I have never bought a lamp online before, so was a little concerned about the whole process. But the lamp -and the entire transaction -couldn't be better. This table lamp is classic and beautiful -the base and shade (and even the finial!) are well made and look luxurious. It seems like the kind of lamp that will never go out of style, and would be a nice addition in a traditional or even a contemporary room. The lamp and shade were securely and carefully packed, and arrived promptly as promised in perfect shape. I couldn't be happier with this purchase, and in future whenever I need a lamp, Amazon and this seller will be the first place I will look.

truly beautiful lamp......well made...hefty....great shade & finial....but it is NOT oxblood red!!!!!!...so very disappointed...it is a burnt sienna/umber/cinnamony color blend
