This is now hanging in my small eat-in kitchen and gives off a very warm, beautiful light. It replaced one of those "builder's models" awful gold chandeliers that came with my house, and now my house seems like it's really mine (after 13 years!). All globes were unbroken and we were able to hang it right away. The dark finish looks very nice with my antique table that has a walnut color.

First light arrived with a damaged shade. When brought to the attention of Amazon, my issues were immediately taken care of and a new fixture was sent.

The chandelier is now hanging in our dining room, and it's beautiful. Ours is a small dining room and the chandelier hangs at the right lengthen from our ceiling and fits directly over our table. It adds a warm glow to our room.

My husband and I are extremely happy with this product and would consider buying other lighting from this company via Amazon.

This is a basic fixture and rather cheaply constructed. It does what it's supposed to do and doesn't look bad. However, you can find a comparable and even better fixture at Lowe's or Home Depot for less money.

I do like this chandelier, and now that it is hung in my dining room, I love the look. The only problem is that the 3 arms slightly curve down so that the bottoms of the 3 glass globes are not level, but curve slightly inward. If the lights had been level on the bottoms, I would have given it 5 stars.

I liked this light so well over my kitchen table that I bought the exact same one for our entry way, and the five light one for our dining room. Excellent dark bronze color. No problem installing.

I got this lamp for our computer desk. It's got some weight to it, and seems well made. The bottom of the lamp has felt, so it's won't scratch any surfaces. The shade is a nice true bronze color. Its a nice addition to any home.

This is a small lamp, but appears well made. It takes only a 25 watt bulb so it doesn't give out a lot of light but it looks very warm when it is on. It fits in with the Mission style I was going for.

I wanted a little table lamp for my Bonus Room. This is perfect. I borrowed different table lamps from my bedroom and office and put them in the bonus room just to see what they would look like but they were too bright. I was looking for a warm feel, not too bright, and not so dark like a night light either. This was perfect, it gives the room a lovely homey feel with an nice Ember glow and the Lamp also contrasts nicely with the Earth tone furnishings I have in this room.

I was very pleased with my lamps. They look exactly as they appeared in the picture and went very nicely with my new family room furniture. I have had several friends mention how much they liked them and ask where I got them. The packaging was very well done and they arrived in perfect condition. Since I really loved the lamps, my husband converted them to 3-way lamps, which was my only draw-back with initially buying them.

The only thing I can say negative about this lamp was the silver part on the bottom seemed a little scratched in a few places. I had already taken the box to the garbage so I just kept the lamp.

I purchased this lamp to be a reading lamp for bed. Overall, I am not disappointed. The LEDs are not the super bright variety, but it puts off enough light by which to read.

My one real complaint is that the goose neck is not strong enough to support its own weight. Either slowly over time or in sudden, jerky motions, the lamp "falls". this is not catastrophic and it can be overcome with a little twisting, but it is inconvenient, which is why I did not give the lamp 4 stars.

Overall, this is a good reading lamp and I will continue using it until the next great thing comes along.

The lamp just simply does not produce much light. I was expecting similar output to a halogen desk lamp, but the LED lamp is more like a flashlight than anything else. The design is still pretty cool. I do like the goose-neck, and the base is heavy enough that the neck can be twisted around without tipping over.

2 stars for design.

Hey, it works. The last bedside table lamp I had was just too short. This one is long enough to reach where I need it to be for good illumination on the book, yet still out of the wife's eyes. The base is heavy enough to keep it steady. The LED is nowhere near as bright as a halogen incandescent lamp, but it emits enough light for comfortable reading. A major bonus is that the LED does not heat up at all.

I looked for months for the perfect bedside reading lamp for my husband both online and in local stores. The glare from the night table lamp in our bedroom made it difficult for me to sleep when he wanted to stay up and read. Local stores had nothing suitable. When I finally found this one online it looked stylish and promising. I almost didn't order it because of the negative comments in some of the reviews. But I'm very glad I took a chance on it. It is perfect. I think the extra long gooseneck is the key. It's long enough so he can position it to arc over his shoulder and throw a concentrated beam of light right on his book. There is no glare and no spill-over light to disturb me. He says the amount of light it gives is just fine for reading. We've experienced no problem with the gooseneck. It stays in position very well. Maybe the manufacturer had a batch of under-par goosenecks that caused complaints from other reviewers? Anyway, this lamp is truly a marraige-saver when one spouse wants to sleep and the other wants to read. In my book, it rates 5 stars.

This light is every thing it seems to be. It has very nice, albeit harsh high temp colored light, perfectly adequate for no eye fatigue and letting the wife get some winks. The stem is long enough to reach any where it needs to go.

My one gripe; it is switched downstream of the transformer. This means the transformer is sucking about 90% of the electricity it uses when turned on when it is turned off, and unless it is on a switched receptacle it is sucking and wasting electricity 24/7. I mean I bought this thing to save electricity but it uses way more than a incandescent just because it has that vampire load when it's turned off.

The only drawback about this lamp is the short neck. It is only about 6 inches. Otherwise, the light covers a large area and it is quite sufficient for a small room. Unfortunately the edge of my window ledge is not deep enought for the clamp to stay on with the neck bent. So, I simply sit the lamp on the ledge itself, which is plenty for the lamp to stay steady even with the neck bent. It also comes with an energy efficient bulb.

This is a sturdily designed and built clip-on light. It's perfect for a wooden headboard that is slatted, but it won't work for a rounded metal (like a brass bed) frame. Plus, if you are on the top bunk in a dorm, the clip won't have anywhere to grab on to, so the neck of the light will be twisted in an awkward angle. As an alternative, the light can be clipped on to a lapdesk; it casts a lot of light, so working on a laptop is great in bed.

This lamp is just what I was looking for in a small accent light for my living room. I had two surprises the first time I turned it on. The first surprise was minutes after I took it out of the box and packaging; I plugged it in and after a few seconds all the lights in the neighborhood went out. Nothing to do with the lamp Boston was experiencing the [first][and hopefully last] blizzard of 2011! The power lines were affected by the heavy ice and snow and the high winds, Very dramatic.

The second surprise was the two levels of light. Since the power was out I turned the switch; thinking it would be better to have it off when power was restored. This is a well put together lamp. Has a bag full of various screws, mollies, etc. everything you'd need. Even a little screwdriver! Looks good, works fine. Wish the arm was adjustable vertically that is, height-wise because I had to cover an electrical box with it and it leaves it a little high. Otherwise, an excellent choice. Bulb is bright enough, and has a yellowish cast to it not the bright white light you get from some Xenon or other bulbs.

I have had 2 of these same Lite Source halogen lamps for 16 years. One of them I have been using every day of the year, sometimes 8 hours a day. It provides excellent bright light for reading while in bed. It is easy to install, the brightness is adjustable, and the bulb lasts years even with daily use.

After daily use for 16 years, one of the lamps went dead, and I was delighted to find out that the manufacturer is still making the exact same lamp, so I ordered a new replacement. I saw similar looking lamps on Lamps Plus website selling for $400 $600.

Best 2 sets Sewing Machine gooseneck Lamp + 110V light bulb, with 21" Deals

I finally found an inexpensive lamp that I can use on my pedestal grinders and my drill press. The end of the gooseneck is threaded so two nuts and a couple washers will lock it into position. I used CFL bulbs first, then found that LED lights were extremely bright and didn't get as hot. So I'm using a combination of bulbs now. One over my lathe, one on each grinder, one on the drill press. I expect them to last. Metal, painted.
