavy. Get a cute shade ( I added beads and fringe with glue to mine) lightly glued the lamp kit in and presto great homemade gift!

Overall, this is a nice looking light. It looks good from afar (more than 1' away). The trick is that the block is split in half down the middle (cut into the top and lower half). From up-close, this is fairly easy to discern. It also does not give off much light. It will not serve as your primary desk lamp.

This is my first real lava lamp, and I must say that it has captured my attention and my imagination. Sure, it takes about an hour to warm up to a unique display--as others have mentioned; however, I find THAT aspect very comforting in today's fast-paced, too immediate, too loud, too impatient, too now-oriented society. The Lava lamp moves with its own motion and mood. Its purpose is to calm and to relax a person; it is the perfect companion for some soft music and NO TV.

I've had this color and base for over 5 years and I love it. Once the wax warms up enough to rise, it captures your attention whenever you walk into the room. It's a lovely natural blue/green combination but bright and cheerful.

The frequent bulb replacements (about once every 2 months) are annoying but worth the effect. My only complaint is that the wax has lost weight over the years (whereas I have done the opposite) and now it floats at the top.

Mine did nothing when I first got it. The blue blob just sat at the bottom of the bottle. I shook it once and turned the light off for an hour. After an hour I switched it back on again and was rewarded with the COOLEST show of liquid motion ever! At first the wax stretched towards the top of the glass and after two hours...the neat little balls started forming.

I am hooked on this little relaxation device now. I could stare at those globules stretching, twisting, balling-up and colliding with each other ALL DAY now! Its really more soothing than a fish tank, and works PERFECT with relaxing music. It is a great conversation piece and therapeutic...all wrapped up in one cool, retro looking lamp!

I suggest hooking a timer to it and scheduling it to work while you sleep. The lamp seems to work much better when it cycles between OFF/ON periodically. The lamp MUST cool down every 6-8 hours...or else you'll see nothing but a lazy, round blob sitting at the bottom of the glass. Don't buy it for the illumination...get it because it definitely will UNSTRESS YOU.

Our first lamp from this company did not work, it just sat as a blob in the bottom. However, the company, Lamps Plus sent a new one that works great. You MUST put these lamps on a timer or they will over-heat or not be warmed up in time for bed. My 8 year loves his lamp in his room as he goes to sleep.

We love these lamps we bought them as bedside table lamps. There is a nightlight and then two strengths of light. The only drawback is that when you turn it off from the nightlight, you have to cycle through the two regular lights before it gets turned off. They look great, the bases are heavy so there is no worry about knocking them over, and the light is useful and pretty. They arrived in excellent condition. We are very pleased.

Cute little lamp looks great in my son's new transportation themed room. The colors are not quite as bright in person more of a burgandy-red and the ladders and top part are a kind of khaki-olive green color. At first I was disappointed by the colors, but upon putting it in his room, it actually ended up looking really nice with the colors already in there (but for someone looking for bright red and white, this might not work). My only other complaint would be the order of the lights...on the first click you get the night light, on the second the regular lamp, and on the third both It would make more sense for the nightlight-only to be the last click so that if you wanted to turn the nightlight off after your child's asleep, you could do so with one click (vs. having to turn the whole lamp on and possibly waking them). Other than that, great little lamp.

This is a cute lamp with good paint quality and quick shipping. Our problem: the switch isn't quite right. It needs to be in-between "clicks" in order to have the lamp on. Makes me a little nervous as I've always been a little afraid of electrical fires, etc. We use it, though, and the night light in the cab is great. I should mention that we did not contact the seller about the switch issue. My husband says it's not a safety issue & we could always install a new one, so it didn't seem worth the effort to send back. I would recommend.
