8 Panel Rose Colored Rose Buds and Butterflies Tiffany Reviews
The product arrived in perfect condition and on time. The only problem is that the glass panels are not what I ordered. Instead of "rose and butterflies" I received "pink flowers." However, it wasn't worth the time and effort it takes to return the item to the seller. My wife ordered this lamp for her grandmother and we received it in 4 business days. We put the lamp together and noticed that one of the panels was broken, so my wife contacted the seller and 3 days later we received 3 replacement panels without any problems. Not only was the product well worth the money, but the customer service was very outstanding.

The dish you see in the picture does not come with the lamp. It does make a nice night light, but it is not a table lamp.

It isn't easy to find light woods any more. This lamp goes perfectly with my golden oak floors and tables. I really love it. BTW, it accommodates a three-way incandescent bulb, which I don't think is mentioned in the blurb.

The power in my house goes out on a regular basis, so I finally figured out that maybe getting a book light or two would be a worthwhile investment. After reading the reviews, I decided to get both a Great Point Light-Flex-Neck and a Multi Flex from Fulcrum. Each has its pluses and minuses and which one is better for you depends on what you want to use it for.
The Fulcrum light is brighter than the Great Point and covers a larger area. The switch is also much easier to use since it slides. On the Great Point, the top presses down and it's hard to get it to stay on. Sometimes it switches off for no apparent reason. It's either a poor design or I got a defective unit. The Fulcrum also takes 3 AAA batteries, which fit into the base, making it both heavier (about 2 1/2 ounces compared to about 1 1/2 ounces for the Great Point) and as a result making the clip a lot bulkier as well. The Great takes lithium batteries, much lighter, but also harder to find.
The Fulcrum is too heavy and too bulky to make it easy to attach to a paperback, and if you want to attach it to any book and hold the book up to read, it gets heavy very quickly. Its brighter light and greater weight and area make it a good choice for when you want to set a larger and heavier book on a table or for attaching to a very sturdy and prominent back rest, plus the easy availability of AAA batteries means you probably have a spare set around when the ones in the Fulcrum run out or at least you can grab replacements at the grocery store. The Great Point is better if you want to attach it to a book you are holding up to read, or to a paperback, or for when you want a little less light so as not to disturb a partner in bed. In any event, since they are both better than reading by candlelight both suit my needs, but one or the other is probably going to be better for most people depending on what you want. Or spring for both so you always have a spare. At this price, you could just about afford one for every room.
So I needed a new light and looked to Amazon. I found this one that had some pretty decent reviews, so I bought it. I am glad I did. The lightweight body clips to the back cover of the book ( or to a bunch of pages on a soft cover book ) the flexible gooseneck is very thin, but holds its position well. The LEDs give off a bright, white light that easily covers both pages fully on even a large hardcover book. No more dark corners to contend with. The base is small ( holds three AAA batteries ) but large enough to sit flat on the base if I do not want to clip it to the book.
Overall its a good book light that I am happy with.
***update 2/14/2010*** This book light has functioned flawlessly for over 2 1/2 years of almost daily use. I just had my first problem with it. The light started flickering and I would have to tap the head (part with the light) to get it working again. It happened for three or four nights in a row. I was seriously upset because this is my favorite book light and I really did not want to have to replace it, and this thing has seen some serious book time.
Well I looked at the head and there is one small screw on it. So I laid it out flat on the table, removed the screw, then took the cover off. There is a small metal slide and I figured the bent piece was not making contact, so I bent it just slightly, and it works again. I did that 1 minute repair three weeks ago and everything is working great. I look forward to another 2 1/2 years of service on this great little book light.

