I received my light and immediately set it up, or should I say, plugged it in. I noticed right away it was making noise while rotating. I figured after it ran a while the noise would work its way out. It never did, the gears were making a grinding noise and once every rotation there would be a pop. I returned it and got a replacement asap from Amazon.
The second also makes a noise but isn't as noticeable, but its the gears again.
Otherwise the light is cool and makes an impact in a sports room.
I'll deal with the slight noise......there really isnt much to say about this product it was a gift for my husbands boom boom room (mancave)
