I have to say, that I'd set my cap for a POLISHED brass pharmacy lamp and NOBODY had one. It appears that POLISHED brass is out of style. Antiqued brass? Nickel? Chrome? No problem! But POLISHED brass? Forget it. Well, amazon.com had one. The price was right and I ordered it. It's OK. I'd wanted something nicer, but this one will be just fine. It's not as if it's going to The White House.
(To this day, I have no idea what a "parabolic tent" is.)
