I wanted a small desk light that used a regular incandescent bulb (no halogen bulb!). This lamp was perfect for my needs. Seems like it's well made.

The base of the lamp is loose, allowing the shaft to spin. This leads to the head of the lamp pulling to the side, away from the direction I initially aim it, unless I adjust it so the head sits very low, near to the base. In general, the craftsmanship seems poor. It's not unusable, but I wouldn't recommend buying this.
