The look of the lamp is nice and the shade seems to be of good quality, but the base of the lamp is not even as strong as tin. It came dented up. I put this on a gift registry so I didn't pay for it, but if I had I would have been really disappointed. I'd say it's worth about $20, $40 tops. I'd recommend Ikea or Marshall's if you have them.

Great modern looking map with a shiney chrome finish. We needed a standing lamp to go along with the chrome coffee table and chrome-legged couch. This lamp fits right in and looks sharp with a fair price.