I have gone through about ten book lights, and I think I like this one the best. My previous one was the type that clipped to the spine of the book, which I was not crazy about, but it did shine a better white light on a larger portion of the page then all my previous lights. Then it disappeared one day. I am sure I will find it months from now in the bottom of one of the kids toy boxes. So I needed a new light and looked to Amazon. I found this one that had some pretty decent reviews, so I bought it. I am glad I did. I have a drawer full of book lights. This is by far the best. Long flexible neck that stays where you put it. Enough batteries to keep it going. Wide, evenly dispersed light with no hot spots. It will even light a book with large pages. This is it.Honest reviews on Fulcrum 20010-301 Multi-Flex LED Task Light and Book Light
I found this item awhile ago at another vendor for twice the price. Even at the higher price it was worth it! I've had many book lights over the years and this one is THE best I've ever used. I first bought one for using at home for reading and quickly returned to buy another for my office. It is great for travel or in the library to supplement low or uneven lighting and it makes a wonderful gift! The soft rubber pad on the base and the gentle-but-firm tension in the clip allows it to be attached instantly to the edge of a book, a music stand, or a clipboard without leaving marks when removed. One of the nicer features is that, unlike many other book lights, it can stand easily on its own on a flat surface. The light beam from this tiny lamp is powerful illuminating a whole page rather than just a small portion. The flexible gooseneck allows the beam to be adjusted easily. Battery life is extraordinary. Using the lamp daily for hours at a time, the beam stayed strong and steady for over 4-5 months. The design and capability of this tiny lamp is just about perfect! Even nicer, it is available in red and blue as well as standard silver. This book light is very bright, but unfortunately, not well made. After just a few days of light use the "neck" on my light will not stay in place. It is loose and just falls on top of the page I am reading. I would not recommend this product unless an improvement is made.Thursday, November 13, 2014

Amazon's service was great...manufacturer packaged the original box poorly which resulted in damage. The metal parts of the lamp were dented & scratched. Switch was broken. Glass was scratched. Returned item and Amazon gave great service. The 2nd lamp still had minor scratches due to manufacturers packaging. Amazon packaging to protect it was fine. The lamp works as described and fine for the price.

THis light is really great! the best part, RECHARGEABLE!! I had another one that was not able to recharge. Went through batteries like crazy and was not as bright.
THe light is perfect for the table. The lights are not blinding, but able to play cards etc. and see those sitted at the patio table!
Easy to install and take down off of umbrella pole.
Remove and bring inside if bad weather.
All in all, terrific! Spend the extra money and get the rechargeable one!!! SO WORTH IT!
Anyway we got this new one, & I must say the brightness of the lights is amazing, the rechargeable battery is holding its charge very well, actually I don't think I've had to charge it yet & I've had it over a week with 4/5 uses each evening, its obviously much better (as would be expected for a new unit), anyway it lights up a very wide area too, not only for those in the immediate vicinity of the umbrella but for those sitting outside of the umbrella's main seating area too, you can clearly & easily see peoples faces etc making it easier to hold a conversation.
All in all a great light that does a great job of illuminating a wide area, a little more expensive than others yes, but sometimes you get what you pay for & this in my view is one of those occasions where paying a little more is worth it.
Be warned that the light from these is not a warm light. They are LED so the light is very blue. I still use candles for the warm glow and to shoo away bugs. The combination seems to work well. Originally I thought I would need the 6-light model but after buying the 4-light, I am happy to report it's plenty of light. The 6-light would have been too much light and too harsh. Unless you are doing surgery under your umbrella, the 4-light should be fine.
All in all, these are just awesome and I love them!

We bought this new 'umbrella light' because our old one had started to fail, the battery wasn't holding its charge & because its outside all the time both near a pool & in the rain it had got wet/damp on numerous occasions, but it had lasted well.Anyway we got this new one, & I must say the brightness of the lights is amazing, the rechargeable battery is holding its charge very well, actually I don't think I've had to charge it yet & I've had it over a week with 4/5 uses each evening, its obviously much better (as would be expected for a new unit), anyway it lights up a very wide area too, not only for those in the immediate vicinity of the umbrella but for those sitting outside of the umbrella's main seating area too, you can clearly & easily see peoples faces etc making it easier to hold a conversation.

I am a big fan of outdoor entertaining. Here in California, we can pretty much live outside so long as its not pouring rain. But as we are in October, the days have grown shorter and it's dark long before I am ready to send home my friends. I now have 2 of these and I *love* them. Whenever people come over, they ask where to get these. I especially like that they are cordless and rechargeable.Be warned that the light from these is not a warm light. In today's world of gimmicks, one is not always 100% sure if they really have ordered the right item, and hope to receive what they expect when procuring via mail-order. This product is "exactly" what is advertised, is complete, well made, works as advertised. If we have one concern, it would be our hope that the included (self contained) removable rechargeable battery pack holds up. It took a long time (8hrs.) for the battery pack to take its first charge with both the AC Adaptor and Battery becoming very warm, almost actually hot. Otherwise this is a very nice product, and provides a considerable amount of light shown onto your picnic table or similar intended item. You can literally play cards, write, or a game, from the amount of light this product provides. Do not be afraid to purchase this product.Friday, September 19, 2014

I have searched high and lo for this lamp! My husband is always saying, "I want a lamp like you would see in the White House." This one certainly does! It is heavy, with some marble on it. The shade is perfect and my husband especially likes having the two pulls to light only one side if desired. It is a perfect addition to our den.
bother him as he is considerably taller than I. I believe if the shade
were an inch or so taller, it would still look good and at the same time eliminate the glare from the bulbs for everyone!!
Strongly recommend if you're looking for a lamp for a traditional office.

