The table is made of beautiful wood and the construction is simple enough and the end result is a very sturdy table that is perfect next to the easy chair; that said, everything has to be put together almost at once, and there's too many things to hold together for your average two armed, two handed human.You'll have to have a friend or family member come over to help--in my case, homemade bread pudding was a perfect bribe!

The table looks great and really is a good value. I highly recommend it.

A pain to put together, and I consider myself handy with tools and instructions. But, the angles, instructions and tightening radius are abysmal. Overall, grab a beer or two and it'll come together. Lucky to get a 4 star though.

I think some bungie cords would be a great help in assembly to hold everything in place til you tightened all the screws.My wife really loves it. It's harder than you'd think to find a floor lamp that puts out lots of lumens. This one works great for that. However, it is a little wobbly. I don't recommend it for locations vulnerable to small kids and pets running around.

I purchased two of these lamp shades based on the online reviews and the price at amazon. The description of the lampshades and their dimensions was very accurate, and they arrived in perfect condition. The overall quality and durability of the shades is exceptional, and they look very nice on the lamps. My only disappointment is that when lit, the "vertical skeleton" of lampshades' seems are more apparent than the photograph on the amazon site, which in my opinion detracts from the overall elegance of the design. However, I'm gradually getting used to seeing the "seem bars" when the lamps are lit. Generally I'm very pleased with my purchase and expect these lampshades to last quite a long time.

I had purchased similar shades at a lamp store that were almost 3 times in price. These shades were very comparable if not the same thing. When comparing, be sure to double check the dimensions as I believe both shades were labeled 18" but these ones seemed an inch shorter than the shades from the lamp store. Overall, the look is the same for a fraction of the price!

I liked this lamp as soon as I saw it online but it is much more beautiful when you actually see it. The shade is awesome. My only cautionary comment is that the dark shade makes this not a great lamp for reading, but it looks really pretty at night. I unintentionally ended up with a palm tree theme in my shore house bedroom (bedspread and pictures)so this lamp is the finishing touch. I am really happy with my purchase. I also give Wayfair's customer service department 5 stars as they are fantastic to work with. You will love the lamp and be happy dealing with the company.

I ordered one through a Groupon, from another site but I believe this is the same and I'm getting others. I have salt rock candle holders and lights around my home, but I wanted something for the office too. The lights are beautiful and it still has a natural looking shape. I just hope it lasts for a while. I imagine you can unscrew the bottom and replace the bulb when it burns out, or I may use it over a flameless candle at that point.

The seller description of this product is misleading. It says "glass finish", which, together with the photograph, and the $126 price tag, would lead one to believe that the base is made out of glass. The base is instead made out of very lightweight acrylic. I understood I had been had when the packages arrived and each box weighed no more than 3lbs. Sceptical that a big box with a glass lamp inside would weigh only 3lbs, I opened one very carefully, and sure enough---found it to be made out of cheap plastic. Shame on the seller. However Amazon is the best! They promptly took it back.

I study, read, and crochet in bed while watching tv (it is my luxury). I continously have issues being able to see what i am doing. I have a small bedside lamp, but it doesnt put out much light and if i use the overhead light, it sometimes casts a shadow on what i am trying to do. I had to stay in a hotel for business and thought the lamps mounted on the wall were very functional and easy to operate. No more fumbling for the switch on the cord. I told my husband that i needed a lamp to mount on the wall and he was absolutely against it. When trying to learn to crochet, i thought this is it. I immediately pulled out my laptop and just knew there had to be a wall lamp that was functional and didnt look as though it belonged in a hotel. I found it. I didnt want to spend a lot of money on the lamp, because i didnt know if i would like it or if my husband would let me have it. The lamp came to my home quickly and when i opened it, my husband was still against it. I came home one day to find it hanging on my side of the bed and I have been very happy with the lamp. It is a 3 way bulb with a max of 150, which is very useful, depending on what you are working on. The switch is located at the base of the lamp, which most of the time is cumbersome to turn on and off, but if the lamp is mounted above your head, it is far easier to get to. Warning, the cord cover is not included and i would absolutely suggest that you have one. Now, i just need to convince my husband to let me get one for his side of the bed. Oh yeah, you will love the fact that there is one less thing sitting on your endtable, dresser, whatever.

1st You can't swing the middle part only on the side part.

2nd the shade of the lamp wasnot exactly the same as the one pictured.

3rd and this is the one that pist me off the most -you can't switch the light on and off. It is like switching a screw driver. It gets tighter and tighter. I am only plugging and unplugging it is the only way to do it.

Only positive thing is that it does hang from the wall.

Wish I never threw away the box otherwise I would have returned it!!!

For the price it's fine but overall the quality is kind of poor. The shade is collapsed for shipping and it was difficult popping it out to use it. It's also a silky fabric that looks like it will collect dust, cat hair and anything else in the room. The swing arm droops about an inch but I haven't tried tightening the screws behind the plate yet. The on/off switch is very stiff (not helpful for arthritis sufferers like me). Assembly and mounting it on the wall was fairly easy. Being able to mount the plate first then attaching the lamp to the plate was a good idea and made it go faster. Overall, for $30 and free shipping I give it 3 stars.

Edited on 2/19/13 It has been less than a year since I bought this lamp and it is now in the trash!! The middle part of the arm where it was drooping continued to droop. There is no way to tighten, stabilize or repair it at all and since all the wiring runs through there I was worried about fire hazards. It was sagging so much that I had to throw it out. I wound up going to Home Depot and buying one for the same price. I highly suggest you avoid this company's products.

I received what I ordered, however it was not new, it was a product that had been used before and had the marks of wear and tear from being used. I contacted the seller and received no answer. Although I do understand that they have to do something with the returns they get from people, when I order a product as new, I would like to receive one that is new, not one that had been used. I would order from another company, which guarantees new in the box product. Otherwise, product appears ok, I am giving it only one star due to the fact that the company is selling used products, not new, and they fail to make that statement on the website.

Package says not to put near bedclothes, sheets, etc, for good reason.

Attractive night light. I used a 2 watt 150 lumen LED bulb rather than the supplied incandescent, and the lamp does not even get warm. However, that is equivalent light output to a 20 watt conventional bulb, which is kind of bright for a night light. A 5 watt equivalent LED, about a half watt, is probably better. Virtually any shape LED bulb with a candelabra base will fit.
