I love this lamp! The base is a tad big, but I live that I can plug in my phone, tablet, iPod, etc and have it charging while I work at my desk. My phone sits upright in the base of the light and I can see any text messages coming in.

The light is Otts usual wonderful light that makes knitting and crafting easier on aging eyes like mine.

I'm thinking of getting a second light for my bedside table.

The lamp light itself is great, if not a tad bit dim. The light is very white and clear, though-not yellow tinted like most bulbs.

It has two USB power ports on the back, so you can easily plug in your phones and charge them. It's nice because it saves me two additional power plugs on my surge protector (for mine and my girlfriend's phones) that would have been needed otherwise.

I bought this new off Amazon. First time I took it out of the box I thought the glossy coat looked dull and/or dirty. Wiped down the Base a number of times only to be more dissapointed as the Finish of this product is lousy. Makes me wonder if I was sent a second hand model.

I bought two of these as bedside table lamps. They were easy to assemble and work great. One of them had a slight blemish on the shade, but not enough to hassle with returning it.

I would have given 5 stars if not for that.

Daughter is decorating her room, Hello Kitty, and saved her holiday $$ to purchase this for herself. She says she is 100% happy with her purchase. Very cute lamp, looks well made. I've no problem with it at all but it is not 13 inches high. It's 16 inches which is a problem when it was to go on a shelf that was 14 inches high.

The lamp was exactly what was represented although much more beautiful than the picture. It was easy to install. I like that it has 3 lights, unlike most fixtures that have only one or two. These lamps came securely packed in one box. I would call the finish bronze, rather than dark brown. The fabric shades are gold with little flecks of brown. They almost look pink in the picture, but they aren't. The table lamps take up to a 100 watt bulb and the floor lamp up to 150 watts. I am happy with this purchase.

This is an inexpensive little lamp so I didn't expect anything special. I got it because I wanted a very small lamp to sit on a side table in the entry hall. It doesn't look quite like the photo in the product description (from any angle); the top "stem" where the bulb and shade attaches is more prominent. It's okay for what I wanted it for, but it's not quite as cute as I thought it was going to be. It is very lightweight; I was almost concerned that the power cord itself was going to pull it off the table. It does come with a long-life bulb, which is a plus. I'm not unhappy with the purchases, but I probably would have gotten something else if I knew how it actually looked.

As other reviewers have stated this is a small lamp. It does give off a bright light, however, not sure why it has a black cord seems clear or white would have been better.

We love the outdoor lamps. I've had fabric shades before on outdoor lamps. They did not hold up at all. The shades look like rattan and I believe they will last a long time. The bases are heavy which helps keep them upright in windy weather.

We've been striving to replace incandescent lighting in our house with more energy-efficient lighting, and we bought two of these, to light two corners of our living room. These fixtures are solidly made with a classy design. The built-in LED bulb is bright but very cool in color -not exactly warm-and-cozy. We improvised little orange gel-shades and diffusers, which has helped a lot. Our son tried one as a reading lamp in his room, but the light was too harsh and "blue." I guess LEDs as household lighting are still a work in progress. (But I love my LED Christmas tree lights!)

I thought that this would have the Colts name and logo just applied over a pre-made light switch, but it was not. It was custom made and the Colts name and logo were actually a part of the original design. It's really lovely and if I cared about the Colts at all, I would have selfishly kept it. But, since I don't...its new owner loves it! :)

As always, it shipped promptly and it arrived undamaged. It is a very pretty little lamp and the porcelein painting is very well done. It comes ready to take out of the box and use. However, the highest wattage bulb it takes is 25 watt, not 40 watt, which makes it little more than night-light bright. The lamp says maximum 25 watt on it, so even though the ad says 40 watt . . . . It really gives very little light. I liked it too much to return it, but I would not buy it again.

This lamp is not as pictured. The wicker shade is loosely woven and you can see the light bulb through which takes away from the lamp. The rope wrapped on the base appears natural in the picture but it is painted an ugly green and the same as the palm leaves. I was disappointed as soon as I saw it in the box.

These arrived packed very carefully and completely without damage. The base of the lamp has more of a brown tone, as does the glass portion of the stem, than the photo appears. For my purposes they are perfect and match the leather head/footboard nicely. They aren't very heavy but they are very stable.

I would not recommend this product. Looks cute but not functional. Every time I try to change the position of the lamp, the top of the lamp comes off. And the knob that is used to switch the lamp on and off also falls off frequently. Very flimsy.

Love this little lamp! It's perfect for MY needs. However, don't be fooled by the 20" height dimension listed for this item. Overall, it's no more than maybe 15" tall (hard to be exact because of the rounded surfaces). Perhaps if you pointed it at the ceiling it might measure in at 20", but even then I'm doubtful. :>

In order for the bulb to NOT shine in my eyes, the distance between the bottom rim of the metal lamp shade (*bulb cover?*) needs to be at about 9.5" off my desk. The base holds maybe 6/7 pens/pencils, a very small notepad (maximum 4.75" wide INCLUDING rings if you've got 'em on the side), a 3"x3" post-it pad or maybe some rubber bands, a few paperclips and/or stick pins/thumb tacks.

BUT, with a 60 watt bulb it lights up a sizable area (maybe 3' diameter circle), keeps a few little items close at hand, and leaves a very small footprint approximately 5.5" x 7.5". Great for a kid's desk, college dorm, that small kitchen desk where you write your lists & count your coupons, or for this old Nana who needs plenty of highly concentrated light. For me, this is so perfect it almost acts as a magnifier. REALLY helps these tired old eyes of mine.

Oh! And someone said the top gets hots. The metal shade could give you a minor burn if you kept your hand there long enough, but I've had no trouble with the plastic dome on top that acts as the on/off switch. It barely gets warm. While I wouldn't strongly recommend it for very young children, most kids over the age of 3 (even below) wouldn't leave a body part on the metal section long enough to sustain a serious burn. You know best what your kids will & will not do, so act accordingly.

Sorry I babble, but I wanna try & get it all in here. Bottom line: This is a great LITTLE lamp for a REASONABLE price & I'd recommend it as stated above. :)

I purchased the black version of this lamp 10+ years ago and it is still going strong. I'll need to replace it soon, as the plastic base has cracked around the neck of the lamp itself, but the crack was my own fault as I treated it too harshly, and it's over 10 years old. It's done its duty and I will be buying a new one before I go to college.

An excellent product. If you're in the market for a small general purpose lamp, buy this one.

I purchased this lamp for my daughter's study table and am quite happy with the purchase.The lamp is quite useful if you look at its price.The biggest downside is the top of the lamp which is very flimsy.If you use 60 w bulb as recommended by manufacturer,the top becomes unbearably hot and you cannot touch it .since the bulb dome is metallic,you cannot touch it while it is on it is so hot.The only way is to use the plastic cap on top of dome to move lamp or use a bulb with lower power....