I purchased this lamp as a Christmas gift for my husband. He is very happy with it as am I. I do have one constructive (I hope) criticism and that is the size of the shade. When I sit with him at his desk, the light bulbs are quite visable beneath the lower rim of the shade and thus shine in my line of sight . . . a bit annoying. It doesn't seem tobother him as he is considerably taller than I. I believe if the shade
were an inch or so taller, it would still look good and at the same time eliminate the glare from the bulbs for everyone!!

Sturdy, well made traditional lamp. Works best on a larger executive desk. The height would overwhelm a smaller desk. The black shade has a gold reflective inner lining. A lower watt bulb works best as high watt bulbs cause a blinding reflection when seated at the desk.Strongly recommend if you're looking for a lamp for a traditional office.

I have been looking for this type of lamp for my office for a while. I saw a lamp on the set of Scandal in the Oval Office, which was just perfect for my office. Philips 420224 10-Watt L-Prize Award Winning 60-Watt LED Light Bulb Review
Customer Ratings:
List Price: $49.99
Sale Price: $47.50
Today's Bonus: 5% Off

I actually purchased four 420224 bulbs, but received four 423244 bulbs from restassure. It seems this is the same product, only packaged differently. Those I received were in hard to open plastic packaging, while the ones I ordered were supposed to be packaged in easy to open cardboard boxes. I already own the older 12.5 watt Philips LEDs that sell for approximately 1/3 less and are also rated as 60 watt incandescent equivalents. Here are some differences I have noted after several weeks of use: When not in use, in my ceiling fixtures with the bulbs visible from below, the L prize winners are far less noticeable (translation = ugly) than their 12.5 watt predecessors. This is primarily due to their yellow, rather than orange color when off. When on, the L prize winners, despite using 10 watts instead of 12.5 are noticably brighter and give off a more natural looking light. However, when operated with a dimmer, the L prize winner does flicker slightly as the dimmer is adjusted, whereas the 12.5 watt version does not flicker at all. My advice is if you do not need to operate the bulbs with a dimmer, it probably pays to buy the L prize winner. If using the bulbs with a dimmer, the choice is not so clear, although the flickering stops when the dimming process is completed.
These are actually a tad bit brighter than the "Reveal" 60w. I usually dont like bulbs in the 2700 color temp range but these look brighter.
The initial delay is definitely less with these to the point you dont even notice it. I have a 15w LED floodlight i got from lowes last year at my house and it has a much longer delay.
10w! how awesome is that?
30,000 hour life is a pretty big improvement from the 20,000-25,000 hour life spans of the last generation LED bulbs
Light spread-some LEDs dont throw the light out evenly. Even though this is made up of three different LEDs with splits in between them, it still does an excellent job of distributing the light evenly.
The only downside is the cost right now. $50 per bulb is high especially if you plan on using these in a home environment where the lights arent on as much. Just doing some rough math at 8 hours per day, 20 days per month and $0.10 per kw, they will save you about $9.60 per year. That doesnt factor in the other positives like not having to buy/replace incandescents or compact fluorescents (they never seem to last as long as what they say) so there is a little more cost savings you could add on but that is only in a business/retail environment. At home, the savings wouldnt be near as much. I think we will see these come down in price and as they do, it will make it a better fit for home use. Right now, the bulbs are just too expensive. But if you have the money, you will certainly see the savings over time and they dont have any mercury in them.
I really thought about giving these 4 stars for price but that is the only flaw the bulb has so i had to go with 5 star.
Just wished that Amazon would clean out all the old crap from the list; it makes the new and improved LED bulbs hard to find! I actually had to cancel an order before finding these since a bunch of SKUs look similar but actually perform quite differently.
Want to buy more now!
This is the light bulb that won the US government's L-Prize, which was set to spur creation of highly efficient lighting. There are two products out there, but as far as I can tell, only the packaging is different. The other item is here compare prices and order the cheaper one :)
LIGHT OUTPUT AND QUALITY
