Excellent build quality, functionality and style. I've had one of these lamps for the past 8 years or so... I just picked up a 2nd one for my wife's bedside table. The light bulb has never burned out in my original one either, even with almost daily use. I highly recommend this lamp!

Made in China is the only instruction that you get, and its printed in bold on the box. This is a desk lamp with low luminance. Its output is similar to an old low wattage incandescent light bulb. The color of the light is not akin to halogen bulbs at all. Maybe its the heavy frosting of the cover. I did not return the product, and I'm trying to find a reasonable use for it. I do not recommend this product.
