I am thrilled with my new desk lamp; total elegance, sleek and very stylish. I really like the quality of this unit. Seems very sturdy, stable, and durable (at least for the week that I've had it). It doesn't light up a very large area, though, in spite of the wattage on the bulb. I think that it's due to the design of the shade. It's very good at illuminating the working area on my desk, though.All-in-all, I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.
