I love this lamp! It is perfect in my home office and it is a great tribute to my dog, Dottie, and my walks/hunts with her!

I bought this lamp to light up a small reading area nestled between two club chairs for my husband, I liked the look so much, I have moved all three pieces to a more noticeable spot in the house! I guess that means I think it really looks great, eh? LOL

Oriental Furniture Unique Inexpensive Lamps- 19-Inch Olivia Modern Reviews

Customer Ratings:

The picture of this lamp doesn't do it justice. They are gorgeous! The description is off a bit, though. Base of lamp is 6.25" x 6.25", lamp shade is 4.75" in diameter, and the lamp has an overall height of 18 5/8". The lamp takes a type B light bulb, the sticker on the felt covered bottom says up to 40W.

I ordered a pair of them in Walnut for my nightstands in my Asian/Zen themed master bedroom and they are perfect. They were very well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. The lamps have an inline rocker switch on a black cord that is very easy to operate. The shade is a stiff paper wrapped with a linen-like fabric with a nice texture to it. The top of the bulb is about 10.5" from the bottom of the tube, which does not come out, so you will need to be able to get your hand in there to screw the bulb in. I got 25W type B candelabra bulbs for mine, and they give a nice soft light to the room. If you're looking for a reading lamp, these are not for you, but if you want a gentle ambiance and Zen feel, you'll be very happy with these.

These lamps give off a very nice, soft light that's easy to read by but not hard on the eyes. Perfect and the "paper" is a sturdy sort, not thin or flimsy, more like a really light canvas.

Sturdy construction, well built all the way around. These lamps are NOT flimsy at all. I bought two of these and set them up on timers with low wattage bulbs to wake me up in the morning. Works great. The light they put out is soft and soothing. I use the bright white CFC bulbs, smallest wattage they make... They look really nice with the bright white bulbs... I think they look nicer with the bright white Compact flourescents than with the soft white bulbs, which can look too yellowish, in my view. I'm pleased with my purchase.

Definitely a great desk lamp...bright and good quality/workmanship. One thing I don't care for, but can live with is the look of the lamp. I could see it as a fixture in a doctor's office or hospital setting.

The Pros the price, it looks nice and the light is bright and white, the neck is flexible. The things I would improve: The on-off switch is underneath the bulb on the upper part of the neck not easy to turn on and off. The base is larger than it needs to be taking up too much room. While it is nice white light, it is not comparable to 'sunlight'. I take pictures in sunlight and I've taken pictures with this light and they are not alike. I bought this for my workbench where I need flexible bright white light to work on detailed jewelry project. I'm happy with the purchase but it could be a 5 star if they fixed the items I mentioned.

Bought this lamp for my wife's '1/6th scale' miniature furniture business. There are some days in Florida when the sun is hidden by rain clouds which makes it very difficult for her (or anyone) see the small details necessary to produce her 'handmade' pieces of furniture. Hence, the reason for this purchase.

We needed a new desk lamp that provided excellent light (the eyes are getting old). Thought we'd give this lamp a try. We are very pleased with the clear, white light it provides and we can see so much better. I liked it so much I bought one for my 91 year old father. He is thrilled!

This light is not high enough. If I am working on something spread out, I have to tilt the light and then it shines in my eyes. Would be great if they added another 6" to the goose neck.

I purchased this to match the décor in my grandbaby's room. She is obsessed with Minnie and other than the strong smell of plastic, she absolutely loves when it is turned on at night.

Feit Electric 60A/CL/MP-130 60-Watt A19 Household Bulb, Clear, 24 Review

Customer Ratings:

Good bulb for the price.

Bought these bulbs because I had used them in past years and had good service out of them. After receiving and visually comparing these bulbs against 2 other types of bulbs, the element has an extra support, helping the bulb to last longer(in theory)

What great light bulbs! How does one praise the beleaguered incandescent bulb? This future relic is just as advertised. Effective, beautiful and elegant, this bulb will give one pause when contemplating the history of the humble glass encased wire of glowing electricity. Each night this product calls to all who seek the security of home, shining forth the call to comfort through the cruel, frightening darkness.

Why can't I find these in store any more? Light bulbs were not designed to be expensive. CFL's produce horrible light, the LEDs still catch on fire too often; these Feit lights are perfect for normal use household applications and I hope they never go away.

Two of the bulbs were broken but when I called they quickly sent out another box. I will order again.

I absolutely hate the new spiral bulbs. I have Tiffany lamps, and these bulbs light them beautifully. Long lasting is another plus.

I bought two of these for gifts for my grandsons and they loved them. They are attractive and fun.

Cute, but smaller than anticipated. You can touch the top of brain and the light moves to that area, but doesn't do as well on other areas, slightly disappointed, but still nice.

Review of Lite Source LS-81347 Kaylor Floor Lamp with Table Tray, Dark Walnut

The lamp is great but the assembly was awful. The electrical cord was pre-assembled running through all the pieces , which in theory is a good idea. However, the table tray was put on upside down (base wood is not a nice finish and the drawers are obviously not functional wrong side down), requiring me to disassemble the wired connections and clips at the bulb connections and re-run the cord the proper way through the table center hole. With some circuitry knowledge and clever tooling, the lamp assembly was complete in about an hour however if the factory work was performed correctly assembly should be < 5 minutes.

Some quality assurance wouldn't hurt Lite Source, but so far the lamp is working great and the wood color and table tray design were exactly the addition to my room I was looking for!

Great item. Extremely well made and packaged! The base is heavy and constructd to highest standards. Drawers look great. Shade and finial work perfectly with the lamp. A++++++++++