This thing puts out 940 lumens of light using less than 10 watts, something one would need an 60W incandescent or even halogen bulb for. This is better than CFLs and yet, it's not its best feature!
The best feature is the pleasant light. Typical energy saving light sources have a Color Rendering Index of 80 (out of 100 max), meaning that they lack certain wavelengths present in natural light and therefore have a tendency to make things look unnatural even if the light itself appears white. This bulb's CRI registers at 93, which is still not perfect, but in my opinion perfectly adequate. I can distinguish CFL light from "real" light, but I don't see a difference between this and, say, halogen light.
DIMMING
This product is also designed to work with dimmers. Mine is acting up a little: the dimming seems to work in discrete stages (maybe 10 levels as opposed to continuous), and once the desired level is reached, it switches to a slightly higher or lower output after a few seconds. Also, there are funny color casts on the dimmer side (pink and blue, alternatively). But still, it works on the higher levels and newer dimmers will probably cause less problems than my six yearold Insteon.
DOWNSIDES
So what's not to like? Two things:
1) the bulb is rather unsightly, and yet it must not be used in closed fixtures
2) it's still expensive, almost ten times as much as CFLs bought in bulk
ENERGY SAVINGS
Philips gives you a rather conservative "saved dollars" amount. But I'd recommend you do your own math as there are some numbers that Philips may not be allowed to factor in:
One is the cost of electricity. In my case, the official rate is 11 cts/kWhr. But that number doesn't include taxes and "delivery"; once that is accounted for, the real cost is about three times as high!
The other number is the saved air conditioning cost in the summer. 50 Watts of heat are produced less, and those 50 Watts take an even higher number of AC power to compensate.
WARRANTY EXPERIENCE
One of my bulbs failed after 6 months of use. I admit I used it 6+ hours daily, but it was freestanding and upwards-facing all that time, so that shouldn't have happened. The first thing I did was enter an issue through Philips' web site they didn't have the model so I picked a close one and explained my plight through the web form. Shortly thereafter, I got an email asking for another dozen data points (purchased where, model number, did it say "Philips" on the bulb, etc.), and requesting that I call a phone number with the info. I tried my luck and replied by email instead of calling, but didn't hear back. However, a few days after that, I got a check in the mail, as well as a prepaid Fedex return slip to please send in the defective bulb for analysis. It was nicely worded, apologetic even. I actually would have preferred to just receive a replacement bulb in the mail because the price had gone up, but that's complaining on a high level. Overall, my warranty issue was handled courteously and quickly.
CONCLUSION
It's mostly the purchase price that is holding this bulb back. If it was in the same range as CFLs, there would be no comparison hopefully, this will happen in 2013! If you're an avantguardist (read: money is less of a factor), this light bulb is definitely "it".

I bought a bunch of these to replace some 60w incandescent bulbs at one of my offices.

I purchased these to replace my halogen dimmable bulbs. I must say the light is remarkably warm for a LED. If I were ranking just the light, it would be a 5 out of 5 stars. However, I had to send one bulb back because it didn't work out of the box. Then once I finally got my 3 bulbs installed, they do produce a noticeable buzzing sound. Not to bad if you have a television or other background noise. But if you have nothing, it is pretty loud. For the price I paid for these bulbs, I expected them to be perfect. So the warm light quality is 5 out of 5 stars. But I'd give the buzzing a 1 out of 5 stars. So a 3 out of 5 average.Honest reviews on Philips 420224 10-Watt L-Prize Award Winning 60-Watt LED Light Bulb
Bought two bulbs right after they announced the L-prize winner; got the bulbs about 4 weeks later. Installed one in a glass bulb ceiling fixture in the front entryway; it's perfect! The older, dimmer bulb in there was a frosted 60W. The other one is in a living room lamp which replaces a 3-way 50/100/150W bulb; the jury is still out, but it's doing quite well. Great color, color uniformity. Slight delay in turn-on time is no big deal either!Just wished that Amazon would clean out all the old crap from the list; it makes the new and improved LED bulbs hard to find! I actually had to cancel an order before finding these since a bunch of SKUs look similar but actually perform quite differently.

