I needed a lamp for a small area, others were knocked over and broken. This one is shaped in a way so kiddos wont easily knock over. Also the switch is good for the bedroom ,no fumbling for switch it is right at hands reach. This a nice item for the price.

It looks like my lamp was damaged when it was shipped to me so I returned it and the company took very good care of me and replaced the lamp. I got the new one quickly and I'm happy with it. I ended up ordering one more since we decided they would make a nice set.
