It arrived in mint condition, no scratches, etc. This lamp is not very large, it's medium sized which is perfect for my small living room & space saver narrow end table. I placed 60 watt cfl's that work out great. I found these cool medium based bulbs (40 & 60 watt) @ Home Depot that have a normal shape w/ the spiral fixture inside a silicone outer bulb, never seen that before but their great! Nice little lamp & the on/off switch is in the cord which isn't mentioned! I had been searching for months for a lamp all around town & the internet before I found this one. Found it on a few online sites, but as always I get best deal @ Amazon!