WHAT THIS ISThis is the light bulb that won the US government's L-Prize, which was set to spur creation of highly efficient lighting.
I bought the purple one and the correct color arrived, but there were slight tears in the box's flap above the Chinese character. Emailed the seller and they shipped out a replacement without asking for the first one back, or even for a photo to document the damage.
The lamp is much like a standard take-out box, and the Chinese character is a translucent paper set against the more opaque box. It comes with a 7 watt (or so) night light style incandescent bulb, I use LEDs where possible and they work well here too. The purple lamp doesn't look all that purple when lit up, but nice effect nonetheless.
'Recently redecorated our 24 year old daughter's former bedroom at home in a modern, asian style. This fun little lamp is perfect for the room! Hers is the bedroom at the top of the stairs and I leave this on as a nightlight on the bookshelf. Now my husband and I can navigate the stairs at night without turning on the hall lights. Our daughter prefers a dark bedroom to sleep in and turns it off at bedtime when she's home, but she keeps commenting on how much she absolutely loves it. You can't help but smile when you look at it. The couble happiness symbol represents our satisfaction with both the item and the price.

This is really very cute. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the side flaps don't stay open the way you might hope. Even so, my son loves this, and it's a cute addition to the room.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Carry-Out Lamp
I was redoing my teenage daughters bedroom and I got this light for her room. It is a cute light but it doesn't stand well. If her room didn't need the extra light she wouldn't be using it.Thursday, May 22, 2014

My wife is a doll artist and does a lot of extremely detailed work on making what are referred to as reborn dolls. In addition she does a lot of work on doll clothes. She began suffering eye strain from our normal lighting and decided to get an Ottlite floor lamp. We looked at one in a craft store and the price was just ridiculous. So we went to Amazon and found this same model at nearly half the price.
The lamp furnishes a bright "daylight" type of light and increases the vision ability markedly. I'm 74 and, believe me, I can read even really small print under this thing. The two "arms" are almost useless for my needs and I don't notice my wife using them either. My wife is very satisfied with the bright clear light and says it aids her work considerably.
I would view the stand as ugly and out of place in our living room and we have no other place to use it. I would regard the lamp as overpriced, even with the much lower online price. Before you buy, you might check out the cost of replacement bulbs as they can be breathtakingly expensive and one of ours didn't last even a fraction of the expected lifetime.

If you are going to do any kind of close work under artificial light, this is excellent. It's good for things like removing splinters, too.
Only four stars from me though. It's overpriced in my estimation.

I love my lamp. There is one improvement that could be made and that is the ability to shorten the lamp when it is a floor lamp. I am short and sit in short chairs and are unable use the magnifier because it does not go low enough for me.Best Deals for OttLite K94CP3 3-in-1 Adjustable-Height Craft Floor Lamp
The Ott Lite is a remarkable tool, in whatever form it takes. This incarnation as a 3-in-1 craft lamp is the most useful and adaptable version yet! It comes boxed with a table clamp, a floor stand and the base to use as a desk lamp. Also, attached to the main section of the unit is a flexible clip, for holding directions and pictures of the project on hand, and a wonderful flexible magnifier this one, without a frame, which makes it easier to see things. It is incredibly easy to change from one version to another. The Lite itself in the best yet from Ott; I can state this absolutely, as I have two other Ott Lites, with moveable shades one with a flexible magnifier. Their light has always been superior to that of any other regular lamp, but this new craft lamp really IS daylight in a lamp! Seperating numerous colors of wool for crewel always used to have to be done in bright daylight, but that's what I now have at any timein this extraordinary 3-in-one lamp! I have already recommended it to all my friends at my local Embroiderer's Guild and all my other friends, for even just reading this OttLite K94CP3 is superior to all other lamps for everything!Honest reviews on OttLite K94CP3 3-in-1 Adjustable-Height Craft Floor Lamp
I almost didn't purchase this lamp because of the comments about the magnifying glass being too high. Thanks to S. Johnson from Buffalo for pointing out that the two arms are easily switched to pointing down. That way, it's perfect. When it arrived I thought, "Oh, dear. This is going to be difficult to put together." It was easy and I did it myself. If you are going to do any kind of close work under artificial light, this is excellent. Several criticisms in other reviews are of the arms being too high for use. They can be mounted facing downward too which would be the natural position for the floor model configuration. Why the manufacturer shows them facing upward is a mystery. As you know it can be configured as a table lamp also and that way the upward facing arms make sense.Only four stars from me though. It's overpriced in my estimation.
