As always, it shipped promptly and it arrived undamaged. It is a very pretty little lamp and the porcelein painting is very well done. It comes ready to take out of the box and use. However, the highest wattage bulb it takes is 25 watt, not 40 watt, which makes it little more than night-light bright. The lamp says maximum 25 watt on it, so even though the ad says 40 watt . . . . It really gives very little light. I liked it too much to return it, but I would not buy it again.

I had one and bought another one for the other nightstand. I got it to match a comforter set that I had. It's really pretty and seems very well made.
